You may be on to something about the Admirals though. Lava Lava fruit? That would be cool since Ace never did anything too creative with his Mera Mera fruit. Military power over fire that knows what they're doing with it? Very Dangerous.

His father uses guns so i can see him getting one sometime in the series. I can also see the two of them squaring off at the end.

I really doubt Hogback was introduced so Ace can be revived. Why would Oda kill Ace just to bring him right back? I think thats kind of cheap.

I also think theres more to the end of the Ace and BB fight than we know.

Besides, it never said Ace was dead, or even defeated, it was, however, implied that he lost. Still doesn't mean it's true.

All it showed was Ace's hat, which had been off his head for a few pages before the climax. It implied his loss but even Luffy has been defeated and left for dead before by Crocodile.

I think that Ace is alive, however very unhappy.

As far as beating a logia goes, i think it would be cool if zoro faught one and just had that logias weakness. I know this wont happen but an example is if Zoro faught Ace while it was raining. Wouldnt that even things out?

Chopper broke out of Kumadori's holds by changing form though..so doesnt that apply to being caught by Robin. The arms might not go away but the holds wouldnt be the same at all/would break.

Once more is revealed i can make a full judegement but i think this arc has potential. a lot has been set up right now, so i wanna see how they all work together.

Anyway , i think it might be against fishman law or theyre too afraid to eat a DF because it would take away their ability to swim [ if that happens to them ].

Why does it seem that certain crew members arent allowed to be stronger than others? Also why is it hard to accept that theres basically a division between all of them regardless of where that falls.

Luffy is the captain and is the strongest for various reasons.

Zoro is indeed a beast and as far as non DF strength goes Zoro has got that covered.

Sanji is also a beast, but is also a great tactician and Oda likes to play that up.

Franky is SUUUUUUUPAAAAAAA without a doubt, and i would place him under Sanji.

Robin being stronger than Zoro…umm id have a hard time believing this but she can so much more differently than the rest of the crew i wont rule out her hurting him if they fought.

Luffy has been starry eyed this whole arc. I wouldnt be suprised if when they confront Moria Luffy is so occupied looking at all the cool zombies and whatever else is around that the rest of the crew handles the battle and yelling at Luffy the whole time.

DF weaoons are usually enough on their own. Mr. 4 and Spandam had them but didnt use anything else ( well Mr. 4 had a bat but whatever ). The fact that Zoro uses three swords would make his technique unbalanced.

If he only used one sword the whole series and that one broke, then i could see him getting a DF sword.

With so much speculation of getting 10 crew members, i wonder if well stop asking questions and speculating once the SH's reach 10, and then Oda gives us one more since we stopped expecting it.

What if Johhny and Yosaku score some huge bounty on accident, and not knowing what to do with all the money buy zoro a new sword?

I see Brooke becomming captain of an all zombie pirate crew rather than joinging the SHs. I mean, he has been a captain before.

Im pretty sure the rumble ball is only designed for Chopper personally, not zoan of DF users in general.

Even if Luffy or Robin could use it, I have no clue how it would affect them.

Gear 2 and Gear 3 prolly would be Luffy's if he could use the rumbe ball and well..didnt already know how to use them lol

Name dispute aside, I still think that would be a good story. If Colby and Helmeppo made such a cool return to the story, I think its fair game to hope for Johnny and Yosaku.

Brook literally has no muscles. I dont see where any strength would come from.

theres no way the straw hats are max'd out with their techniques at this point, but i really am not creative enough to come up with much.

i dont know about further gears for luffy, just him using more moves within them ( gum gum giant rifle much? )

I see Sanji improving diable jambe, maybe more of his leg cathes fire than just up to his knee so itll last longer. I dont view him using both feet as a real upgrade.

Nami and Ussopp defiently have potential because theyre weapons are multi purpose and literally uprgadeable ( in nami's case shes already got it and just needs to use it. Thunder lance tempo was very cool imo ) . Though lame theres still a chance of Usopp getting a DF weapon since the science of making them has been brought up.

Chopper's upgrade i can see being no more need for the rumble balls, and just having manual control over the points ( except for monster because then i think wed see it too often )

Robin…..she just needs more fights period before she needs to get better.

Franky...prolly has the "upgrades" already we just havetn seen them. Also i can see him losing some matches and repairing himself stronger each time ( a nod to the saiyans in DBZ )

Yeh, the fact that it was early on in the series was just to establish a crew for the SHs. After that the pacing was pretty decent as far as Chopper, Robin, and Franky go. Assuming Luffy will get ten, I cant wait a bit for the last two.

Brooke is cool but we have barely seen any of him. Im not hell bent on him joining nor is it set in stone that he will. He meets some criteria but okay, luffy also asked a tree to be in the crew in the latest chapter. :wassat:

Im not saying Brooke is out or in, i just dont think well get a new nakama this arc…lets give frankie some time to be the new guy.

I felt he had more reason to use it in the anime then in the manga. In the manga he just started spining in one panel. In the anime he basically does Diable Jambe because Jyabura pissed him the hell off, and Sanji decided to teach him a lesson in being cocky.

I still love the move though, its one of my favorites in the series.

EDIT: after rereading the manga Sanji basically spends the whole fight saying his kicks arent working too well. woops. he had plenty of reason for it after all. I still stand by saying the Anime made it more of an epic technique though.

The cover story is kind of slow, but its cool to see him in the marine outfit

If they dont have a DF by now or didnt when they joined up then i cant see a character gaining one. Their styles are so embedded in their character that at this point changing them up with a DF would be awkward/probably not that impressive unless it was

to me, Eneru wouldnt be able to impress or cause as much initial fear in peoplejust because he can create lighting. shanks and characters like him would be like "DF user..yawn"

Crocodile dominated for the most part with his intelligence and knew how to exploit alabsata with his DF. his DF wasnt a means to muscle people around ( not all the time at least )

Eneru would have a high bounty but im sure his is based on strength alone (maybe mantra too )

Just wanted to introduce myself to the Arlong Park community. I've been reading the pages of this site for a while and pretty much rely on it for my One Piece fix, and figured id join up.
