The fight with RIP is amazing.
Great use of the powers of all characters, nice artwork and a creative strategy.I hope all fights in this manga are like this one.
Also congratulations for winning the new manga award!

RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
Yeah, the first chapter is kind of a bad way to start this story, because after that, things are way more calm than that chapter seems to suggest.
I hope more people give it a chance because it's a great story and the characters and setting are amazing. -

Men, the worldbuilding in this manga is awesome!
What an creative and intriguing concept, also the members of the union are cool.

RE: The "Shueisha" Thread
It might be doing the best out of all the new ones. It has an official twitter account twitter.com/undeadunluck_of and on there they announced that due to the high demand the first volume is releasing early (April 3rd), alongside with Agravity Boys volume 1. The twitter account hasn't even been officially promoted and it already has an okay amount of followers.
I know this looks promising, but chances are that it's just a somewhat desperate promotional campaign. Samurai 8 had a twitter account made for it before the manga even started its publication and it has way more followers, but it ultimately doesn't matter much. Robot x Laserbeam also had an even more successful twitter account while the manga was ongoing, but ultimately it was canned.
The color pages and extra chapters for series like Yozakura and Mitama also seem like somewhat desperate promotion attempts, but that's from my perspective. Ultimately the volume sales in Japan matter the most and neither of these two are off to promising starts looking at their sales estimates.
For now, it's too early to say how well Undead Unluck is doing. It does have a certain charm to it and I think the art is solid, so Japanese audiences might find it appealing. In terms of audience engagement, it seems to have a small flow of fanart on JP twitter, but not much on pixiv, still not that bad considering how new it is as a series.
Thanks for the information, hopefully it ends up doing well.

RE: The "Shueisha" Thread
There is any information about how Undead+Unluck is doing so far?
Because I am starting to kind of enjoying it, even when I am fully aware that is not very good.or we have to wait until the eight chapter to have some info?

RE: The Simpsons
@Count:
It's them basking in a fun silly imaginary trope because they liked the Godfather a lot
And couldn't we say the same about Apu being a over the top representation of an hindu person that is clearly taking its bases in a fun silly imaginary trope?
Hindu people in western media has been shown like that since…forever?Is the same thing in both cases, but at least Apu as a character is way more sympathetic and nice.
You're appealing to a mass audience that includes the races you are mocking
Again, all this talking about how offensive this jokes are against this minorities, apart from the people that appeared in that documentary, how many people have come out with the same problem with Apu or every other character in this show?
In all honesty, how many times the show used Apu as a punch line in an racist joke or make fun of his origin?
The show had use humor like that with him, but honestly most of the time the humor with him come with his personality or the interaction with the other characters, or just his accent that makes him funny?
When the show has to show Apu's culture, it is not shown in a extremely realistic way, but they don't ridicule it, the most offensive commentary about that was probably Homer mocking Apu's statue of Ganesha or that time he disguise as him in a wedding, that is it, or at least I don't remember any other moment like that. -

@Count:
Stereotypical depictions don't just hold back representation, they literally hold back the overall quality of entertainment we could get if push ourselves past superficial cliches
But the series had those Stereotypical depictions that were outdated even when it come out, but even with that the show managed to create some of the best pieces of comedy of all time, and no only for a couple of years, but for 8 seasons they bring us some great episodes.
I think the problem here, and something that maybe we all agree with, is that the show was stretched way too much for its own good and because of that the show NOW is boring as hell.And those traits are not racial stereotypes
Most white people in the show…or well, yellow?, are depicted as fat, stupid, incompetent in their jobs or just annoying, womens are the ones that are depicted in a kind of better light, but even then they are the cliche good wife or the voice of wisdom in a chaos situation.
Also the show depict italians as mafiosos that have a thick accent, or a chef that even Mario could call racist, or maybe that old people is always annoying and for that should be locked in a asylum or that the republicans are evil in the most over the top way, etc etc.Like I said, everything is exaggerated in an almost offensive way, the show don't want to show reality and nothing like that, or at least they don't want to show that in a completely realistic way, and that is not because the writers are lazy or "hacks" like you accuse them, that is not their focus, that is all.
Having non white writers is an awesome idea, but I think it is very false stating that white people can not write other cultures, they are professional writers for a reason, no because they are white, if the Simpson never show those cultures in a proper way is no because they don't want or because they are racist, is just that they focused in making jokes in not politically correct way.The Brazil episode is banned here in Brazil for a reason
Yeah I know, I only was mentioning it as a proof that this show never show reality
