Arlong Park, that was the moment I knew I would watch this series until it would end.

• The Dragon is going to be the next villian after Arlong. I really thought that would happen.
• That the Grand Line was under Reverse Mountain
• That Sanji also had a Devil Fruit.

Well I always say Cowboy Bebop is a good way to get into anime. But it really depends on what he likes. You could always show him Fate/stay night, Naruto, Evangelion, Bleach or Fullmetal Alchemist.

I just started to watch this series on the only Romanian channel the has anime. At the moment it is the best series on the channel, which is not that hard, because it airs right after Cubix.
Anyway has anybody watched this series, i just love the characters and the story. The last episode i watched was when Hong Kong was destroyed so please no big spoilers.
PS: I haven't see the OVA.

I think the reason many people are so upset, is because this arc, starting from the Strawhats arrival at Water 7, began 2 years ago. It is one looong arc and many thought it would never end.
I think this arc is great and I loved all the fight's.
We had one of the most badass lines in the series when Luffy was confronted by 10.000 men. "Enies Lobby has a force of 10.000, how many comrades did you bring" Luffy "Im am alone, know get out of my way"
Franky's fight against Fokorou was awesome and his finishing move was fucking great.
Chopper went from little cute Reindeer to Hulk/King Kong monster.
As for the Deus Ex Machina Merry, that is the only thing that pissed me off. I got used to Oda never killing anybody, I don't understand why everybody was so angry that the Franky Familiy survived Buster Call, everybody was "What they survived, nooooooo". They survived the Strawhats when Luffy and the others destroyed the Franky House and they survived the Shingans of CP9.
I considered the option that Merry could survive, but he just appearing out of nowhere saving everybody at the last second, was just too much.

And what does that make Naruto… Orko?

-Islamic (as much as I can tell) - worship the God of "Abraham and Ishmael" (who was Abraham's first son). They follow similar laws to the aforementioned and don't believe in Christ as the Messaih (actually, do they even have a Messaih mentioned?). Don't know much more about them than that.

All I know about Islam is that they worship the God of "Abraham, Ishamael and Jacob". I know that they consider Jesus a great prophet or a messenger of God, but not his son, atleast thats what I know, could be wrong.
As for Messaih I know they believe in the Mahdi, the one who will create the perfect islamic kingdom after the "end of days". What the Mahdi will do and when he will do it depends if you are Sunni or Shi'a as each of them have different views on the prophets of islam.

I don't believe in anything really. I don't believe in Jesus, God, Allah, whatever. I have never read the Bible or any "holy book". To be honest I even get a uncomfortable feeling when I am in a church. But at the same time a have nothing against people who belive in some "higher power". I respekt people who believe in God and get strengh from their faith.
As for such fundamentel extremists they are bound to fail in everything they
want to achieve. I dosen't matter if they are muslems, christians or some sect, they will eventualy be frogotten.
