I re-read the final pages over and over again. I cannot believe Arlong is the voice of reason compared to Jimbe and willing to show at least a little mercy. I always thought he was among the most evil of villans in One Piece showwing no remorse for any actions. At least Akainu shows duty, but Arlong was just a bastard. I wonder what the next couple of issues will show, if his mercy is something that was a one time event, or he was hardened as the fight went on?

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
I get the feeling Zoro still has his eye, he is just in a mode where he feels so superior, that he kepes it closed until he needs it. Just to give opponents a chance :)

RE: Chapter 597: "3D2Y" Discussion
When I saw Mihawk laugh, and Zoro bow his head..wow….Just.......My favorite two characters showwing attitudes I never thought I would see....Now the question is simple, which crew member will have long hair after the time skip? There is ALWAYS someone whose hair grows long after a time skip :) I say girly Sanji... :D

RE: Chapter 587 "I will not run!" Discussion
Just a thought, but has anyone else pondered we may know Sabo, but as a different character with a different name? I just get the feeling he is not new per say…..Just a feeling.

RE: Shichibukai Discussion Thread
@Mad:
Because even if Whitebeard gets taken out, there are still three other Emperors and thousands of up and coming pirates like the Supernovas to deal with.
The job of the Shichibukai is to balance the power between the government and the pirates.
Very true. Guess I have been so focused on the current players we see, I forget the broad picture.

RE: Shichibukai Discussion Thread
I am just a reader and never a poster, yet something occurred to me….Couldn;t the government take this oppurtunity to eliminate not only the WB pirates and allies, but the shichbukai as well? They are all facing away from the big hitters int he government and while fighting the pirates they could do a double cross. Te shichbukai are more tolerated as a necessary evil right? Well, who says they cannot eradicate all evils at once in their mind? As Mark D Manuel said, they have not really played a big part yet.

How common is Haki?
Something occurred to me recently, and I am sure many of you have thought this as well, but since I have not seen it out there, though I admit I am new to these forums so be kind, but due to the sheer amount of Logia users we have seen in this latest arc, it seems that there will have to be more people who use Haki then the "One in a million born" who can use it, if I recall the number correctly. The only way to really hurt a Logia user is either by Haki, Seastone, putting then in the ocean, or a specific weakness to an element in contrast to the Logia's abilities, like liquid on Crocodile.
I look at guys like Zoro and Mihawk, and it is really hard to believe that they may have unbelievable powers, yet they will never really be able to strike and hurt Crocodile or any of the Admirals? It just does not seem right, and if 1 in a million are born with Haki, does that mean others can get to strength level where they use it in attacks and are not even aware of it?
And in relation to this, was Luffy able to hit Enel due to his rubber properties, or was it Haki imbued in his attacks?Thak you all, again I am rather new to this so please forgive me if this has been beat to death.
