@Demon:
Honestly, I think it'd be funny to take one of Kubus' Softsubs (since Kubus is the only one who DOES softsubs anymore…) and make "One Piece: The Perfect Weeaboo Edition! Tired of People Translating all those EXTRA SPECIAL Words in the Japanese Language that mean OH SO MUCH MORE than they could possibly mean in English? Well, LOOK NO FURTHER!"
Luffy: Ore is the Man Who Will Ni Naru the Kaizoku-Ou!" "Translation Note: Ore is a Word that means "I/Me" in Japanese, but is considererd Very Rude" "Ni Naru" can be read as 'Become', however since Luffy's one True Dream is and always has been this, when HE says it it means oh so much more than simply 'Become' " "Kaizoku-Ou Means 'Pirate King', It's a proper Noun"
Margaret: Atashi Tasukete'd this poor Onna out there." "Translation Note: Atashi is a word that means "I/Me" in Japanese, but is specifically only used by women." "Tasukete means 'Save', however, there Margaret saved his life, so when SHE says 'Tasukete', obviously there is more weight to the word than just simply saying 'saved' " "Onna" can mean 'girl', but particularly refers to a younger girl, rather than 'Obahan" or "Obachan" which would mean 'old Woman'. "
Oh god… Kubus, could I do this?... it would be so freaking fun...
Do it.
