Maybe this has been dicussed earlier, but i can't read 100+ pages. I was wondering what would happen theoretically if you slice up a devil fruit in four pieces and give it to four different people who all eat their pieces at exactly the same time. Just a strange thought of me….

I've found a really interesting theory on another forum, credits to milkis and 홍이D . It's not mine. I just thought it would be interesting to show. I haven't found it on apforums yet :)

Reasoning:

1. On an SMS, a reader points out that all the strawhat devil fruits can be numbered (gomu – (5,6), hito -- (1,10), hana -- (8,7), yomi (4,3)). From this, missing is 2,9 -- "Nikyu". the reader asks if this means Kuma will be joining Strawhats -- Oda responds by saying he's surprised, but his response is "no comment"

2. Blackbeard and Luffy are polar opposites (bunch of evidence, blah blah). From this, notice how Luffy's Gomu Gomu would "counter" Blackbeard's Gura Gura -- basically, rubber would handle being shaken quite a bit better. This is followed by oda reasoning that he has thought very thoroughly giving Luffy the rubber fruit and there's a specific reason for it (for example, luffy survives many situation because he is rubber).

Because of this, Luffy still needs a way to counter Blackbeard's Yami fruit, which pulls things in with Gravity. Notice how Kuma's Nikyu fruit "repels" -- the fruit is a polar opposite of what the Yami fruit essentially does.

Essentially, it'll be a battle between Gravitation versus Repulsion, which makes sense.

Kuma works closely enough with Vegapunk, and given Kuma helping out Luffy -- one of the conditions could be a way to pull out the devil fruit from Kuma at one point and giving it to Luffy (this part is speculation)

As Blackbeard is on his journey to get all of the strongest DFs, shouldn't he already got magellans DF ? I mean, he beaten magellan almost to dead before he escaped, he knew how to take DF powers by that time already and it seems blackbeard always plans ahead, so I think by that time he was on his way to the war, he already had the plan to use this power to take as much DF's he can. Magellans DF is really really strong.

EDIT: Wich also makes it impossible to let him become Admiral, wich alot are speculating on.

To me it seems he actually will destroy FI in some way and make them live on the surface, as was predicted earlier.

The hell he will. Garp & Sengoku are marine legends. They were fighting the likes of Roger, Shiki & WB whilst Teach was a no name rookie. Teach is getting rather big headed if he actually thinks he'll finish both of them. I predict Garp & Sengoku will force them to retreat. BB has already made his point, the world is terrified of him and now no one is there to witness the events that are about to unfold.

I agree with you. Oda even made it easier now all the people on saboady are running away for the Tsunami. The people will still fear him after saw him gaining WBs fruit.

What about Danzou being Obito ? He only got one Sharigan, and around that eye there is a sort of a scar or a open wound, looks like it it because of the accident when he "died" Also he have never uses his right arm, looks like it's not working, that's normal when a stone crushed it. So i think he is Obito because he also is very strict and could-hearted. Kakashi was also a very strict when he was young. I think that's why Danzou changed so much.

Luffy attemps to save him at the middle of the war. But at the end luffy can't save ace. Then WB saves Aces but dies. Seen Luffy trying hard to save Ace and Luffys dream, wb says that ace need to join Luffy and help him become the Pirate King.

Okay, should be pretty lame if Ace should join. But wanna see ace more then only this arc.
