My theory is that two of the universes will have an equal amount of survivors and the plot evloves into a traditional tournament. Though I doubit it.

RE: Chapter 853: Not Here!!!
I think Brook may have got the Poneglyph rubbing and hid it in his most sacred hiding place. In his skull with the dial of "Bink's Sake." I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't the case, but I feel like that is the one place no one would think to look. Hence there was nothing in his clothes, leaving the discovery later to be a surprise.

RE: Pokémon ORAS and Spinoffs: We Go!
The thing about the renaming, its best to rename the Pokemon, close out the entire app, and relaunch to ensure that the names stuck in the servers. I've used it reliably for a while now.

RE: Chapter 811 : Roko
Year of Sanji my ass. Just another 1-2 years of Sanji being separated from the crew and being absent from the story. Meanwhile we will learn some convoluted story about his past that convinces sunshine pumpers that Sanji is still a part of the story despite being absent from the main crew for anywhere from 3 to 5 years….. Heck, at Oda's current pace of making new chapters, Sanji could be missing for 3 years...
Oda says some BS about next year being the year of Sanji. I call BS, it can't be the year of Sanji with him being locked up and captured by Big Mom and being rescued like a Damsel is Distress. He might as well be one of the weak princesses from Alabasta, Fishman Island, and Dressrosa.
I don't see anything but Oda continuously screwing over Sanji fans or just fans of seeing the whole crew together. Oda is a liar and doing the exact opposite of what most fans wanted. The one thing I and many other fans did not want to happen was a Sanji rescue arc. Then Oda does the stupid thing and does a Sanji rescue arc and keeps him separated from the crew for even longer. Meanwhile Sanji will no longer get any stronger and will be his same weak self that lost his last few fights and is a weakling. I guess its time for Jinbei to take his place in the crew ( part of the big 3). Bye Sanji.
WTF Oda?
Okay then, let's not have anything to do with Sanji and learn about everything the crew did in two pages of pure dialogue. I find the flashback brilliant within the story itself. Its a good way at building the story of the Minkmen without a jarring story a few weeks back. We get to learn what happened to crew B as Crew A does. Plus I'm interested in Sanji's background and it is pretty awesome a character that most consider one of the best of the crew is going to get more about his life shown. When we first had Sanji join the crew, we just saw his interactions with Zeff when they were stranded, which was great. But now we get a shot of seeing more of his background before that. I for one am excited for it. I don't feel like this is screwing over. While Sanji hasn't had the greatest moments the last years, we are now getting a part of the story that he will be the center of. I'm excited to see where this unfolds and trust in Oda's story telling. So far Zou has got me more invested than Dressorosa did.

RE: Chapter 793: The Tiger and The Dog
It's been hours since the swirly brows first saw Big Mom's ship we don't know what could have happened since then, if Big Mom does end up being Lola's mother then there is a chance the they've become friends for now. Also Capone referred to the Strawhats as friends so maybe he's working to help the swirly brow pirates. Though he might also just be saying it sarcastically.
'
I think the Capone pirates will be working for Big Mom and if anyone comes to help the Swirly brow pirates, it would probably be the longer absent Law crew. That's my take on the current situation.

RE: Pokemon X & Y
I'm listing my favorites except for the new ones, as I still haven't got to play with them and don't have an opinion aside from just pure looks.
Sceptile>Meganium>Venusaur>Torterra> Serperior
I don't really hate any of the grass starters, though none of them really blow me away.Charizard>Typhlosion>Blaziken>Emboar>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Infernape
Fire types are usually my favorite of every generation… and then there is Infernape. I just hate that bugger with a passion. There is no other starter that I dislike as much as him. The rest fall just by preference lead by Charizard being my first starter and favorite Pokemon (though I like Typhlosion's evolutionary line more than the Charizard line). I'm surprised I like Emboar as much as I do. He's almost equal with Blaziken, but I enjoy Blaziken just a bit more.Feraligatr>Blastoise>Swampert>Samurott=Empoleon
Water types are always neat. Feraligatr barely takes first place, Blastoise is awesome, Swampert is one of my favorite typings (Water/Ground), Samurott and Empoleon I don't like as much as their designs go off a bit of the deep end and I never really enjoyed them quite as much. -
RE: Pokemon X & Y
I'm still not sure about Delphox, this pic here with Braixen evolving seems more real to me.
Evolution Image is fake though. The Spoiler Features a Bulbasaur evolving into a Ivysaur with the new animation.

