      oh god I used to play those online virtual pet sites all the time as a kid. i'm ashamed to admit how many billions of hours I spent as a young teen training my pets and hoarding stuff

      For nostalgia's sake today I actually somehow unbelievably remembered my Neopets password and logged on to look at my (14 years old!) account. Most of the stuff I had in my deposit box and gallery is now super-rare/retired, i could probably sell it all and be a neopian billionaire, lol. I remember collecting most of that stuff too, though it feels like a hundred years ago. It's like taking a peek back at my younger teen self, kinda surreal

      Do you have access to counseling where you live, Nolus? Maybe even someone through your university? I strongly suggest talking to a professional as soon as possible if you are considering self-harm.

      When I was a teenager, I used to self-injure to deal with my (then) depression. From experience, I can tell you that any superficial relief you may feel from cutting will fleeting and not worth it. It will not fix or help the underlying issue whatsoever. I have terrible scars on my arm that will never go away, even though I stopped cutting 13 years ago and am perfectly happy with my life now. Please don't do that to yourself. Seek help.

      And if you feel drawn to cut with that particular knife, go throw it away. Right now. Or at least put it somewhere you can't get to it.

    • RE: Iga is doing wtf Konami isn't doing (Bloodstained kickstarter)

      @Gekko135:

      Last I checked, they attempted to turn the franchise into something like Diablo.

      Book of Memories….how low this series has fallen.

      But with a crazy fool like Kojima and the design mastery of Guillermo del Toro working together for this game....yeah, this sounds good.

      I played through this teaser and I was numb with dread during most of it. Starts you off in a dark, interrogation-like room that leads to a well-lit, if somewhat dilapidated, hallway. Locked door, swinging light. Picture of a woman torn out by the clock, one minute til midnight in military time. There's an announcer on the radio, chronicling a series of murders, none of which seem related outside of the fact that the killers were all fathers who murdered their families in terrible ways.

      You go through the door at the end of the hall...and you're back in the same hallway, but now things are just a little bit different. It's getting darker. You hear noises. The door at the end of the hallway is closed. You walk up to it, confused...and the locked bathroom door swings open. You investigate and the door locks behind you. There's a deformed fetus in the sink, pulsating. The door starts shaking, like someone is trying the handle. There are sounds, the fetus crying and something else. After a while, the door unlocks and you can progress down the hallway again, and the door is open for you.

      Next hallway. Things are darker. It's quiet. You turn the corner and you see this

      standing there, motionless.

      You stop. You feel yourself go cold. It doesn't move.

      You slowly walk forward, and the light above it goes out, leaving that section of the hallway shrouded in shadow. But the door is open at the end, and you have to walk through it to proceed.

      I love this shit.

      The helplessness, the subtle decay, the heavy ball of fear sitting in my stomach, dreading to turn the corner or look back because you know you're going to see something unspeakable sooner or later…a swinging refrigerator dripping blood, a face in the crack of a door, something pale and twitching crawling out of the bathtub behind you. The sanity-stretching repetitiveness of the hallway. Moving pictures, organic sounds. Something bloody and moving in a paper bag. Scrawled messages on the wall, shrouded in red light.

      This is horror ambience done right.

      This is the sort of fear and dread a player should feel when playing a Silent Hill game.

      I've been playing this series since SH1, over 15 years ago. It has been, and probably will continue to be, one of my most favorite horror series. But this series has fallen on some hard times over the years, and has churned out some seriously mediocre games. Team Silent is gone, doing different things. Akira Yamaoka is gone. The last couple of developers have only grabbed the skirt of what this series should be. So I'm glad we have a new team with some big names working on this, because it's become stagnant and needs something fresh to make it relevant again. And since this teaser is apparently more of a demonstration of the sort of atmosphere we can expect than actual gameplay, I'd say they know what they're doing when it comes to raising a chill.

      I think this could be really promising. And if it turns out to be a dud...well, that's nothing new for this franchise. But by god, I am hopeful.

      @Nolus:

      Is it too much to ask that my love actually do… love-ey stuff with me? Over the internet?

      Is he normally romantic and now suddenly isn't? Or has he always shied away from romantic expression?

      If it's the latter, he just may not be the "romantic" type, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for you. My partner and I are not really the romantic sort to show up with wine and flowers, or take moonlit walks on the beach, but we're crazy about each other. We express our love differently (through humor, for example). Is it possible that he might not be the kind of guy who is comfortable with obvious displays of affection? Is he aware that you feel neglected?

