Going back to a post a few pages ago, what about race and racism in one piece? Oda certainly addresses racism as a central issue in the fishman island arc, but I'm not convinced he does a good job of dealing with racism and also black people throughout the manga.
What do you think? One piece does seem very different from a lot of other mangas, I don't feel like I've seen the same stereotyping of blacks like in other mangas, but there definitely is some. Oda does have Luffy and the straw hats fighting against slavery, but as someone already said in this thread, it seems very supported by the World Government, not even the moral judgment characters like aokiji, smoker or maybe Garp are shown standing against it.
