Vander Decken looks a whole lot like Guy Fawkes.

RE: Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
I've felt for a long time now that Coby will have to be Luffy's final fight in the series.
It's been foreshadowed over and over again that Coby is going to become incredibly powerful, and he has a tons of inspiration from Luffy and Garp to become powerful.
I think a battle between the friends in Admiral Coby and Pirate King Luffy would be a great last battle in the series. Luffy having to fight the man he saved at the very beginning of the series.
One of my favorites lines in movies came from Unbreakable.
" you know how you can tell who the arch-villain's going to be? He's the exact opposite of the hero. And most times they're friends, like you and me!"This sounds a lot like Coby at the beginning of the series.

RE: Chapter 576 "The Great Pirate Edward Newgate" Discussion
I wonder if that fact that the marines have ace's corpse and will almost certainly have the corpse of whitebeard if that will have some later effect on the storyline. It's clear in this chapter that the marines are guarding ace's corpse so I wonder if the marines are guarding for more then just the obvious of obtaining the body. Vegapunk could use the corpses to harness the fruit maybe? There's just a lot of gray area regarding how the making of devil fruits are achieved.

RE: Your First Taste?
I got in fairly late.
A couple years back I was really bored and as an anime/manga fan i knew of one piece but had never given it a chance so i had seen that the new chapter was released so I decided to give it a shot.
The chapter wound up being the Ace vs. Blackbeard fight and as I was reading I was instantly hooked. It was just awesome. As soon as I got done reading the chapter I freaked out at how amazing it was. I instantly went and started reading every chapter and watching every episode.
Have been hooked for nearly 3 years now.

RE: 1999-2009
Stephen always provided the best translations and i'm sad to see him stop but ten years and 445 chapters are still an amazing achievement. I'd just like to thank Stephen if he is reading for the hours and years of enjoyment.