      If it's the former and this behavior is new, you should definitely set aside a time to discuss the change. Try not to assume the worst; it could be something going on in his life that could be totally unrelated to your relationship.

      Either way, you should talk to him about it and see if you can both come to an understanding where your needs are met as a couple.

      It did that for us too. We put in the download code and then the store crashed before we could start the download. Keep trying to go back to View Downloads in the PSN store, it should show up eventually. It did for us after a number of tries.

      @Demon:

      Did you have an improperly placed sensor bar? Were you not putting the Wiimote down and letting the Wii Motion Plus Calibrate in the beginning of the game? I'm asking a serious question because I'm legitimately baffled.

      Oh hey, one thing actually that might explain this… did you have a Wiimote that had Motion Plus Built in, or did you have a regular Wiimote that had the little Motion Plus add-on dongle on the bottom? I used the actual gold Zelda Wiimote that came with the LE version of the game. Is that it?! Did the Wiimotes with built in M+ Function better than ones that used the dongle?! I seriously need to know where the whole "The controls don't work" criticism is coming from because that's so far away from the experience I had, and even my brother is having (He just started playing SS last week) that I'm just completely floored...

      The system I used was borrowed from a friend of ours and I thought I was using a Wii Motion Plus that had the motion thingy already built in. Maybe it did use the adapter. I'll have to ask Gekko - I honestly don't entirely remember, it was a while ago. I did allow the Wiimote to calibrate. Gekko set up the sensor bar and everything seemed to be working fine as far as I could tell. Maybe it was a hardware issue? If it was a hardware issue with the system/sensor bar/Wiimote, I would actually be relieved. It was very confusing to hear people insist they've had no problems with the controls while I could barely get the bird's wings to flap.

      @Satsuki:

      Maybe Nintendo will take pity on you and port it to the 3DS or their future handheld device.

      I would absolutely buy it. I love me my handheld Zelda games.

      yeah it's more along the lines of "I don't have the time or patience to practice these controls so I can finally start enjoying the game" more than an inability to adapt, tbh.

      I know my younger self would have sat with that dumb controller for hours and hours until I mastered it, but now…..eh.

      it's just too bad, as SS remains the only Zelda game I've started that I haven't finished.

      @Gekko135:

      Dervish and her experience with The Skyward Sword.

      "Why won't the damn bird fly right?"

      "Hm? I dunno… let me see. Hmm. Ok instead of just shaking the wiimote up and down, it's like you have to flap it... just flap it."

      "But I don't want to flap. There's like 4 buttons on this thing that aren't even being used. What the fuck?!"

      I absolutely hated the motion controls.

      hate hate hate

      Because I wanted to like this game so much. I mean, the game is beautiful. It's charming. It's Zelda!

      But after struggling with the controls up to and through the Skyview Temple, and trying about 30 times to hit a switch with the beetle so I could escape the mini-boss room, I was just done. I think I even told Gekko that I did not just work 8 hours at my job to come home and fight these unecessarily complicated controls, lol. From what little I played of the game, it seems as through a lot of the actions the game has you perform could have been done easily with a thumbstick and buttons. The motion controls were just completely counter-intuitive to me. If you had fun with it, then good for you, I guess. I definitely appreciate what the devs were trying to do with the controls, trying to keep it fresh. But it just wasn't fun for me. Maybe I'm getting old.

      I would love to revisit this game if I somehow had the option of using a normal controller in the future. Otherwise, I look to the upcoming WiiU Zelda with anticipation; I just hope that if the new installment of the series uses moco, it doesn't give me the same difficulties I had with SS.

      Playing Valiant Hearts, a lovely puzzle game set in World War 1. This game is amazing, with beautiful cel-shaded animation and a delicate, classical soundtrack. There is very little dialogue in this game; it goes for a visual narrative that is surprisingly touching to watch play out. Definitely worth $15 if anyone cares to pick it up!

      whaaaa that's insane

      It cost me about $12 USD for my license in Kentucky. There was a vision and written test, and after passing that, I was scheduled for the skills test where I basically looped around the neighborhood, paralleled parked, parked on a hill, ect. It was very easy, and I don't think I even paid anything for the test, just the fee for the license itself. $350, my god

      @Foolio:

      Keep in mind that if you don't have a PS3 then you might be willing to pay to be able to stream it on PS4, because you can't just go out and buy the game.

