@RobZilla:
It is a pretty odd time limit.
With the cage moving inward at that pace, it gives people a pretty good chance to simply run away from the cage for a while and avoid being injured.
I assume that Doffy will be able to speed up the contraction if he wishes.
Either that, or this fight is going to go to Doffy/Luffy will be disabled again in some manner, to set up a final battle with a real and pressing time limit.
That's even more concerning though, considering how many times this fight has false started already.
Exactly my thought. Either the fight is actually going to actually take almost an hour to finish, which is insane because the Island is full of people that could go after Flamingo in said time limit, even on foot, the birdcage is going to start contracting faster, which makes me question why would Doffy use such a arbitrary long time limit in the first place, or Luffy is getting beaten/disabled here, which is terrible pace wise, especially since as an Arc Villain, Doffy can't be beaten by anybody but Luffy.
This is deeply disturbing, when I think about it's implications…

@Tangaroa:
It's not like anyone has anywhere else they can go though. Sooner or later Birdcage contracts and we get 'Doflamingo Presents: Dressrosa: Will It Blend?'.
I mean it's not like the guy is a nihilist/ sadist with psychopathic tendencies or anything.
They can go to him. And beat him up…
I know Fuji had little presence in this arc after Birdcage went up, but that does not justify completly ignoring he is there.
Unless you are arguing he is going to let Doffy kill everybody, including himself, while going "Duuuuh, I'm going to have so much evidence against him when he kills us all, I'm so smart."?
