You need to get the X haki gen from mother and X haki gen from father for girls. While men only need X haki from mother. That would also explain why so fewer girls are shown with King's Haki.

Cause if your mother only has one X of haki gen… then it is 50/50 if your child will become one (in girl case the father must have his X gen as haki gen else it would be 0%)

First of all, human beings have 23 chromosomes in total. And there is only one couple of sex chromosomes. So if it is a genetics thing, it doesn't have to have a difference between men and women.

Secondly, if we put genetics on the play, we should use the ratios not the numbers. There may be women with haki who are not pirate. Moreover
