You know, if Oda really parallels Alabasta and Dressrosa as extensively as he already has, I can see Sugar joining the crew, especially since she was portrayed in a sympathetic light this chapter. Female defector that's highly ranked on the bad guys' side, etc.

Eh, time and time again Mashima hypes non-FT members and then they get flat out curbstomped. And yet I keep thinking they will give us a good show. Thank good this time it was about two yandere bishis that I could not give two hoots about and who had it comin'. Just please Mashima, just don't let Kagura befall the same fate :sad:

Good chapter, good fight choreography so far, lotsa pages and color pages. Props to Mashima. Natsu and Gazille kicked some surprising ass. I think it'll still be a tie in the end, though.

Really wanted to see Kagura in action, but her fight is off-paneled and instead I get that ugly mofo and his mini-me beating two fodders. At least the Dragon Slayers will finally fight next chap.

Definitely love these rivalries, and looking forward to the tag battles. Blue Bunny/Ichiya vs. fodder/Bacchus, Kagura/Miliana vs Jura/Lyon, and Rogue/Sting vs. Natus/Gazille are my guesses for matchups.

Other than Sting, nobody on Sabertooth was really a dick, least of all the refined Minerva/Rufus, but now they all look like total assholes (except Rogue). However seeing friendship Lucy getting slammed was pretty cool.

Chapter was fine. A badass delivering well-deserved badassery to cheating scumbags, nothing new. Obra is probably just a puppet for the little imp dude. I'm curious to see how the tournament will play out with only 7 teams now.

Following the rules of the game, would there only be that one stock of monsters that Erza owned? (in which case she gets a default 1st place and everyone else all gets 2nd or 8th or something)
Or will the temple monsters be restocked and everyone else goes from there? And what if, say, Jura is next and asks for 100 and beats all those? Is he tied for 1st or is he 2nd or what?

Wow, things are heating up. Everyone knew that Miliana was that girl in Mermaid Heel, I'm just glad it's finally confirmed.
So Kagura will be fighting Erza at some point, huh? It's gonna be good. And that Sabertooth shiz is serious business. Their master is whack. I'm looking forward to seeing the female replacement for Yukino.
Seems like Mashima is doing a good job of making each guild stand out in their own way; I seriously thought MH and QC would be complete fodder from the start of the tourney, but they've had moments of recognition too.

Kagura is like the female Azuma. Totally, undeniably badass…

Loved the fight. Who would've guessed Elfman would be the first one to win some real points for FT huh? However I dislike that Arcadias's plot is rolling forward so quickly.
Lastly, I'm looking forward to the last matchups. My guess: Sabertooth girl ties with Mermaid Heel leader, and Mirajane beats the Blue Pegasus bunny dude.
