That looks pretty good.
Character designs are good (Narumi mainly) and animation seems solid

I hate GT and in fact I stopped watching it even before SSJ4 aired.
But even so SSJ4 is the only interesting transformation in Dragon Ball since Goku went SSJ against Freezer decades ago
So uh…
Gowther erased everyone's memories about Mael to force the gods to seal themselves along the demons. Mael gained darkness powers, happened to look just like an older Meliodas just because and can absorb the demon king commandments and meanwhile Escanor gained his sun powers?
Nakaba has a lot of explaining to do in the next chapter
why it's dumb?
it's a trope,sure,but it's a trope for a reason..it works and it makes sense.
I think its very plain to see. Ban gained a lot of physical resistance and now would probably use his power stealing move to a further degree, but even that wouldnt be enough to stand face to face to the strongest demons (and thats why Meliodas laughs at Ban suggesting it)
In any case the shonen rule here would be that winning fights without using your own power is not honorable and thats why Ban would never make any difference if he relies in that alone.
Well, they are not wrong than besides the beautiful art (and fanservice) there wasnt much going on it.
I enjoyed it still. After the series finished the author did several gaiden chapters, one of them borderline hentai. I hope his next series fares better.
I just hope his power up is not something like "after expending centuries fighting in purgatory he has a lot more of experience now" because that wont cut it against the higher ranked devils.
Sigh… Even Meliodas laughs at how dumb this is
@Purple:
Honestly Orochi is a redraw original. None of us really know if he's going to die and if so who does him in
Murata already confirmed in the stream that he doesnt know how Orochi is going to die since ONE decides that kind of stuff while drawing the storyboard (and implying that Orochi is going to die soon)
My guess is that either Tatsumaki or Saitama are going to deal him the final blow.

