    • RE: Chapter 603: "Keep it in Your Heart" Discussion

      @HikaruYami:

      I feel like you failed to read his post correctly because he's a Nov10, but it's possible you just don't understand physics-related words =.="

      The drag force he was referring to means that the particles impede ships' movement, not let it happen. If there were literally no particles in space (and the universe could still exist without all matter exploding from diffusion–oh, wait, that already happened, and that's why there are particles in space), then a ship, once far enough out of notable gravitational fields, could be propelled once. And that would, eventually, make it travel an infinite distance at a constant rate.

      That doesn't happen.

      Or maybe English is not my main language therefore I don't understand some ENGLISH physics-related words.

      I reread it and now I understand what he meant. For a moment I thought he was talking about propelling ships in space. But it's still true some parts of space are a complete vacuum. Not all of it of course. Therefore, said drag force is ridiculously low.

      Oh and I didn't even notice his join date. Like I care…

      @murderedboy:

      That is just wrong. Space does have Particles/atoms or whatever you want to call it. The number is just ridiculously low, like 1-10 per cubic cm or something? I don't know the number. I am not trying to say this because of One Piece, just general knowledge.

      If space didn't have any particles/atoms there would be no drag force when the spaceships or objects are moving, however, there are.

      Depends on what part of space we are talking about. There are particles in dust clouds and nebulae and things like that. There are, however, many areas that do not contain any particles as they tend to form "groups" like planets, stars etc due to gravity.

      Also, ships have no need for particles to move. Their movement is based upon that little law that states "every action has an equal and opposing reaction". The engine propels back which in turn propels the ship forward.
      It's a pretty simple concept. Basically, if you shoot stuff in one direction you will move in the opposite direction.

      http://groups.msn.com/OnePieceManga/…&PhotoID=41 9
      Are they swordsmans too?
      Or other countless pirates, are they swordsmans too?

      @AD-HD:

      And you are saying that almost half of pirates are swordsmans, because they carried swords? How stupid is that.

      WTF? You are like the dumbest and the most ignorant person I've ever heard of!

      Could you please look inside your head and see if you have any brains at all????

      @MSN:

      swords·man (plural swords·men)

      noun
      Definition: fighter with sword: somebody, especially a man, who fights with a sword

      swords·man·ship noun

      So am I saying that almost half of pirates are swordsmen, because they carried swords?
      Guess what???.I AM!!! THEY FIGHT WITH THEM.

      Please be a little less dumb in the future.

    • RE: Why the WG wants pluton

      @joekido:

      You were saying that Roger took the Pulton to Raftel and you said that we found out Tom build the Pulton during the Alabasta arc. You mixed up two arcs I'm afried.

      No I didn't.
      You just got it wrong. I said that Tom didn't build it and that it was in Arabasta for centuries.

      EDIT: HO CH***! I tiped that so wrong!!!! Sorry my bad.(goes edit as fast as he cans)

    • RE: Why the WG wants pluton

      @joekido:

      Frist you get all hissy about people not reading the Alabasta arc and clearly you don't really know anything. It never said that Tom build the Pulton, Tom did not build it at all. In Alabasta, it was metioned as a warship that can wipe out the island in one hit. All we know that the royal family kept it hidden for many centuries in Alabasta and it never said that Roger found it and took it to Raftel.

      We did not find out that in Water 7 arc, Pulton was build there many centuries ago and Tom did not build it. Tom build the Oro Jackson for Roger and the Oro Jackson is a differant ship, not Pulton.

      So stop being a wise-ass jerk okay? Get the facts right.

      I'm saying that Arabasta "holds" pluton somewhere, I know that pluton was made in water seven "centuries ago".
      So Tom couldn't possibly have builded it for Roger. (Well, he could with the blueprints but he wouldn't do it anyway).

      EDIT: It's clear that you read it though.

      EDIT 2: Desactualized information.

      @Power:

      Just tell us what we're missing instead of repeating everything over and over please

      THE NEXT FACTS ARE ABOUT THE THEORY!!!!!:(Sorry joekido)

      1-It says that Tom built Pluton. Back in Arabasta, Cobra says to Robin that Arabasta has protected it's true story for centuries.

      2-It also says that Pluton is in Raftel and and that Gol D. Roger used it to reach Raftel. Despite that Pluton being in Raftel "can" be true, it's impossible that Roger used it.

      This information is in the Arabasta Arc.

    • RE: Why the WG wants pluton

      @Fire Fist:

      The reason Crocodile knew of Pluton's existence was because he is a "Dog of the Kaigun" (And yes, that's a alliteration to FMA). As a WG operative pirate and a member of the Seven Armed Seas, Crocodile had access to sensitive information that most pirates don't.

      Now, don't get me wrong. I'm sure Whitebeard, Shanks, and other high-end pirates know what Pluton is, but their desire to rule the world is minimal at best.

      If Dragon cared about Pluton, he'd be the first person to find Robin and seize posession of her. But no, brute force is a Kaigun tactic (As evidenced in Robin's flashback). Dragon wants to send a message, but not using the same tactics of the enemy. That makes you no better than the cause you're trying to overthrow.

      The Kaigun knows one tactic: Intimidation through sheer numbers and brute force. The pirate revolution that Dragon wants is a liberation of sorts: Revolt and resistance to ridiculously brutal tactics.

      And I sugest you read the first post in this threat again.

    • RE: Possible future devil fruits

      @smurfx:

      i think dragon's fruit is the weather fruit. i don't know why many people think it's not that powerful of a fruit when it's easily one of the most powerful. here is some of the things he can do…

      thunder ( he's pretty much the same as enel since he can create thunder under any circumstances since he is the weather)
      tornado's ( if he wanted to destroy a city he could create a huge tornado that would destroy the city in little time)
      wind (he can create huge gust and even slicing wind's that can cause alot of harm to his opponent's)
      tidal waves( he can create huge tidal waves probably even bigger than aqua laguna if he desired and this could be used to drown anybody with a devil fruit and also destroy ship's and city's)

      Very Very true.:ditto:

      @Indigo:

      Who dosnt want Pluton? Its an extreamly powerful weapon so every nation in the world would be interested in it. But right now only the WG knows about the real existence (Franky and Iceburg also) and they have marked it dangerous and tries to getting their hands on it. If some pirate got it, they would be owned.

      Once again I say: Read Arabasta arc!!!
