I am inclined to agree about the "lying part" perhaps not to the severity it's been given but the fact remains.
No indication, tweet, report, blog post, etc or WHATEVER was given for the delay for season 6. Even a tiny little twitter blurb or facebook post would've sufficed.
"We're sorry to say that season 6 voyage 1 of one piece has been delayed, we'll have more news for you when we can! Thanks for understanding!"
Boom, done. The "outrage" if it can be called that is that Funimation didn't seem to provide that at all, they gave a date then didn't deliver without explanation.

The post from their official blog states 5/14/2014, So I can completely understand the frustration. We are consumers, we have the right to ask questions about things we are willing to pay money for.
On the flip-side of that though, we're consumers but that doesn't give us the right to act like children who didn't get a new toy. There are certainly far more important things in life than One Piece, and although frustrating as it is. We cannot react with anything more than a "well gee, that sucks. Whats the deal funimation?" otherwise we are just over dramatizing about entertainment.
