When is the last time, not counting arlong, in Grandline someone tried to drown luffy? I dont think that 'drowning' matters in big fights (sea stone are another matter). I dont remembe Enel, CP9, Croc (seastone…) trying that stuff

RE: Wolfpox's Super Prediction!! (big time spoilers)
Here is a prediction: after this arc both Luffy and Zoro will have the ability to fight logia as they can they an fight and defeats ghost. I think the one the real purpose of this is to give SH an avenues to defeat logia.

RE: –-The Mystery of One Piece...solved?---
One piece has to be something tangible. Something that Luffy can wrap his arms around and prove to the world that he is Pirate King. My best guess is that its a device/information that can return the world to the era before pirate age. After all, Roger started that age with the hunt for; Luffy will end it with the "one piece"

Marines: If you want it fixed, why break it down in the first place?
Garp: 'Cause entering like that is a lot cooler!
Wow; thats the best quote I heard in a while " 'cuz its cooler that way". Grap can pull that off so well…

RE: What will the strawhats do with thier 100m berri?
Personally, I think that the 100 million berry will be a plot element. What's Luffy's current bounty (before the Enies Lobby crap will be recorded)? Exactly. Now, 100 million can't exactly be pulled out of someone's ass. So let's say that Garp returns to the Gorosei (Or just Marine HQ in general) with 100 million, claiming that he had captured Luffy and personally executed him as per instructions, and had recieved the proper reward, with Enies Lobby destroyed (Thereby cutting off court records) and CP9 destroyed (The Gorosei's major source of intelligence for the region), who are they to question Garp, the legendary Marine who cornered Gol D. Roger? They aren't.
So, the 100 million will be used to make Luffy "die".
I think Grap would just seize the money and waste it all on booze and food. After the man looks like he likes to party!

RE: Chapter 431 and beyond
Anyone know how actual "time" has passed in OP world. Seems to me that there always doing something productive (maybe not always Zoro). Productive meaning traveling to next island, headed for a fight or fighting.
BTW is there a OP timeline anywhere?

RE: Strawhats and Buggy's crew
IMO the fight would more comedic than serious like the last fight but Oda has proved many of my predictions wrong in the past. I hope for a serious fight but Buggy will have a role amoung Black and Whitebeard pirates, Shanks. I mean he is the only one not defeated by Luffy.

RE: Maybe Kaku's not such a bad guy after all.
Why must Hitler pop into every forums I read…..he gets way too much credit for evil.
Seems to me like whenever people need an overarching blanket for evil they point to Hitler. There are so many negative connotation towards the subject that further discussion among the thread seems pointless. Whatever that’s my rant about topics that turn into Hitler topics. Not aimed at anyone in generalOn topic Kaku mini series anyone? Really IMO the ideas that OP villains represents are evil; not host that it lives on. OP is Shonen manga about exploration and dreams not morality of evil or the complex duality of justice. Sometimes we in these boards look too much and try to make comparison that are awkward or simply inject our views with OP examples plastered all over them. Kaku comes from a long line of henchmen that not-evil-but-follow orders mold (look at Kenshin series for good samurai examples). I mean Kaku might have Okada Izo complex but that’s beside the point. OP is a upbeat world that suppose to make you feel better not an serious investigation of morality. Part of the beauty is the oversimplification the Oda/fans can part-take sometimes. We don’t have to find holes to fill. Kaku is a henchmen that’s it (Although I wouldn’t mind seeing him on the cover pages –he is fav. CP9). That’s my final word
