I gotta admit that even for me initially I did not like Jinbe's appearance. I remember a ton of vocal disappointment. When we had guys like Arlong, Kurobi, the silhouette of Tiger or even Macro I think everyone had a very different imagination of what he would look like, especially when you combine it with the fact that his fish species is one of the grandest of them all.

The wait to actually see what he looks like was epic and I suppose that build up was going to set expectations too high. I figure if he ended up looking like Hack or more in line with Arlong the reception would have been better.

Personally I like Jinbe as how he is.It wouldn't make sense if Jinbei was not huge looking,would it? As a Fishman based on a Whale Shark he had to look big and grand.Fishman are generally potrayed to be superior to humans in general.If Jinbei was just tall and wasn't big horizontally he might as well be just another Fishman.I mean,Arlong and Hack are generally taller than your average humans like Usopp and Sabo.They have their fish species characteristics with their nose and that beard like thing so that criteria is checked.And as they are physically superior to humans they might just be tall as well,so that's checked.Their looks make sense but if Jinbe wasn't "fat" his looks wouldn't make sense as a Whale Shark Fishman.I would rather Oda make sensible looks for characters especially Fishman than just try to appeal to some readers like he does with almost every female having the same body type.I like big cuddly people so I like Jinbei's looks.Matter of taste I guess XD

We already have a big men in Franky and Brook for big silhouettes.Guess Jinbei could be on the opposite end of Franky in the picture to to even things out.Horizontally ofcourse XD

More importantly,people think Jinbe is ugly? Blasphemy! He just looks traditional.A nice contrast to Franky's modern look,I guess.

The only thing I see happening to get time to rest is getting everyone into the mirror world.

Sanji could pick up the meal that he cooked and give it to Luffy.Who knows,he might have followed the recipies of the cuisine of dominance of Kambaka Kingdom to cook that food.He could have made it so because it makes the food tastier.He might not have intended to fill Pudding with energy and only wanted to prepare a tasty meal but then again it's Sanji.He might really have wanted to fill her up with energy for the time after wedding. They won't have to rest if they eat the food that has been prepared following those recipies.

More weeping by Sanji.The year of Sanji was just…"meh".I thought he'll atleast rescue Luffy and Nami but Jinbei has done that and seeing how Sanji is like now,completely broken,he is the one that needs rescuing.I was sure he'll stop being miserable and bring out the Mr.Prince persona after this but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.I still have some hope that he'll do something pivotal in Strawhat's escape from the Whole Cake Island.Maybe I shouldn't.Just don't let Sanji be a pathetic gentleman in distress all through the whole arc Oda.That'll leave me unsatisfied.

Pfft. Zeff's old school. He's probably the one that introduced Sanji to his first cig.

Actually,Zeff asks Sanji to not smoke because it'll dull his tongue.So I guess it's unlikely that Zeff introduced smoking to Sanji.

Hopefully there won't be any surprises coming from Cracker.I really want this fight to just be over so we can move on to other things.Not really interested in this fight.Also,I feel that the explanation for Sanji's chivalry is a little underwhelming.I'd like to see more about this being built on and shown in the future.
