RE: Orojackson Forum is closing its website
That's unfortunate, it seems like they weren't able to sustain the financials if I'm reading right? Always sad when a fansite gets taken down, but there's plenty of places for them to go.

RE: Chapter 888: Lion
Imagine Inuarashi or Nekomamushi in this "Lion form". They'd probably be Admiral level.

RE: Chapter 885: Grrruuumble
@毛唐人:
soo…. based on the jaiminisbox I get the implication that big mom is gonna pass out from the deliciousness, which will be the sh crew's way of finding a way to flee her territory and avoid her full wrath...
I'm expecting a Soma style food orgasm. Ughh.. actually nevermind I don't want to picture that.

RE: One Piece Chapter 882: Outside of a Yonko’s expectations
Do you really expect Jack to stay on the bottom of the sea for the rest of the series?
Or are you suggesting Drake will side against Kaido in the end? Since he could be one of Calamities and possibly a spy.
I don't think Drake is one of the calamities. Oda has seemingly based Kaido's crew around playing cards. Ginrummy/Sheepshead are different types of card games. And the hierarchy in the crew seems to be based on card rankings. Drake's first name is Diez (10 in Spanish), so he occupies the highest rank below the calamities. We've already been introduced to Jack, which would mean the other two calamities are referred to as 'Queen' and 'King'. With Kaido being the Ace. In the end I do see Drake defecting once he see's the alliance strawhat has built up against Kaido.

RE: One Piece Chapter 882: Outside of a Yonko’s expectations
I dont want to sound rude but - No I cant. It is in your interest to refresh it if you dont remember and not in my interest to use time, send you links to specific pages and prepare explanation for each page. Points were made that Gear Fourth Tankman was said by Cracker to be different than initial transformation - Boundman. Also Nami asked why Luffy is getting so thin so fast after fight with Cracker - Luffy answered that Gear Fourth uses a lot of energy. If Luffy was using Gear4th during their fight he would not build up mass he did got around end of fight. He said he didnt wanted to waste all of what he has eaten.
In my opinion it was clear that after clashing with Craker Luffy knew his haki can hold up Honey Pretzel attacks so he went into tiring Cracker and finishing him with one attack. Namis help made it possible for Luffy not to risk getting heavily wounded. Also what I described above hints at Luffy being able to go around and avoid all of Cracker attacks for entire night using Gear Second at best. Luffy tried to avoid Katakuri same as he probably was avoiding Cracker earlier on but Katakuri ended up as faster more CQC type of a fighter. So right up Luffys alley - their clash will be closer to what Luffy is used to so it could be easier for him to fight Katakuri alone than it would be to fight Cracker. Though if Luffy would absolutely have to win against Cracker and he would not have Sanji to save afterwards he would go for King Kong Gun and high chances win that fight using all he has. Now he is in win or die situation and everyone are presumably "safe" with Sanji willingly getting back to Strawhats Crew.As for difference between Tankman and Boundman blocking ability - piercing attack didnt work on either. Slash to streched arm did. That is main difference- material under haki has to be strong as well - I mean that if someone has rubber body coated in hardening it is like ultra hard paint, it covers but it does not stop full force. Meaning that if material under haki will bend then armor will bend as well. Like thin coating.
Tankman I see as soft version - Luffys haki being cover that prevents from cutting or piercing attacks and Rubber properties playing biggest role. Boundman is like basketball, Tankman is like Beach ball made out of rubber that has also lost a some of air in it. Haki being same in every form- like a paint on material with specific properties.
Cracker combat style I would compare to Doflamingos style when he started using Awakening - so avoiding fight by most part.
I'm probably in the minority on this, but I don't think Gear 4 has different 'forms'. Luffy in tankman mode was still bouncing up and down, which to me just means that he was in Gear 4th 'boundman', but happened to be full and fat so he just called it tankman.

RE: One Piece Chapter 882: Outside of a Yonko’s expectations
I think Luffy is going to stalemate Katakuri in Gear 4, and somehow use Brulee to escape the mirror world before his time limit runs out.
