@Mirage:
At first I was really disappointed on how Burgess and Diamant didn't react at all but then I reread chapter and i noticed that when Sabo did his attack last week he destroyed all the ring but his place stayed safe.
we can see here http://readms.com/r/one_piece/744/2337/5 that the center of the ring was not destroyed
we can also see Burgess and diamant losing their balance.
ok now i have no problem with this scene but, I still don't like how the fact that after a lot of chapter in this arc focusing on the mera mera, sabo eat the DF in a litle panel, like the mera mera was nothing more but a detail in this arc, I personally found it very rushed Oda could'have done this in a much much better way.
And about sabo being Nbr 2 of revolutionary, i don't know how to feel, either he is really that strong and i underestimated him, either the revolutionary are not that strong…. and i was disappointed by the fact that the revolutionary army looks like a crew, I was thinking it may be like an actual army (like marine) with generals (who are as strong as admirals) etc etc....
Beside that on usopp side it was expected nothing special.
I loved the end, too bad Oda is taking a break, I really want to see this birdcage.
Also I'm probably one of the few people but I thought Sabo's design was great, one of the bast in the series.
The revolutionary are certainly not that strong. There is a reason why everything is done in secret. They are building up power all across the World, which they have done for years. Overthrowing dictators and governments that are going against the will of the people. The revolutionaries are not a crew. They are an organisation. If they had the power of the marines they could outright fight the World government in an open battle instead of doing everything in secret.
Ivankov, Inazuma, previously Kuma and now Sabo have all shown to be revolutionary commanders. They may not have the strength of the World Government top officials or maybe even a Yonkou crew commanders, but their strength lies in intelligence, secrecy and undermining the World government where they are weakest, not in raw numbers and brute strength.
