I just don't understand why Oda is revealing all these important characters in a movie.
It's anti-climactic and I really don't see how it will fit in with the canon.

This war will be awesome, the entire world, all sorts of side characters and different groups will come back with there own idea of how the world should be formed
Navy (Absolute Justice)
Navy split (Good guy Navy men)
Straw Hats
Yonkou and their crew (and you thought one was tough to handle)
Shichibukai
Supernovas
Revolutionary's will finally have there time to shine
Former Shichbukai and their crews (croc, Moria etc.)
Hopefully Bon-Chan
and probably tons moreit'll be awesome, and imagine the endgame fights now, Zoro and Mihawk slicing up islands as they fight sanji vs…. well he really needs a good enemy (although Dofla vs Croc interupted by sanji and croc realizing he's Mr. Prince could be amazing)
DAHZIYVJHF^ u3 oqw so awesome to imagine
and of course that's only the fighting, the story will be better since it's end game
This has me excited. So much potentiallllll!!
Hey guys, my Figuarts ZERO New World crew is missing two members. Anyone know where I could find either Brook or Sanji?
I'm not sure whether Oda actually intended for Gear 2nd to be compartmentalized now, whether he just changed his mind, or whether the anime is just screwing up, but I actually like that the anime is doing it full-body. Considering Gear 2nd comes from accelerating the pumping of his circulation system, it makes a hell of a lot more sense for it to be a full-body effect.
Looks like Aokiji is free to be the next crewmate…
:ninja:
About Zoro cutting the cage made of seastone… why would it be impossible? I remember the sphynx in Impel Down was able to cut through a net made of seastone.
Well seastone is supposed to be the hardest substance in the One Piece world, isn't it? So presumably that net wasn't solid seastone otherwise it wouldn't be flexible. But the cage, being a cage, supposedly was solid and impossible to cut, just like the Enies Lobby handcuffs.

Thank you very much!
I got an email from Anime Export only 2.5 hours ago about the New World Figuarts figures for Brook, Sanji, and Nami, and they're already sold out.
Anybody seen them anywhere?
Anybody know when the preorders start for GLM Vol. 9 Zoro? Did I miss it?
!
So since even at lvl 100 you're going to be short 15 points from max stats (you can only get 5 points from items), what stats do you guys recommend skimping on? Or is it character specific (e.g. how good their super attacks are)?
I feel like either Support or Super is least important. Personally I tend to skimp on the super stat, since my supers usually either miss or get interrupted. Some of the support characters can be very helpful, like Dr. Kureha, Mr. 1, Onion, etc.
Oh wow, I had no idea weight mattered. I was using characters like Croc and Mihawk. Just tried it with Usopp and beat it first try.
Now all I have to do is beat Chopper in under 20 seconds. I've heard Nami's tornado special is really good, but I don't have her on my crew…
UPDATE: Did it with Mihawk's super.
Another question for you guys:
How do you beat the spotbilled duck race towards the end of Usopp's Adventure? The bonus is to beat it in under a minute, which I can't even get close to. On top of that, the CPU gets to ride a waver. Is there some kind of trick to this?
You're awesome, Fenberry, thanks for your help! The only thing keeping me from really enjoying this game is that I don't fully understand the mechanics. I probably never would've known about the Accel-Heat thing if one of the bonus conditions wasn't "Don't use Accel-Heat".
BTW, I watch a ton of your videos on youtube (although my username is SverigeHobbes there - I've never stayed consistent). I especially like the Unlimited Cruise ones because I never got to play the game.
Hey, sorry to keep digging up an old topic, but there's not much info out there about this game.
So what does Accel-Heat actually do, besides using up skill bars and making you go faster? What determines how long it lasts?
Even more importantly, what is the trick to gaining experience after you beat the other four captain stories? Re-doing battles gets you hardly anything. I am grossly underpowered for Usopp's adventure.
Jinbe's just such a good fit in my mind:
He seems to feel a debt to the dead Queen, and a duty to fix the race relations.
The Strawhats need a fishperson or merperson.
He already has a strong connection to Luffy, and understands what the crew has been through recently.
Recent additions have been older (Robin, Franky, Brooke).
His strength is at post-timeskip levels.
Despite seeing mostly a serious demeanour, those were in jail and war. He has the potential for gags as things move on.
Man, I can just picture him standing with the rest of the crew!
Ah, haha, my bad. I only just saw them and was too excited to check back.
EDIT:
Some people have said Jinbe needs a "dream". His dream will be to unite the human and fishman races, partly due to a guilty feeling that he helped make things worse (i.e. significance of flashback).
Hey, just bought this game used. It's awesome! I don't have instructions though, so two quick questions.
How do you:
EDIT:
Another question. I just unlocked Usopp's mode. First fight is Mihawk at Lvl.40?! What is the trick to gaining experience after you beat the other four captain stories? Re-doing battles gets you hardly anything.
I just want to pipe in and say that, in my mind, the 10th crewmate is almost definitely going to be a fishman/fishwoman because it would be unique and also be symbolic. Symbolic in that it is fitting for the Pirate King to lead the way on bridging racial divides.
And, less likely, but still quite likely (in my mind) is that fishman will be Jinbe. As mentioned by others, any new characters at this point have missed out on so much crucial crew bonding, especially the timeskip. But, Jinbe was there, forming a strong bond with Luffy. He's also at an appropriate strength level for a New World crewmate.
I would support Jinbe joining. Don't let his seemingly dry personality turn you off. I don't think Oda would include a boring crewmate. We've only seem him during serious times. His personality has lots of potential to open up during and after this arc.
Blackbeard, you
.PS - Is it weird that I immediately worried about Oda?
Anybody else think that Sanji receiving blood from those gay brothers will be significant? It looks like he saw her but was disinterested: "What's that? There's something behind her?"
Maybe in OP world the blood of a gay person curbs one's heterosexuality?
It's a re-painted Nami with a transplanted Robin head? Not a bad idea actually…
I remember this one~ I almost preordered it when I could half a year ago. But it got released in the same month as Kagamine Rin Meltdown. This one:

