Wow i was reading this at school and listening to "Shuura" (Gintama's 5th ED by Does) and it totally fit the complete anihilation of the strawhats in this chapter. I'm looking forward to next week though….

Wow this book is something i need to own. I don't live near Kino though (Its in NY and i live in MD) So is there a way to get it online or something through Kino or something else? I've already checked Yesasia and they don't have it. So if someone knows where to get it online let me know please!

I think the P2 Robin is cute and the Amano Sanji is awesome, Sorachi's Usopp is just ungodly amounts of win. I thought he'd do Zoro seeing that Hijikata and Zoro are pretty similar personality wise and even have the same VA (Kazuya Nagai) but that Usopp is epic amounts of win so that makes up for it. I thought the Kubo Luffy was a little plain but good nonetheless and the naked crew one scarred me for life (As well as the rest of the people on this thread.)

Yeah i really freaking miss the endings. I read on some japanese sites that the japanese don't like this new endingless One piece, so perhaps they'll learn their lesson and head back to using endings. I loved "Fish" "Shining Ray" and "Memories" and it makes me sad that the LAST ending we had was Adventure World. (Not that its a bad song, but i wouldn't want that to be the last ending for an anime I made.) So i hope Toei wises up.

….although One piece has had a new director ever since around the time Crazy Rainbow started....maybe the new director is to blame?

The instrumental from 2:26 ~ 3:50 (or when everyone is celebrating Luffy's victory.) is one I haven't heard before. So anyone who can post what it's called is very appreciated.

Yeah i second that, i've never heard the song in the series before, but it gave the scene a very "End of Disney movie" sort of feeling. So i'd like to find out what its called.

I don't post much, but this episode has brought back some of my faith in Toei. If they can do more episodes like this i'll begin to believe that perhaps this company can be saved.

I watched it at school on Daily motion so i couldn't get TOO teary eyed but yeah i could feel them coming…..this was such an epic episode on so many levels.

BB doesn't have literally a darkness power, it more like a gravity or black hole power. Ever read Konjiki no Gash? Well, the demon named Brago has a similiar power, its just gravity and gravity can't suck up shadows.

Oh yeah i read Gash so i know about that. Hmm i didn't know it was more gravity based than darkness based…..guess i need to read between the lines :-P but i'm still sticking with my theory until disproved by factual events in the manga. Either way i'm looking forward to Thriller park or Burg...or Bark..

Hmm i might be going a bit too far with this Theory, but here goes…doesn't Blackbeard have a power that has to deal with darkness? Could he steal a shadow if he wanted to? Thats what i was thinking when Brooke mentioned that....plus it doesn't say when his shadow was stolen so....yeah. All in all though a good chapter. My favorite part had to be when Brooke pulled out his guitar or whatever and Luffy is like "WHAT?! you have to join my crew you dumbass!" That was awesome, and i think its not the only time Luffy has addressed a future crewmate like that (Chopper anyone?)

oh and GODA 8000 great avatar. Gintama is probably the only other manga in my eyes that can match One piece in everything. And the fact you combinied both makes it even more awesome