      Yup, that's a good point, too. I'm sure there's a good number of people who have a PS4 but not the earlier consoles. And I personally know friends who have traded in their old PS3s toward the PS4, so they don't have their older systems anymore. So, this will give some players the option of playing older games without having to invest in buying an older console. And even if you do have a older console….imagine being able to stream a game like, I dunno, Dark Souls on the PS4 and being able to use the PS4's party chat. I think that's pretty neat.

      It's not going to be a service that suits everyone for sure, but it's nice having options in case there's an older game I feel like renting.

    • RE: The PlayStation Thread

      $8 to rent a game for a week is about what the local video rental place here charges, so that's cool. $15 to play the game for an entire month is actually a really good price, especially if you're already confident that you don't plan to buy the game. $30 for 3 months is pretty reasonable ($10 per month), although I'd probably just prefer to buy the game outright if I'm already willing to spend that much money and time on it (or just dig it out and play it on one of my older systems).

      But $3 to $5 bucks to play a game for 4 hours kinda sucks, imo. Maybe if you have company over and want to play a game with them for a few hours, but it'd probably be a better deal just to rent it for the week. Maybe if it were $3-$5 for 24 hours. Hopefully they'll adjust the prices to make it more appealing.

      And of course, if the service isn't worth the price they're asking…I just won't give em my money.

      • Varys has such a finely-attuned sense of survival, and that U-turn back to the ship upon hearing the bells ringing was hilarious. I love Varys' character so much, his actor does such a good job with him, always. That was an absolutely brilliant "NOPE" moment.

      • Brienne and the Hound's scene was a fantastic fight to watch, and my fondness for both characters made it impossible to pick one to root for over the other.

      ! I liked Arya's inscrutable expression while Sandor encouraged her to kill him; her decision could be interpreted a few different ways. Did she think he didn't deserve mercy? Was she reluctant to kill him because they bonded to some degree during their journey? His attempts to encourage Arya to kill him because of his past actions was pretty sad to watch, and I'll miss watch their road adventures. Brienne's viciousness during the fight was very impressive (bit his ear off, hot damn). Brienne's a good person, but Arya is, understandably, short on trust, so I don't blame her for hitting the road for Braavos. Really interested to see the next chapter of her story to play out next season.

      • Bran.

      ! They finally got to the tree dude. That D&D skeleton fight was okay. The Child(ren) have fire bombs, which is rad. Kid needs acting classes though.
      ! Kinda surprised they killed off Jojen, but after he led Bran there, guess there wasn't much left for him to do.

      • Stan the Man to save the day at the Wall. More Stannis means more Davos, and that is a very good thing.

      ! - Tywin's death is a crippling blow to the crown. The Lannisters have lost the one man who was keeping their shit together, and now that Tywin's dead, they're probably going to have a hell of a time managing their allegiances and resources, among other things. And I'm going to miss Charles Dance! He was the perfect actor for this role–elegant, intelligent, commanding.

      • Dany locks up two of her dragons and…well, not much else. She is now allowing slaves to sell themselves back into (albeit more limited) slavery, because so many of them are homeless and starving, basically taking another small step back toward the way their society was before. sigh

      Book spoilers

      ! Seriously, book spoilers.
      ! >! No Stoneheart. Man. I'm kind of beginning to wonder if they're going to include her at all in the show, now. I think it would have been a great "Holy Shit!" moment to end the season on that would have had fans talking even more than they already are. My boyfriend is a show-only watcher and I was waiting and waiting for it, looking over at him to gauge his reaction, but the reveal never came. 😞
      ! Also, Lena Heady trolled the shit out of us. damn you, Cersei…
      ! And changing the dialogue to exclude Tysha during Tyrion's release makes a certain amount of sense, given that she's barely mentioned in the show outside of (I think) two or three scenes...but that also means that Tyrion and Jaime leave each other on good terms, and that Jaime is still not aware of Cersei's infidelity. Curious how that's going to play out in the future. oh well

      @stephen:

      I got the distinct impression (on top of just being bad at shooters) that I was way easier to kill in PvP due to low defense.

