Basically, this is a crowfunding project for a sci-fi comics miniseries, Rim City, in English and Italian. The authors are Alessandro Apreda and Daniele Orlandini.In my opinion it's an interesting project with top-notch artwork that deserve to be published. (No, I'm not personally involved in the project, I simply like it).
There are 5 days left to reach the goal.

I recently read a piece of news about a second Death Note special, this time focused on Mello and Near, that will be aired in summer

I found this screeshot in an Italian site.

Does someone know something more about?

I usually don't read and don't like fanfics or similar, so I was wondering: is this weird chapter with kid L real? (the drawings seem Obata's ones) :blink:

I thought you were talking about the possibility of another more animated ending, different from the manga….

I sincerely hope they don't do it.
The anime ending already is an alternate manga ending (I admit it, I actually didn't like anime ending: in the last minutes of episode 37, the "poetic" ending, though artistically well done Light and Ryuk are actually out of character).
If they want to re-animate the ending, I would prefer something more loyal to the manga.

However, I also hope they aren't going to do a special with scenes from the anime, I mean a sort of a collage with the anime scenes and some extra new scenes with Ryuk's point of view, just to justify the special itself.
I would prefere something re-animated from the beginning, just like an anime movie.
But maybe I want too much XD

From animenation website:

Mantan Web has revealed that the Death Note anime special scheduled for broadcast on August 31 will be a 3 hour long director's cut of the television series climax featuring new scenes created specifically for the special.

My parents are not divorced, I've never seen them quarrel or fight. They still love and this year they celebrated their 38th anniversary of marriage. Even after the serious health problems that my mother got 12 years ago (she's invalid bacause of a brain stroke. Since then she has a paralyzed arm, needs a stick when she goes out, etc, so she needs help in the everyday life, for example when she cooks), they still love a lot.