RE: Pokemon X & Y
Here are the ones that will be on my team at some point in the game.
[hide]
I usually only use Pokemon that are introduced in the games and I didn't plan on using any of the Pokemon with Mega Forms we got… untill this guy got his upgrade. As soon as I saw Mega Charizard I was taken back to being 6 years old and playing Pokemon for the first time.
Fire/??? (Hopefully Psychic or Fairy) I always use the Fire Starter but with this game they strong armed me with Mega Charizard. I'm hoping Fennekin gets a second typing to make it a seperate entity from Charizard. If it become a Psychic type it will at least give me Psychic coverage. Secretly hoping for Fairy second typing.
Grass/??? Not going to lie, I'm currently not sure if I will have Fennekin. This guy has started to win me over more after his evolution. Just something about him. I don't want to break tradition, but they're making it hard not to. I need to see final evolutions.Fighting/Dark. Its a panda… that is all... I really got nothing else... He'll last most of the game if not all of it.
Flying/Dragon. I always loved Dragon types and I really dig this guy. His design is just awesome and I look forward to using him.
Water… My name is Charles and I love crustacean Pokemon...
Ghost/Steel. I really dig this guy and love his design. I have a feeling though he won't evolve or might be very gimmicky to get. That was the thing that kept me from Spritomb for so Long.
Rock/Dragon. Not going to lie, I liked Tyrunt, but thought to myself, "Eh, It's evolution won't be all that great." As soon as I saw this guy, I fell in love. I love his design and can't wait to Rock out with him!
Electric/Normal. This one is very dependent on if the rumors of an Electric/Dragon evolution are real. I like it alright, but I don't think I'll use it if it doesn't evolve. As a whole Charizard is the only one I know will be in my final Party. Pangoro and Tyrantrum might have broke through, but we have yet to see. I'm bummed though, I love all the Fire types this gen (looking at you Talonflame and Pyroar) but I already have two that might be on my party. Its so hard.

RE: Pokemon X & Y
In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, it's not Professor Sycamore who gives you your first Pokémon. Instead, when you receive a Pokémon from the professor, you'll be able to choose from Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle! These Pokémon were the first three Pokémon you could start your adventure with in Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version, released in North America in 1998, the very beginning of the Pokémon series! And now you'll be able to include them in your party once again.
From the X and Y site. The Kalos starters will be given to the player by a friend and Sycamore will be giving the player a classic starter. It might be later in the game, but I expect we will get them before the Elite Four, due to the big deal they are making about them.

RE: Pokemon X & Y
While Mega Charizard isn't Fire/Dragon, I'm still pumped for him. His stats are going to be boosted (Higher Special Attack and Speed for sure), Drought Boosting his Fire moves and allowing him to fire off Solarbeam instantly. I'm very excited and I love his design. I'm totally pumped that I'll have a Charmander as a second starter. Fennekin and Charmander will own Unova region.
Mega Blastoise is quite awesome as well and I do have a soft spot for Mega Venusaur (the flower just makes him). I'm quite pleased with the Mega Evolutions of the classic starters and glad they are going to be given a boost in the stats department.

RE: Channel Awesome, AVGN, and other web review shows
Rachel herself had a pretty good singing voice and Malcom was able to get by. Most of my problems come from the actual parody. Personally as a whole the musical bits felt lesser than Moulin Rouge to me. The orchestration for the music could have been done better, but I remember in the actual film it was also toned down from Broadway. One big song and the final number all worked well though, the rest of them were a little hard to sit through. Linkara's voice isn't bad, but his number would have been good with actual voice training. BrentalFloss was imitating Russel Crowe, so I don't know if I really should have problem with it… meh... Paw and Maven pulled off their song fine, but I didn't really care much for it and I think I used that time to reheat chili. All in all, it was a fun review, but felt like it was trying to ride on Moulin Rouge's coattails and a tad uninspired. I liked it, but I really feel like more could have been done.
On a happy note, Last Airbender is next and I'm excited to see Doug rip into that abomination.

It seemed charming. I'm going to look into it more. I'm not completley sold yet… just very close to being sold (Damn Disco Zombies).

RE: E3 2013
I personally hope Sony makes better choices with their Console pricing this time around. But they have been really bad about over pricing themselves. If they come out at $399, I think they can manage more than XBone, but I have a feeling in my gut they will price at $499 as well.

RE: The Monet Problem: An Arlong Park Wager
I voted Dead. I don't believe she is literally dead, but her character growth will be 'dead' after this arc until she makes a return in either cover stories or future arcs.