      Yep, the Warlock's armor-to-cloth ratio is 20:80, versus the Hunter's 50:50 and the Titan's 80:20, so he's definitely the squishy-ist of the three (albeit powerful). Apparently they can be specced for support (Firesinger) or offensive (Voidwalker), with the latter being described as a glass cannon by Bungie. I was testing the Warlock earlier and he's almost certainly going to be a risk/reward type of class, which is okay. I personally don't tend to gravitate toward caster classes, but using his Solar Flare (?) special was pretty damn OP (basically one-shotted that stupid Wizard from the first mission), and that was slick.

      @Gekko135:

      I just hope for more customization and variety from the weapons… which I'm sure will come.

      I'm definitely confident that we've only seen a very small part of the array of weapons that the game will offer. One of the features about the weapons that I really like is the ability to level the weapons up and the individual weapon skill trees that allow you to customize it with additional effects.

      And looks like some of the weapons have diverging skill trees that will allow you different options for customizing it. I heard they'll also be incorporating combat levels for armor too, as well the ability to change the color of the armor.

    • Destiny

      TITLE: Destiny || DEVELOPER: Bungie || PUBLISHER: Activision || GENRE: FPS, Co-Op, MMO || SYSTEM: Playstation & XBox

      From the Wiki:

      Premise: Destiny is set seven hundred years into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting following a prosperous period of exploration, peace and technological advancement known as the Golden Age.In a universe where humans have spread out and colonized planets in the Solar System, an event known as "the Collapse" saw the mysterious dissolution of these colonies, the end of the Golden Age, and mankind teetering on the brink of extinction. The only known survivors of the Collapse are those living on Earth, who were saved by "the Traveller", a white, spherical celestial body whose appearance centuries before had enabled humans to reach the stars. The Traveller now hovers above the last remaining human city, and its presence allows the "Guardians of the City"—the last defenders of the human race—the ability to wield an unknown power, only referred to as "The Light".

      Upon mankind's first attempt to repopulate and reconstruct after the Collapse, it is discovered that hostile alien races have occupied mankind's former colonies and civilizations and are now encroaching upon the City. The player takes on the role of a Guardian of the City, and is tasked with investigating and destroying these threats before humanity is completely wiped out.

      Characters:
      Destiny will center around the journey of the Guardians, the last defenders of humanity, set to protect Earth's last city. Guardians will be divided into three distinct races: Humans, Awoken, and Exo. Humans are described as being relatable, tough, and uncomplicated. Bungie drew its inspiration for the Human race from the military, and the character designs and aesthetics of the Spartans present in their Halo franchise. Awoken, described as exotic, beautiful, and mysterious, were inspired by fictional depictions of elves, vampires, ghosts, and angels. Exo are described as being sinister, powerful, and tireless. Exo were inspired by the undead, Halo's Master Chief, and the titular character of The Terminator. The playable races will be purely cosmetic and will have no effect on the game mechanics of Destiny.

      Players will also be able to choose a "class" to go alongside their race. There are three classes available to players in Destiny: Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans. Hunters are a reconnaissance-based class meant to be reminiscent of the classic "bounty hunter." Bungie cites as influences Star Wars's Han Solo and classic characters from old Western films such as Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name. Warlocks combine weapons with special powers from "the Traveler", and are meant to be a form of "space wizard". The Warlock class is influenced by the Star Wars series' Jedi Knights, The Lord of the Rings series' Gandalf, and The Matrix series' Morpheus. Titans, which favor heavy weapons and melee attacks and are intended to be reminiscent of the classic "future soldier", were inspired by Bungie's own Halo Master Chief, Stormtroopers from Star Wars, and other "space marines" from science fiction.

      E3 2014 Experience Trailer:

      The Alpha for Destiny was released Thursday and having played it, I could not seem to find a thread to talk about how awesome it is, so here is that thread. Basically, this is a FPS/Co-op/MMO game that allows you to team up with other players to explore and go kill stuff! And it's gorgeous!

      Right now, I am playing the Titan class and enjoying punching enemies' faces in. Currently L5. So far, the controls feel smooth and intuitive, and of course, the environments are very pretty. The game gives you a well-balanced variety of controls and options without making you feel overwhelmed. There is a Level 8 cap on the Alpha, but some of the enemies go to Level 20-ish (that I've seen), so you might want to stay away from those unless you have a bunch of players with you, because they basically grounded me into dust. The game can definitely be challenging!

      The game matches you up with players, or you can join up with your buddies (if they're playing the Alpha as well), or you can ditch your team and try to go at it alone (which I think is harder and less fun). This game has a story, but the Alpha doesn't show too much of that at this time, so we'll have to see how Campaign mode comes along. And apparently you can do PvP, make Clans, and whatnot. I haven't delved too deeply into that yet, but seems like there's lots to do, and that's a very good thing. This game will be released September 9th, 2014.

