Hey gets me pumped, seems like it's taken from the soundtrack of a nasty boss fight against an overpowered female villain, since it has slight Skull Girls vibes to me.
Loving the mix of industrial, metal and the female vocals, my fav part starts at 1:29 with the way they distorted the voice. Would have wished for a lil bit more variety but since it's a VG soundtrack I assume it's valid that it keeps the same level of Pumped Up-ness. Will look into this game, first time hearing of this game series.

Are there resources to get into ethical investments? For me ethical investments include trolling the hell out of Wall Street in their own game, but mostly I mean investment that does not kill or exploit humans and animals, directly or indirectly. I know it's probably a paradoxical question, with how capitalism works in its core. But I know "ethical" banking exists, maybe the same resources exist for stock exchange.

Thanks to Trump I have trained myself into a zen-like state of mind when it comes to passive-AGGRESSIVE hypernationalist politics, but our Boi Bibi still manages to trigger the everliving shit out of me. I gotta respect him for that, for pulling of blatant human rights violations right in front of our eyes and still remaining in his position of militaristic power trips. Everything neat and interesting Eva did, in terms of changing the genre and deconstruction and character arcs and being dark but hopeful and cool fight scenes and good music…

Modoka Magica did it WAY better in way less time and with a much stronger ending.

Madoka is a great show in its own regard, but it completely washed over any parts that made Eva fascinating to me as an adulting teenager back in the day (which is ok, since Madoka primarily dealt with kid protagonists, even the blatant gore and violence didn't really change the kiddy themes for me). Madoka had shock value, it had characters who were forced to engage with their own egotism and the series was incredible in reframing the selflessness of the charactes into the fullblown narcissism it actually was.

But Eva approached adult themes, sexual and otherwise, and metaphorically blew a hot, steamin' load straight into my face and forced me to say "Thank you, Daddy" afterwards. It's not comparable. Madoka is still a little baby in comparison. I agree Eva is all over the place and would have been a much better show with a tight writing but it's still waaay up there. And another thing where the two shows differ: I don't know where you ever got it from, that Eva was a hopeful show and that's why Madoka will always remain Eva's edgy, but hopeful little sister, that's waaay too deep into cosplay.

I just got approved for gender affirming surgery. It's not GRS, but it's something I've been very sensitive about for a long time that I don't know if I want to specify thanks to that sensitivity but I have a SURGERY DATE so I'm getting it fixed!!

A very basic thing you can do is start singing. Get some music you like, for extra motivation. Pick out music with a slightly higher pitch than your natural voice. Try to sing along. I'll see if I can find resources. All the best, girl. It's a tough journey, but don't give up.

I can accept and love people that like it, but I will never understand the appeal.

I love the idea of this thread, i follow the fashion world casually, as it is its own expression of art. But I don't know any names. Personally I always dress in a very subdued manner, but conceptually I love fashion. I get a lot of French and Korean fashion, but what is getting my attention a lot at the moment is fashion from marginalised voices.