I guess that when you read the outcome of a long arc and your first thought is "Gosh, I hope the series is already over" then the authors didnt do a proper job out of it.
Double chapter spoilers:
! 267: Estarossa's choking Elizabeth when someone hit him out of it. Then we see him talking for a bit before goin crazier and crazier with his darkness envelopping Elizabeth in a giant dark ball. The last page shows Meliodas in the dark.
268: Ban returns and fights a black beast. And the last page shows Meliodas lying by Ban's side.
Ban is back, back again.
! Finally! I was fearing the author had forgotten about Ban
but a little part of me still has some hope.
Not going to happen, the girls only role so far is looking cute in the background.
As if Kyoka acting bored during all the series and only becoming somewhat emotional over a school concert wasnt a big enough clue.
Hope Satoshi gets the fame he deserves with the anime series.
Idk but its a slim chance Supermouse survived, he could be used as a gag like being told he resembles Mighty Mouse or something like that.
Oh and someone needs to give Garou coke already
The coke line was so out of character that made me laugh. Garou is going to start thinking about cheap sales anytime soon.
Translation of chapter 2 of Reigen is out:
I Though I'm starting to feel convinced he doesn't actually have a goal for this story and just uses it as an outlet to draw cool things sometimes.
It has been like that since the last ten years. He has nothing to tell anymore.
After 10 years someone has finally decided to start the scanlation of Gekko Jorei.
It was easy to miss since no one seems to talk about it.
I'll admit comparing Luffy to Gentle wasn't fair. The One Piece world was built around Luffy. Like what others alluded to, Gentle didn't have time to win over most readers. Stuff like Gentle exposing multiple corrupt business should've got more focus. THEN, get into why he does it. Showing a few citizens actually cheering him on would been nice too, not enough to off-set his need for attention. He doesn't even have to know they exist, but show he's having a positive effect on the world. But, that would take more chapters to show.
Didn't realize it until now, but we don't even know Gentle's exact plan. How was he going to inspire the kids? A speech? A general butt kicking? More details on that would've helped.
I agree with Mr. Burns (Edit: I agree with lots of stuff he said, lol), I want more information after he "cracked". How did he become so competent? Did he just lack experience?
I see Deku in Gentle. I could see Deku becoming a tech'ed up vigilante if not for All Might. If Gentle had a mentor he'd a hero; If the guy had supporting parents he'd be a hero (Can you imagine Inko throwing a phone at Deku?). He's even smart like Deku, meticulously planning his crimes. That parallel could've been played up more too.
I think the point about Gentle is that he was irrelevant, he wasnt doing anything good for the world and no one cared about him. He only had airs of self importance but nothing more
If the author wanted us to think otherwise he didnt do a good job at it
The problem I have with Gentle's character is that he only put his mind into perfectioning his quirk once he was rejected by the hero society.
There were better ways to make him fall from the "right" way than simply him being a slacker all his life until his pride got dragged through the mud.
I'm still waiting for the return of Ban powerful enough to kick Meliodas' cocky ass.
I dont know how, but it has to happen.
They cooked the monster though
Also Genos is a cyborg and Saitama is… Well, he probably can gulp down a barrel of sulfuric acid and he would be ok.
wtf Garou is eating monsters. Was it a thing in the webcomics ?
No, neither was his red hair and eye.
Not only Murata is pulling chapter after chapter but things are really moving into place at high speed.
I was missing this fast development in the series.
@ITaeyeon:
Genos didnt had to bump on Sweet Mask to become an S-Class hero. There's still a large gap between Sweet Mask and the rest in A Class.
Sweet mask threw a little tantrum because of Genos. Genos reaching S-rank so easily was half a joke after Saitama took the exam and half due to his "cool-look" points.
Am I the only one getting more and mored creepied by La Brava's relationship with Gentle, even when it appears to be platonic?
It was him all this time!
@Oga:
I find myself caring more about Monspiet and Derieri than I ever have for Mel, Gowther, Merlin and Escanor.
I think the charm of those four if that they are all self centered and ranging from slightly to very emotionally authistic depending on the day. They are not your run of the mill shonen characters.
@Purple:
Needed an artist on par with the story content
They had to scrape the botton of the barrell, eh?
Never expected this to release outside of Japan o_O I'm happy, though. I really enjoyed it.
Glad to see Dragon Garow Lee getting some well deserved recognition. He is so much better than Toyotaro that I cant understand why isnt he drawing Super instead.
Also the DragonBall X Saitama doujin is pure gold.
Giving the village more time until past the winter is one thing but leaving Senku's friends unchecked because they may believe that he is still dead is stretching things a bit.
They are hyping the cat monster as being one of the strongest members of the association. Since he wasnt in the ONE version I'm looking forward to see what he can do.
Yeah, I always figured Garou as blonde like Hiruma from Eyeshield 21
Wonder how long it would be. First half is Narumi's adventure and second half is Masaru's and the finale is Masaru + Narumi (still mostly Masaru though). So it will never do justice if only one gets the spotlight. Fair for both would be a little bit lengthy though. Nonetheless I'll be looking forward to it for sure and crossing my finger that Gekkou Jourei will also receive the same love. The time for Kazuhiro Fujita to receive some Western acknowledgement that he deserved has finally arrived (I'm saying this based on the fact that not many of his manga are scanlated and published at least in America).
Yeah, he is criminally overlooked outside of Japan. Souboutei must be destroyed, his last series, is damn good but the scanlation is too slow to really enjoy it.
Really? I never expected to see this animated
They'll probably make one season of the most "normal" part of the series and see if it stucks. Its a weird manga that changes tones way too much for the anime market (constantly jumping from a shonen style to depressing and kinda brutal Berserk inspired stuff)
I can believe that someone with a lot of time and regular access to the internet could figure out how to build some cell phones and a cell tower with nothing but the materials he can find and refine in a huge wild area.
Can you? Dont you need microchips and computing code for a cell to work? Its not like an old fashioned wired phone. Even if they manage to create batteries and a signal launcher its all too far fetched.
Not to say that when an army is about to raid your village a phone wouldnt be my first priority. But I guess the moral of the story is that they can defend themselves with non violent science instead of creating weapons, which is historically unnacurate. Science and war always went by the hand, its an hypocrisy to deny it.
Its pretty much said in this chapter, human monsters born mostly from pent up negative emotions. Garou is not really that negative, he just hates heroes.
And also Escanor totally owned Estarossa, Mael shouldnt have been any weaker than him.
So, after 1200+ chapters the moral of the story is "If you want to become a pro boxer stop blocking punches with your face"
Well, that could have been said sooner.
The red tone kept disappearing between pages this chapter. It was just inconsistent. Which seems unusual for Murata.
And his bloodshot eye too. Its not only the hair that kept coming back and forth.
I guess he'll edit those mistakes lately.
I think Murata is not too fond on Garou's red hair and keeps forgetting about it.
I hope a decent alternative appears soon. Batoto was the best place to discover new series from small scanlation groups.
This is interesting, we get to see more feats involving the S class heroes.

So, from the Saitama VS Saitama thing (other than it being a practical joke) it seems that Saitama's plot armor works no matter how strong the enemy is, he would always be stronger because… reasons.
So, are they going to explain why Merlin got turned to stone by Garlan's commandment if she was inmune?
That last page with the fodder filler squad…
Sigh, I hope they got dealed with fast.
Goku put a lot of efforts to not kill his rivals. And it was Toriyama who gave Goku a regretful expression after defeating Frieza unlike the angry anime one.
The reason is simply that Vegeta was the one taking the "violent and unpredictable" role since the Namek saga and Goku became a smiling simpleton that only dreamed about having a exciting match.
I mean after Piccolo Daimaoh the only other certified kill by Goku is kid Buu at the end of the series.
Its clear that Toriyama wanted to paint Goku as a saint type of character.
Kid Goku was basically a wild boy. Granpa Gohan and Roshi barely managed to educate him
The change in personality and his boy scoutt attitude came after training with Kami. That also ruined his character forever too
If Merlin is the daughter of the two strongest beings shouldnt she be like crazy strong, much more than Meliodas and Elizabeth?
That was nice, but I wanted a bit more of closure. A single chapter gives the impression of an axed series.
It was all on the safe and generic side.