-
RE: Chapter 880: Chance of escape 0%
I guess I fall on the Darth sympathizer side of things. I don't believe he should have been banned. Yes he was annoying at times, but he didn't do anything against the rules as far as I'm concerned.
-
RE: Chapter 880: Chance of escape 0%
@Count:
I'll take that as a compliment, I suppose. XD
Imagine if Darth were still around, I can see you and him having arguments non stop for days on end.
-
RE: Chapter 880: Chance of escape 0%
Damn…. things have not looked this bleak since Sabaody. How the hell are they going to hold Big Mom and Katakuri off for 3 hours? Just how? Luffy only has one use of Gear fourth, and he shouldn't use it immediately imo. He's going to have to come up with a new move or powerup to deal with Katakuri. Jinbei was noticeably absent in the later panels, maybe he has a plan for the wave. I'm also glad to see Sanji being the one who came up with the directions for the cake, just shows everyone how skilled he is on top of his fighting prowess. Best part of all is no break next week, can't wait!

RE: One Piece Chapter 879:One of Big Mom's Three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri.
Mangastream is out if anyone wants to read their version: http://readms.net/r/one_piece/879/4575/1
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 879:One of Big Mom's Three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri.
Cuz the One Piece villains are so cool and well written?
Really? I mean some of them are unique and have cool powers, but I don't see them as any more interesting than the protagonists.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 879:One of Big Mom's Three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri.
At the risk of emotional debate, why is this a thing? I was at another forum today and they were all celebrating Katakuri's supposed "victory". This is a guy that has been beaten, humiliated and bean the risk of dying far more than anyone.
I don't get it either, why do One Piece fans actively cheer for the antagonists so much? I swear this is one of the only fan bases I've seen this happen for.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 879:One of Big Mom's Three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri.
Love that Jinbei speech, he (and Luffy) are the only ones thinking rationally right now. Can't wait to see how they attempt to get away from Big Mom this time.
-
RE: Chapter 877: I'm Not That Sweet
After reading the actual chapter I still don't believe he's dead. Reminds me of Law giving his speech about how the Strawhats will win in the end and believing Doflamingo killed him. I also wish Oda had developed Pedro and Carrot's relationship a little more. The words he was saying to her were good, but the execution wasn't there for me.

RE: Chapter 876 Pudding coincidentially appears
I feel like /r/OnePiece jokes around too much for my liking.
-
RE: Chapter 876 Pudding coincidentially appears
Man, I must be the only person that liked Pudding in this chapter. I agree with others who say she doesn't have a split personality; I really think she's confused with her infatuation for Sanji and her need to side with her family and kill him. Ultimately I think she'll end up good after all is said and done. I also laughed at Sanji's line saying her eye is beautiful when she's angry I think they make a good duo. Outside of that I'm looking forward to seeing how Oda deals with Luffy's problem when he has Katakuri on one side and Big Mom on the other.
-
RE: Chapter 875: A Woman's Honor
I have a dream that one day Sanji will redeem himself and do something bad ass. My evaluation of this arc heavily depends on if Oda executes that or not
If by bad ass you mean help bake a cake in order to appease Big Mom's raging hunger, then yes. Otherwise prepare to be disappointed.
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 874 - King Baum
Having read the chapter, I don't think Pudding is faking it. I think she really cares about Sanji and the Strawhats. It seems genuine to me. The cake theory seems all but confirmed at this point, however I actually don't think Sanji will take part in the cooking and preparation of this cake
-
RE: Chapter 871: "Go Caesar!"
I don't know what kind of resolution you guys are expecting, the strawhats have accomplished their mission in this arc. Nami said so herself last chapter: we've got the Poneglyph, we've helped save the Vinsmokes, there is zero reason to stay on Wholecake, especially after getting owned by Big Mom's crew. They'll use the Chaos of the castle toppling to save Luffy and the others and then get out of there. Maybe they'll have minor skirmishes here and there, but the arc is basically over.