      I have to admit this game was kind of underneath my radar until I actually started playing the alpha–and man, it's a lot more fun & immersive that I expected. For those who have had a chance to play the alpha so far, what Class(es) have you tried and what did you think? For those who haven't gotten a code, you can check #DestinyAlpha on Twitter for people who are giving away codes.

      "Sorry for the confusion! We're still in early planning stages and will share more at a later date," added Ono.

      well, they clarified that pretty quick, haha

      Still curious on how they plan to develop a fighting game that will, in their words:

      "We'd like to steer away from making the next game such that skilled players will win, but unskilled players will lose almost instantaneously," Tsujimoto said.

      Because getting a beat-down because you're competing against more skilled players is kind of how fighting games work, lol. Becoming skillful in a fighting game takes practice and if you do not have the time/discipline/attitude to learn how to get better at the game, well….maybe fighting games aren't for you? But of course that's not what a business wants to hear. Maybe they going to have some sort of Simple Mode, like in MvC3.

      Making it "more accessible for newcomers" is a very dubious thing to hear from a company like Capcom. If they're able to incorporate that tenuous idea in such a way that doesn't make it every bit as questionable as it sounds, it'll be some kind of miracle.

      @Pris: Neat, I'll definitey take one. I won't be back on until tomorrow, though–had some slow breeding luck tonight (took forever to get a specific ability/nature/spread) and I'm kinda Poke'd-out.

      @Akeem: Got your 5IV Careful Technician Scyther with egg moves! It's a male, but if you'd prefer a female, I can do that too. If you're on tomorrow, it's yours. Would you like it nicknamed? 🙂

      Sure, I'll take a Alomomola if it has Regenerator (female if you have one). Otherwise, I'll take one of those flawless Poilwags.

      And that's cool, I won't be on until later tonight or tomorrow myself. No rush

      Another thing is the Technician ability. And don't worry about Metal Coats. I've got one.

      I gotta get ready for work now, but I'll be around this evening.

      I know, right? I got lucky on some trades on a private server that I'm a member of. I even got a shiny Mew out of the deal. Oh, happy day~ ;u;

      And great, I'll add you! Also, I came upon a 4IV Scyther with egg moves in my box (Endure/Baton Pass/Counter/Reversal) that I forgot I had there, so I'll throw him to my 6IV Ditto and see if I can get a 5/6 IV Careful Technician. Hopefully I'll have that done by tonight or tomorrow, depending on how lucky I get with the nature/ability.

      And Pris, I have your Jolly fatty Swinubs. Did you want a male or female? I'd love another cloned pokeball Vivillon if you have one, or one of the remaining legendaries on my list (Jirachi, Manaphy, Meloetta). Doesn't matter if they're hacked, cloned, ect. But if you don't have any of that, I'll still give it to you. :3

      This was a really solid episode, and had some of the best fighting in the show this season. I wasn't so sure at first about an all-Wall episode, thought the pace might drag or something, but it was much better than I had expected. The fight choreography was tight and the stakes felt legitimately high. Sam being all badass was cool–hell, I was even rooting for Alliser, and I hate that guy.

      ! Too bad about Pyp and Grenn. And Ygritte too, figured the writers would set up potato boy as her killer, so that wasn't much of a surprise.

      Also, those giants were metal as fuckkk

      @Hiroy:

      I have like three Arceus left, and a couple of Victini.

      I'll hand you those, but for nothing special… Although....

      A 5/6 IV Scizor/Syther with Careful nature would be really damned nice.

      Cool, I'll definitely take an Arceus if you have one to spare! And I'm sure I can breed a 5 or 6 IV Scyther with that nature (although I don't have an extra Metal Coat, sorry). What's your FC?

      @Prismeru:

      What nature are the Swinubs? Do they have thick fat? Also, Tangela has Regenerator?

      Swinubs are Jolly, although I could probably breed whatever nature you'd like. They have Snow Cloak, but I do have a female with Thick Fat that I may be able to breed those egg moves into with a little time. The Tangelas do indeed have Regenerator.

