Hello. I never had an interest in the series, but recently spotted the anime on Hulu and decided to give it a watch out of boredom. I have now spent the rest of the week reading the entire manga. This is goddamn great. I highly regret my initial indifference.

Also, why make Senku and Byakuya not related? The only reason I can see a logical reason is if they're choosing to pair him off with someone and avoid the incest route. (the village is already confirmed to be inbred, so why care if Senku is blood related to them or not?)

I want to like her. I want her to be something other than fanservice. I want her to be relevant to the plot in ways that doesn't focus on her "plot".

Having a fanservicey character isn't always bad as long as they have depth to balance out the sexy, but…she's so awful. It doesn't help that as the "girl" of the group, she's useless in a fight and thus relegated to reconnaissance and directing people to safety.

My OCD demands one new opening per arc; two if it's an especially long arc. And this current one got tweaked around already, what else new would they even add? This arc is long, but not varied.. Still the same everybody vs. Doflamingo scenario.

Uh, more screentime for the Doflamingo family and the side characters. Sabo (and the other Revolutionaries, I guess.) doing stuff. Law's past. Etc, etc…