-
RE: Chapter 871: "Go Caesar!"
And yet, it still feels like we have a ton to resolve by the end.
Must resolve:
-The escape
-Pudding, and her past with Lola
-Germa closure, which will likely include more backstory
-A guarantee that Big Mom won't go after Zeff, and/or other Strawhat family members
-Sanji getting "his moment"Other loose ends:
-Commander Snack
-Tamago/Niwatori
-Pekoms
-Pound
-Opera
-Umit, Gibberson and Peclo doing something
-Smoothie doing something
-More Big Mom backstory, we still don't know why she wants so many kids, but no husbandsI'm enjoying the pace of this arc so far, but I don't see how Oda can resolve all of this before 2018 like he promised.
None of that stuff is important right now to the arc, right now it's haul ass and get away from Totland time. This arc is ending in 4-5 chapters IMO. We don't need to see everything, and I'm sure stuff might be answered in Elbaf.
-
RE: Chapter 870: Parting
@Joy:
You didn't answer my question.Would Reiju survive against an attack from those 3 guys ? Also Oda could have just handled it better.Show some Yonko worthy attack, not some east blue level attack. We are told time and time again that BM is strong but visually Oda has simply failed to showcase that.
Dude the straw hats aren't weak enough to look like complete fodder to a Yonko. I think you exaggerate their strength too much. I'm not saying guys like Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji can withstand a full on battle with them. But they are strong enough to at least counter or parry some attacks from them. If you're this upset now, you might lose your mind when Luffy beats Kaido in Wano.
-
RE: One Piece 865: "Hey, Mother"
That panel of Sanji standing on the table over the Vinsmokes is probably the most badass Sanji has looked in this arc. Not a lot of progression in this chapter, but I am excited to see Elbaf. That tree looks gigantic, I wonder what it's all about.
-
RE: Chapter 862: The Intelligent Ones
cracker actually cut g4's arm the moment luffy got near him
Lol that doesn't mean anything, It's been made pretty clear that Luffy is still vulnerable to slashing attacks even though he's still rubber it's blunt force attacks that don't do anything.
And Luffy did KO him with his own strength, he made sure to bait cracker in order to take advantage of his hard crackers the force used to throw him a long distance was all Luffy if a wall had been right in front of him he'd have used that instead. The Luffy disrespect in this forum is ridiculous.
-
RE: Chapter 862: The Intelligent Ones
@Count:
I didn't mean to imply that it was completely impossible for Luffy to defeat Cracker. There might still be a slim chance he could on his own (and I would like to think so if he's going to defeat Kaido in the next arc). And he might have more forms of Gear Fourth up his sleeve. I don't disagree with you at all. He should be on the level of the Yonko Commanders. But the fact he even considered to rely on Nami's help at all perfectly highlights the gap between him and Big Mom.
And regardless of whether he is stronger than Cracker on his own, Sereques is very much right about how fights like this and perhaps an incomplete one with Big Mom will help Luffy grow in time for huge threats like Kaido.
That's true, it just seems like Luffy doesn't get his dues around here. He's stronger than a lot of people here think.
-
RE: Chapter 862: The Intelligent Ones
@Count:
Like, I'm not trying to be mean here. Just answer me one or things. Why do you think it would be good storytelling on Oda's behalf to have Sanji and Jimbei, Straw Hat crewmates who have not shown strength levels on-par with Gear Fourth, respectively defeat Sweet Commanders in an arc where Luffy, the captain could barely defeat one and needed another crewmate's assistance? And why would you think it would be entertaining to have Big Mom be taken down by half the crew, no matter what circumstances are at play, while Kaido requires the whole crew and many powerful allies? I would like to think that if Big Mom went down this early, Kaido's Yonko hype and intimidating goes down by a noticeable margin. By thinking about these questions, you're getting into Oda's head of how to tell an efficient story.