And I liked that one better xD
I'm sort of glad I didn't order that Miku though. I saw her later at a convention and didn't like her that much after all.
This Rin though is still, even though I'm not a big fan of here character, about the most awesome figurine I have in my collection |3 Still boxed sadly cuz I don't have the space to display her at the moment..But as soon as I move into my new room that should be solved. w
Ah, that one's very cool as well! Still like the Miku one better, though.
it was under 3000yen before in amazon
lucky crease got her for me
Under 3000?! How could it be so cheap?? Man, I am so NOT a savvy buyer.
Not One Piece related, but wanted to share…
Recently discovered the whole "Hatsune Miku" craze, which I found pretty interesting, and while researching I came across this:
!
I was blown away; I think the design's just awesome and I love the colour. I ordered it almost immediately, despite it being fairly pricey. It's in the mail now…
Can we just add HLJ and ToysLogic to the Red Flag already and end it? They both suck ass.
I usually use HLJ and haven't had any issues. What sites should I be using?
Hey guys, my brother's been looking to get a keychain of Zoro's swords, but I'm having a little trouble. Anybody know of a good site with something like this? (the site that's from doesn't seem to ship to anywhere but China)
EDIT:
I've found a few sites with ones like below, but it's tough to know if they're any good.
"My father was a test tube and my mother was a rubber band - you do the math!"
I asked this a few weeks ago, but didn't get much of a response:
Does anyone know where I can buy One Piece stuff in Toronto?
Question that doesn't deserve it's own thread: wtf is Catalina Devon.
You mean besides a stone-cold fox?
A total babe.
Oda's answer is that fishmen, despite their appearance of fish, are actually mammals, and reproduce the same way humans do.
Considering that mer-folks share the same blood as fishmen and human, and can interbreed, I don't see any reason not to think of them as the same.
Rule 34? I'm too afraid to check.
how can i use the colour spread as a back round,i like it alot.
You can download the chapter here.
! Had some free time if anybuddy wants em

Those are cool, but Luffy looks weird with his scar flipped. Might want to mirror it back.
Anybody else find it weird that Oda making Luffy's scar thinner and thinner? It looked appropriate to a blast in the original colour spread, but now it looks like scars from cuts. He must have changed his mind, but I think it looked better before.
Similar to that, the crown of Luffy's hat has been drawn really huge sometimes recently. Again, so much so that it's like Oda's changing it's style. Looks ridiculous.
Drag them to your desktop from your browser.
Thanks, but that only copies the hyperlink to the next page.
EDIT: Thanks nyh - I usually get it from Mangashare but they didn't have it the last time I checked.
Possibly a stupid question, but how do you download pictures from Mangastream?
@mdmartin101:
While many people were complaining about Luffy not being dead silent at the end of last episode, I actually prefer what they did here.
Instead of Luffy breaking, his crying became harsher. He was without a doubt broken, and while in the manga he just fell apart and once, here he last all reasoning, simply crying, than screaming, and than just silent.
Yeah I actually really liked Luffy's reaction both in this episode and the last. People were complaining that it looked weird and awkward.
But guess what people? Grief that sharp is not smooth or subtle… it's a snibbling mess.
Just watched the episode again. Love it. So unexpected, so impactful. Luffy and everybody (including the viewer if they didn't read the manga) just can't believe he's actually dead.
It's so refreshing to break away from the cliché rescue. It's nice when they succeed, but I'm always like, "wouldn't it be cool if the writer had the balls to just troll all the fans?" And Oda did it!
What the?!
Gear 2nd Whitebeard?!!!
He's just steaming mad.
I can't believe they didn't find a way to stick Buggy in their.
THAT's what made this episode so great. I couldn't put my finger on it.
I expected Wolf to have a much deeper, booming voice. He is the largest thing alive, after all.
Toei came through when it counted. Excellent episode, 10/10.
Goodbye, Ace.
I am very much looking forward to tomorrow. My brother only watches the anime and I'm tired of tip-toeing around… next episode.
PS - What the hell is that (above) from?
Does anyone know any stores in Toronto that sell One Piece stuff?
If I ever see more Buggy filler again it'll be too soon. I'm starting to hate his face.
This arc and Impel Down have been so painful for me. They're going to need to make a One Piece Kai and cut out all the crap for the DVDs.
The next time the Strawhats are stirring shit up enough to raise their bounties, Sanji will find the Marines' photographer and take the goddam picture himself.
oh my god… he looks glorious... you can see his ASS UNNFNFFFF OSMDGLSKNDGLSKN OMG. You can remove his COAT.
i am going to LOVE THIS FIGURE. I can't wait to see his ass I mean the figure u
can't believe you cropped that pic of his face…. when you scroll lower... NIPPLES.
xDDD
can not WAIT to get this Whitebeard seriously ;u;
If I was Whitebeard, I'd be worried.
I thought this was a great episode, except for the Buggy filler of course. I hate Buggy filler.
8/10
Oh my god, they're porting Unlimited Cruise to the 3DS?!
I hope it makes the jump to NA.
I'm 95% certain that the next crewmember will be a fishman. It's what they need and it would add some more variety to the crew. I can already imagine him standing with the group. I don't know if it'll be Jinbe, but I hope it's not Hammond… he's too ugly.
@Zach:
Sorry about that. A week of studying takes its toll, and I was looking at the FUNi DVD thread at the same time.
I'm going to go pass out in my CivPro book now.
Zach, you're in law school? You sound like you're studying harder than I am…