      Also, after some afternoon trading, I have updated my list of legendary pokemon that I still need. If anyone has those, let me know 🙂

      Jirachi
      Arceus
      Manaphy

      Hey Pris, could I grab one of those Vivillons too, please? I'm fond of that pattern. I have a box full of 5 & 6 IV Honedges and Absols with egg moves from a breeding project, and can probably whip you up a 5/6 IV Scyther/Scizor if you need one. Or if there's something else you're looking for, let me know and I'll check to see if I have it (or can breed it). 🙂

      Yeah, and there's nothing really even noteworthy about Gregor's character other than his size and brutality, in both the books and the show. His purpose is pretty much rape > kill > repeat, and to cause tension between other characters. He's more of a weapon than anything else. There are better, more complex antagonists in the series, so the story doesn't waste much screentime on him. Having a different actor portray him for each of the 3 seasons he's in doesn't help, either.

      @bepo:

      if you know there is an enemy camp behind your lines, but you dont have the men to fight them, you at least try to know their movements, More so if you know they want to ataack the wall from the other side. Its not ideal to spread your men. But with the big ass horn they have, they can easely call back the guards.

      The Night's Watch already knows their movements. They know the wildling raiders are approaching from the south as well as Mance's larger army from the north because Jon already told them. And they already know the attack on Mole's Town and the surrounding villages is an attempt to bait the NW out of Castle Black, to leave it even more poorly defended and also to lure as many soldiers as they can to a terrain where the wildlings have an advantage, the open field. Also, the wildlings are generally ambush attackers and they have numbers on their side. The NW wouldn't be able to call back guards that are dead. Choosing to stay put is a hard choice to have to make, and it's a decision that doesn't sit well with a lot of the Brothers, but they just don't have the manpower to spare right now. Their duty, first and foremost, is to protect the Wall.

      @Lady:

      Sansa's transformation was very well done, and she looked awesome as she was about to leave with Lord Baelish.

      I agree. It's was a fine segue into what I hope will be a smarter, more confident Sansa transitioning from "piece" to "player," learning how to play the game of thrones. She certainly couldn't ask for a better tutor in Petyr, even though he is a creeping bastard. The thought of her mastering court intrigue, and then possibly turning that knowledge against Petyr, is simply delicious.

    • RE: Your Most Recent Albums

      Snapped up a few albums over the weekend:

      Kenna - "Land 2 Air Chronicles II: Imitation is Suicide" - My first album from this artist and inspired by the essay "Self Reliance" by Ralph Waldo Emerson, it's a very smooth blend of electronic and R&B. "

      " is a particularly strong track and was the song that prompted me to download the rest of the albums. The title track, "
      ," is also quite good.

      Lourde - "Pure Heroine" - Wasn't sure if I'd like her music, but after listening to a few songs at a friend's house, I decided to check the rest of the album out and was pleasantly surprised to find it far more enjoyable than expected. It's youthful music, but there is a certain elegance to it. It's an album to smoke a few cigarettes to.

      Drive - Original Soundtrack - I am about obsessed with this film (which is fantastic and also the inspiration for Hotline Miami - check out both if you haven't already) and the soundtrack is also wonderfully enjoyable, with a rich, colorful 80s vibe, very Italo Disco at times. Noteworthy tracks include "

      ," "
      ," and "
      ."

      The Glitch Mob - "Love Death Immortality" - After listening to their absolutely magnificent album, "Drink the Sea," I was hyped to learn they released a new album back in February. It's very high-energy and, unlike DtS, much more vocal-focused, but I feel some of the tracks tinge on the generic at times. I have to admit, this album doesn't impress me as much, although it's still quite good and worth a purchase if you enjoy electronica (although if it comes down to it, I'd recommend buying "Drink the Sea" over this). Good driving music, especially if you need to wake up.

      @BigLuffy559:

      Are these "Season Pass" things worth it? Should I buy the Watch Dogs season pass? The way I understand things, if you buy the season pass, you get any and all DLC content they release in the future, and that's great if they release a bunch of cool DLC, but what's stopping them from releasing like one dinky extra mission that isn't worth the $20?

      Definitely no guarantees for the quality of the DLC releases, so if you're worried about that, or just not sure in general if the season pass will be worth your money, I'd recommend just waiting until the extra content is released and seeing how you feel about it then. Maybe read some reviews & watch gameplay videos of the DLC and if it seems cool, get the pass or, like Rogue suggested, cherry-pick the content that you'd like to have. And who knows, you may not even still be interested in the game by then. It happens.
