Before luffy wil reach the final island, i'm sure he will do a retour visiting east west south and north blue. alabasta and other islands. its not like he promised someone that he would return beeing a pirate king. though a retour could be kind of lame I think there might also be some kind of excitement. why else would oda draw nami spying on the secret how to cross calm belt with seastones. they will for sure leave grand line for some reasons, we dont know yet. and this will take a lot of time

he will eat a ton in a second and then he will reach ace,use haki and this will be the end.

This could become really dangerous now. Just think how long luffy takes a nap after a fight, i can imagine that when he awakes, there will be just 2 to 5 hours time until ace's execution and I hope luffy got the idea of haki…

dammmit oda~ give us some awesomeness this time, last chapter was this chapter was really lame, so I want some Haki with no end. If Luffy happens to lose again, i dont know it would be too terrible.

I think we should expect mr3 and bug to be drawn to luffy at some point as well as bon. luffy definetly will use Haki, beat up mag and ending up at the kitchen, eating there going down to lvl 5 kicking some asses and saving ace, fishman and kicking crocs ass again. then he sees someone unexpected and this will be another epic from oda.

wow this minotaurus guy seems to be really strong. Luffy will sure have a problem with this one.

lvl 3: bon clay >.> will join …will sure take the whole upcoming chapter + another chapter fighting with the guardian
lvl 4: mr 1 will stay
lvl 5: croco will stay
lvl 6: ace and jimbo there is a lvl 6 ...for sure.

then we should expect luffy destroying the whole prison and jimbei will bring the whole party to shabondy or something...jimbo sure can speak with the seakings, so they will help them:)

well i think one thing is for sure, this new devil fruit user is of no danger for luffy since poison doent work on him (croco thing) but if it will cause a big damage on him, i wonder if we will get some HAKI to see. yeah, i know this word is kinda taboo now but if there should be some power ups, then I hope Haki will be one of those, of not then luffy should do something new with gear 2 or 3.

Ah yeah, one disapointment, why the hell had he to use gear 3 on the chicken, a normal rifle would do the job… ( i just thought of a chibi luffy doing a gatling:wub:)

LUffy's hands down my favorite main character, so I'm not having too big a problem with it, but for those of you who have another strawhat as your number one...is the manga focusing on Luffy ALONE starting to grate on you at all?

Do you think Oda-sensei is doing this for a reason? Like maybe Luffy will disappear for the bulk of the next arc or it'll simply focus on everyone else more than usual so he's giving us as much Luffy as possible so we're not complaining when the focus shifts? Or is it simply because this arc is focusing so much on HIS backstory and lineage that the others would only be distracting?

hm, i think its just that oda probably couldnt show every member to lvl up, so he seperated them, so that when the strawhats meet up again, there will be a plausible explanation for theor power ups.

and oda is doing everything for a reason, its always like this.

I as well think that there is too much luffy, but its probably the best way to introduce the new powers of strawhats later.