I honestly disagree and think that if Luffy fought Cracker one on one, he would have found a way to close the distance and win, I also think he has something else up his sleeve that he hasn't revealed yet. I know I'm definitely in the minority here, but Luffy should be on a Yonko Commander's level by now in the story, if it turns out he isn't I'm going to be extremely disappointed in Oda. This is the future Pirate King we're talking about here, I'm not expecting him to take down Admirals or Yonko's themselves, but he should be able to put up a good fight with a Yonko Commander with no assistance which I believe he can do. I mean shit if he's not even Yonko commander level why even bother going to Wano? They'd need to continue training instead of wasting time getting fodderized in Wano.
-
RE: Chapter 860: The Party Begins At 10
Yup.
Oda has been watching game of thrones lately. And Jinbe is as honorable as Ned Stark in first season. Watch it if you didnt, if you did you kind of know what I mean.
I don't see any comparisons between Ned Stark and Jinbei? What exactly are you getting at?
-
RE: Chapter 857: Rook
Pretty good chapter, it answered the question I had about Jinbei being cool with Pekoms and Capone. Capone must have a hell of a plan to take Big Mom's head. I think he's convinced some of the underworld brokers to join him. It would be crazy to see Big Mom taken down in this arc.
-
RE: Chapter 854: What Am I Doing
Some of you guys hated Marineford? Damn, I thought that was easily the best arc in One Piece.
-
RE: Chapter 854: What Am I Doing
Not a bad chapter, I'm glad Sanji is finally out of his depressive funk and seemingly back to his old self. Biggest complaint, and I've noticed this a lot in this arc: some of the explanations just seem… too convenient. The Jinbei roulette wheel, the guards mistaking the sleeping guard for Sanji, Sanji's cuffs really being duds, etc. It feels like Oda is rushing this arc, I don't know why he would, but it really feels that way to me.
-
RE: Chapter 851: Tab End
Happy new year. Can't wait to see what this year brings for One Piece, I'm assuming we'll get to Wano near the end of the year.
-
RE: Chapter 850: Ray of Hope
Yeah I agree with everyone, Pudding being truly evil just doesn't make sense based on what we've seen so far in the story. Why was she so afraid of Big Mom when we briefly saw her during the Fishman Island arc? Why did she willingly show the strawhats the path to Whole Cake Island? Why show her reminiscing about Lola being free and doing her own thing? Why draw her crying when she left Luffy and Nami (I refuse to believe those are tears from laughing too hard, that'd be straight BS in my opinion)? I mean if that was all just to misguide the reader from her true nature then I just lost a little respect for Oda. I personally think she might be double agent maybe, or have split personality based on her third eye. She's only acting evil now, but she's really a good person.
-
RE: Chapter 850: Ray of Hope
I'm not a big fan of Pudding's Bond villain-esque musings to Reiju. Why exactly is she doing this to Reiju, and why explain her plan? If Reiju escapes and tells the rest of the Vinsmokes then all hell is going to break loose before the wedding even happens.
-
RE: Oda's Interviews
We've covered a lot in the past 20 chapters, I can easily see this arc ending in 20-25 chapters. I think some of you underestimate how much Oda can accomplish in one chapter. I can't wait till we get to Wano and see Luffy take on Kaido.
-
RE: Chapter 848 - "Goodbye"
@Count:
I didn't know that wanting logical growth for a protagonist before he takes down top tier characters meant I rooted for the villains. In a story like One Piece, 30% is pretty much ten years. He has plenty of time to convincingly take down a Yonko or two.
And he took down a Yonko Commander with the help of a crewmate after stalemating for twelve hours. I don't see how beating his boss in tge very same arc is logically sound.
Bro, you guys just don't get it.
-
RE: Chapter 848 - "Goodbye"
Again, you guys are underestimating Luffy, and yes he did take down a Yonko commander, I don't understand how you guys are saying he couldn't hold a candle to one. Luffy is going to have to start taking down the Yonko eventually, he even said so himself. According to Oda, we're around 65% done with the story, unless you guys want this story to go on for another 30+ years Luffy might as well start with the process of taking down Big Mom now. I swear it seems like some of you guys actively root for the villains in this forum I don't get it.