RE: Pokemon Black And White 2
In regards to the topic of favorite and least favorite Generations, my top two are I and V. I is mostly there for nostalgic reasons, but I also have some of the most fun going back to it. I find it very enjoyable and it hardly has any Pokemon I don't like. It was very enjoyable for me and I love it. I also consider Gen V on of my favorite generations for the fact that it is a complete fresh start. It was a bit of a nostalgia rush for me, in the fact it was just like a new adventure. All of the Pokemon were new and provided an excellent adventure.
Now for least favorites generations. I will be the first to admit that Generations II and IV are add-on generations. While they both introduced new Pokemon, they also added evolution and preevolutions for many Pokemon from previous Generations. Though Generation II I enjoy much more than IV. I find many of the Pokemon in Gen IV to be boring or just awful. None of the starters really stood out to me, and I hate Infernape with a passion. Generation II, while I will admit, is not as good to our current standards, back in the day it was revolutionary as an addition and no other Generation has quite met up to the legacy it left aside from its remake. No other Generation has opened up a whole other region for us to go out and explore.
Generation III? Gave us cool Pokemon and the most stupid enemy teams ever. It, like I and V, were mostly new Pokemon with only two preevolutions added and I greatly enjoy many of them. Yet I felt like the villain motivations were quite stupid and I also felt like the region as a whole was mostly bland. A third of the region was water, and the other areas didn't really stand out much to me. Also Contests I never felt real strongly about. I found them enjoyable at first, but I realized that they weren't all that great the more I did them. Though I still enjoyed the Pokemon and it was a fun ride, if tedious at times (but in the end all Pokemon games are a bit tedious). It was a bit of a step back from Gold and Silver, but I still enjoyed them.
On a bit of a speculative note, since some think Gen VI might be on the horizon, I believe that the next generation will be similar to IV in the regards that we will get more evolutions for previous lines. The only bearing I have is that the Odd generations (so far) have added more new Pokemon and the Even Generation (in the two instances we have) have added more Pokemon to preexisting lines. Yet this is purely speculation and we still may be a year or so away from the next generation.

I have realized, Spoony's group is the stronger of the two in my opinion. I like Doug and the rest of them, but Spoony's group works better in the whole dynamics and comedy. I hope Doug's group gets rolling, seems they are the furthest from the action.

RE: Pokemon's Fifth Generation
@Zoro's:
Wow. I just caught Cobalion in a Quick Ball.
I've been having amazing luck with legendaries lately.
Edit: I also just now caught Virizion within five Ultra Balls. I swear the catch rate for legendaries is higher…
I caught all three with hardly using 10 regular Pokeballs easy… though I think it was mostly dumb luck.

Also, does anyone know what Trainer Natures do? I think they are just for show (since you can change them on the Trainer Card) but I was not sure.

Got Black and White, been playing Black with Fuego, the Quirky Tepig whom often scatters things. I was thinking of naming him CrispyBacon, but that seemed cruel.

Brooke 33 mil
Sogeking 30 mil
Franky 44 mil (though his was also obscured from view as was Zori's so it might have raised) -
RE: Young Justice RETURSN OMG
i think it would be pretty funny if they killed off robin and replaced him with tim drake just to mess with our heads
At least it wouldn't be Jason Todd.

RE: Happy Valentine's 2011
Valentine's Day is a nice day. I'm sad that we didn't have choir today, otherwise I would have gotten all the girls a rose.
Also Valentine's Day is the day my Grandfather died. Like my parent he was.

RE: Dragon Age 2
Flemeth is going to be a bigger part of the story, but yeah, she's not part of the party.
lol at the Bioware boards. People are arguing heavily over who the designated LIs are. I'm thinking it's pretty obvious that the LIs are going to be Isabella, Merril, Anders, and Fenris. A human and an elf for each gender. (although who's the bi one is still up in the air).
And dammit they had BETTER make Sebastian an LI. I don't care if he's DLC. Do you know how many DLC they could sell if the DLC character was romancable!?
! After the three way you could do Isabella in the first game, I say she is bi.

RE: Go Go Power Rangers… to Krispy Kreme!
Great!
I do wish he'd "bulked" up though. It was cool to see fat Bulk when he was…woah, 1993 was almost 20 years ago!-but he should be working out and be buff by now, that would be pretty cool. Could still be silly and slapstick but if the bad dudes try to kick him around they get broken hands.
*Us fat people need fat people in media to look up too! Don't try to convert us! You already tricked Drew Carey (backstabbing traitor).
-
RE: Go Go Power Rangers… to Krispy Kreme!
I just finished watching the premiere. It was a tad lack luster and lacking. Personally, I like that Bulk is back with his nephew, though I wanted to know the origin behind 'Sensei Bulk', being that newer audiences whom never heard of Bulk are like, who the heck is this fat guy that is being used for slapstick comedy.
The Ranger's origins I care a little less about, yet I would be good to at least know what we are dealing with and get a general introduction to the characters, or at least their archtypes. The Red Ranger annoyed me a bit, yet I don't quite know why. Same for the yellow ranger at the end, but I think it is because she sounded like a stereotypical blonde.
The Zord, while I hate the individual zords, the Megazord has a interesting design that just grabbed me at first instant. I can't really place it, though I guess because it has more of a normalish zord built (Robot A-Torso, Robot B-Right Arm, Robot C-Left Arm, Robot D-Right Leg, Robot E-Left Leg), compared to more complex buildings of zords seen in later seasons ala Magic Force (though this is just a nitpicky moment).
Also, the villains are unknown to me. Why are they powered by tears (which is awesome mind you)? I really wish to know this. This is why I hate origin episodes being skipped!
Fight scene was stereotypical special monster that can only be beat with special tactic. Be around for ages, didn't matter to me much.
All in all, it was an alright episode, but it would have been better in some sort of context. They could have done a two episode world premiere in order to get the first two out of the way and allow me to at least understand a bit about these 5 teenagers. Also, the theme song is some nice nostalgia I believe, though the vocalist annoyed me a bit.
Also, the episode for those who wish to see it.

