Fun detail: as Pica gets sliced into smaller pieces, so do the panels of the double spreads. They go from 3 to 6 to 18. And now I'm wondering if it's a coincidence that they're all multiples of three.

And even Robin had her moments. One chapter after she joined (and the first chapter in which we clearly saw her true self), and she was bribing Nami, helping Luffy impersonate Chopper and scarying Usopp.
Exactly. Jinbe isn't officially a nakama yet.
Give him a few chapters, have him interact with the crew outside of a battle and I'm sure he'll show more personality. Give him the benefit of the doubt.
I think the problem is that Jinbe lacks strong flaws and quirks. His personality also won't create any kind of tension, rivalry or conflict within the crew, and friendly conflict is good for interactions (think how Sanji and Zoro are rivals, or how Nami uses Sanji for her purposes or dislikes Brook's advances, or how Chopper, Luffy and Usopp usually do immature stuff). Jinbe seems like the type who will just stand in the background and comment a few things while the others are having fun and butting heads.