-
RE: Chapter 847 - Luffy and Big Mom
Eh, I don't see Big Mom going down in this arc. I think it'll end with Luffy escaping with Sanji having destroyed or ruined all of Big Mom's plans. I don't see how half (the weaker half IMO) of the straw hats, can take down a yonko's crew. That would be some major BS on Oda's part.
Seriously? What's with you guys and not wanting Luffy to win? If Luffy wants to become Pirate King he needs to beat the Yonko. Big Mom needs to be defeated period.
-
RE: Chapter 847 - Luffy and Big Mom
Man, I absolutely loved Luffy's attitude in this chapter, always confident and pissed off "I've been through this before and I'm not impressed. I don't give a damn that you're a Yonko, makes no difference." I can't wait till they eventually duke it out.
-
RE: Chapter 845 - "The Enraged Army"
Wow, this early in the arc and shit has already hit the fan. I can't wait to see what happens next. I really hope Sanji and Pudding do marry even if it may not be official because I'm sure the wedding will most definitely be crashed. They seem so happy around each other. I think it would be an interesting dynamic for Sanji, once he continues on his journey with the crew; I wonder if he'll be his old pervy self knowing he has a wife to return to once everything ends.
-
RE: Chapter 842: The Power of Fullness
I just noticed something http://mangastream.com/r/one_piece/842/3716/14 , I think the difference between tankman and boundman is based on where Luffy distributes his haki. Here, instead of it being concentrated on his upper body like boundman: http://orojackson.com/attachments/luffygearfour-png.2033/, he flips it so that it only covers his stomach. So I don't think tankman, is just boundman with a fat Luffy, I think it's a completely different form of Gear 4th meant for taking powerful blows and there's a normal version. I don't know just my 2 cents.
-
RE: Chapter 842: The Power of Fullness
That was awesome!! I really like how Luffy utilized eating as a weapon. I would have never thought about that. Also glad he was able to beat Cracker.
-
RE: Chapter 838: "Bropper"
Another 2 weeks of power level arguing, god I hope this fight is resolved in the next chapter.
-
RE: Chapter 837: Luffy vs Commander Cracker
The other two Sweet Commanders are probably the Chocolate and Jam ministers.
I think Perospero and Bobbin are the other two commanders.
-
RE: Chapter 837: Luffy vs Commander Cracker
…And what will he use to block the next attack? Cracker has no more cards to play. Game over!
He was able to spawn multiple swords, I'm guessing he can also spawn more shields. I also have a feeling that we didn't get to see the full extent of his devil fruit powers.
-
RE: Chapter 836: The Vivre Card Lola Gave
More power level arguments going on I see.
-
RE: Chapter 836: The Vivre Card Lola Gave
I'm still in the 'no real pound for pound fight' is going to go down camp. I think they'll have a little scuffle and exchange a few blows and then Luffy and Nami escape is my prediction.
-
RE: Chapter 835: The Nation of Souls
I hope the tea party ends up being exciting.
-
RE: Chapter 833: Vinsmoke Judge
This was originally supposed to be a sneak rescue mission, but since Big Mom has the keys to the handcuffs Luffy's going to have to deal with her soon.
-
RE: Chapter 799: Parent & Child
Wow that's brutal. Did he murdered someone or something?
The guy was a cancer on this board, he argued with everybody non stop, he had this condescending 'you can never match my intellectual arguments' tone to him which was annoying. Of all the chapter reviews I saw he never liked one, honestly I don't remember a single chapter he actually liked. At that point it's like why are you even reading One Piece? He whined and moaned at all of them nit picking them to death over the littlest things. The forum is honestly better that he's gone.
-
RE: Chapter 798: Heart
OH I see where mangapanda fucked up in the last line.
No, Luffy never said he can't beat him because he's admiral.
He said "'Beating him some day' is not good enough anymore."
He's saying "one day I'll be strong enough to be admiral" is the kind of shit they left behind 2 years ago.Damn so it looks like Luffy is ready to go head on against Admirals now! This is exciting!