RE: Dragon Age 2
! anders? who is that. Looked and don't recall no other gray warden besides duncan, alistar and the 2 that die in the ritual.
! i recal a mage from the mage story line that you do in the origin part that seemed a chicken. but don't recal any other gray wardens! He is a companion you can recruit in Dragon Age Origins: Awakenings.

RE: Pokemon's Fifth Generation
Just a tiny whiny post, why the fuck did they change Shell Blade to Razor Blade and Nitro Charge to Flame Charge and even Boiling Water to Scald urgh…the names were much better and made a lot more sense in the original japanese, they take the trouble to give the attacks an english name already, just for it to be translated anyway, they should just stick with japanese names so their kids dont have to wonder what the fuck Nitro Charge means.
I do like Evil Eye being Hex now its cool(even though its a giant purple eye but its an hexing so it makes sense) and Bursting Flame being Flame Burst.
I saw in an article that the team that translated this game isn't the same as before, they changed the company or wtv, they are probably the ones responsible for Unova, Unfeazents, etc, the preview team always kept the region names.
Shell Blade is the only one that really annoys me. Though Nitro Charge sounded a lot cooler. Scald, eh.

RE: Chapter 613:"The Mermaid Princess in Koukaku Tower" Discussion
They are scribbles. But the bounty poster are hardly ever updated without a rise in the bounty
We don't have a solid case for that. The only updated picture we have ever seen was Robin. This is purely speculation at this point.

RE: Chapter 613:"The Mermaid Princess in Koukaku Tower" Discussion
Read the chapter, liked it quite a bit.
Thought the princess was kinda cute at first, then I noticed that her tail was split and that meant that a 30 year old woman was acting like that.
Loved that Ussop and Nami looked badass in their first panel.
Also loved how sinister Zoro looked when he made the scene. Her tail isn't split, its just the motion blur.
-
RE: Chapter 613:"The Mermaid Princess in Koukaku Tower" Discussion
Right color or different scarred eye is one thing but Oda drew the Kabuto completely differently, not arguing just saying I think it's a safe bet he has more than one.
As for switching weapons on the fly, that has been Usopp's whole deal since day one. Rubber Bands, flash dials, egg ammo, pepper ammo, impact dials, fake hammers. It goes on and on so how does switching Kabutos not make sense?
@ Gerri, it speaks of Wapometal! Awesome forshadowing for sure!
I know its the "Black Kabuto" I just referring having multiple ones seem overkills. He developed a newer model nothing wrong with that. I also know Usopp has always switched on the fly, yet switching from Black Kabuto to 'Slightly off Pink Kabuto' to 'Lime Puke Green Kabuto' would sorta be a little overkill to me. Now switching from a 10 pound hammer to a 1000 pound hammer is a different story.
-
RE: Chapter 613:"The Mermaid Princess in Koukaku Tower" Discussion
That'd be impossible to be a rule, actually. Everyone in the crew loves Chopper like their youngest brother (and emergency food supply).
I know what you were getting at, and I'm not complaining.
He's also a Doctor!
!
I wanted to find a picture involving Chopper saying he was a man… but this had to do.I also agree, Carue should have atleast joined. I miss that duck.
Usopp must have more than one Kabuto now. As I pointed out around page 5 the first one he used on the falling magma was much different. I doubt Oda would change it's design like that accidentaly.
http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-607/page009.html
It's black in this picture too.
http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/90932202/15
I doubt that Oda decided to give Usopp multiple Kabuto's. I don't know how that would make sense… he would constantly have to switch weapons to attack. He isn't Mr. Swiss-Army knife that's Franky.
It is possibly safe to say that Oda forgot the right color when making the color spread. It's not the only time he has been wrong concerning a color spread.
I give you exhibit A:! Zoro's scarred Eye
