They're doing that as they find the time. The current stuff always takes precedent.

RE: One Pace
Just finished watching your version of Marineford. Great work overall, guys! You've come a long way in terms of quality.
I've been following you from the very beginning, but even compared to something more recent, like Dressrosa, this is pretty goood.
One thing though. In episode 1 at 6:30, there's a translation error. Ningyo means Merfolk, not Fishmen.
That's why the exchange between Crocodile and Jinbe doesn't seem to make any sense.

RE: One Pace
There'll surely be those who'll scorn the loss of purity that change brings, but if you ever needed to earn the right to exercise some editorial discretion, you don't anymore. Although I am curious as to what bits of filler prompted this change. Especially since, looking back on hundreds of episodes, I can only think of a mere two scenes that I thought were made worse by overzealous cutting.

RE: Chopper's forms
I've been wondering about the parallels between Charlotte Galette and Doflamingo in terms of their abilities and mode of dress. It strikes me as an intentional similarity on Oda's part, but Doflamingo's not old enough to be her father. What other explainations are there?

RE: Chapter 910: Onwards to the Wano Country
I have to disagree on several points here:
First (and most obvious), how did Korean nuclear program caught the world by surprise??? It was common knowledge since the 90s, that they are on their way to develop atomic bombs - the Soviet Union even put them under pressure to let go of it in the mid-80s. In 2004 a Pakistani engineer, who was responsible for the Pakistani nuclear program confessed to work with North Korea…
That an autocratic, militaristic dictatorship that's been in a state of war with its neighbor and their superpower ally would take steps to aquire nuclear weapons is a given, not intelligence. What took the international community by surprise was not the attempt, but the completion. If they had known, at least the U.S. and its pacific allies would have done more to stop it, like when a reactor was bombed in Iraq or when centrifuges were sabotaged in Iran.
Next i would not compare our world with One Piece universe when it comes to infiltration… i mean, they could just have a fruit user sneak in or what ever: point is, Strawhats made it and this very convenient.
Oh, I'm happy to compare them. Fruit abilities can be just as well employed for counter intelligence. Viola's ability for instance.
It's not that i say, Wano isn't good at keeping foreigners out, just saying that last two chapters told us, it's quiet easy to sneak in (again compared with WGs powers).
Well, I'm saying that they wouldn't have to be very good at keeping foreigners out. Putting up a sign that reads "Trespassers will be shot!" can be a much more effective way of keeping people off your lawn than drawing a fence around it.
For me it is a typical Oda-wrote-himself-into-a-corner. He wanted both: Edo-feeling and SH-infiltration.
Or maybe it's what Oda had in mind all along, and you're now trying to blame him for your unreasonable expactations.
A possible explanation could be, that WG actually doesn't gives a f… to unaffiliated countries.
Yes, and a lot of it. They can't even protect their members from pirate attacks half the time. That is, when they even bother trying. Fishman Island was left to its fate. Drum was pillaged by Blackbeard and they made him a Warlord…
it seems as if it's enough to have a Vivre Card and to disguise as a commoner.
You sure make that sound easy. Take a globe, pick a country at random, travel there without first learning anything about that country (other than maybe the language) and then try to pass for a local.
Also (OK, has nothing to do with One Piece), how did Soviet Union stole inventions and design? Sure, they had many informants, but how exactly did they stole anything of importqnce? They were not China! They even on purpose did not use design and technological information, to let the western world know, they are capable of even greater technology (which apparently they weren't). But i really would like you to show me, which great invention has been copied by the Soviets… Even if think a while on it: cosmology, informatics, military i cannot find anything great in particular, they copied.
Well, first of all, much of what scientists and engineers do in the West is made freely available to see, if not to use. That's how patents work. Only certain things are of special interest to discover/keep secret. Like how to make bigger bombs. (The Soviets basically kickstarted the Cold War by stealing the Manhatten Project.) Or how to make planes that fly higher and faster. First hit on my websearch gave me this interesting list: https://io9.gizmodo.com/incredible-soviet-rip-offs-of-western-technologies-973280252 The Soviets stealing Western stuff was even something of a Cold War meme. Star Trek for example frequently made fun of it, with Pavel Chekov often claiming things as Russian inventions. Or the idea that Shakespear's Hamlet was best in its "original Klingon".

RE: Chapter 910: Onwards to the Wano Country
But it's strange nevertheless, that WG has no iformant there and do not even know how strong the Samurai are.
I don't think so. Take North Korea. (Yes, their southern border is fortified, but that's to keep out armies, not individuals.) The West has high-tech spy planes and satelites, and NK even lets tourists in. Yet their nuclear weapons program caught the world by surprise, and nobody outside the country really knows how their political system works.
Foreigners stick out like a sore thumb, and recruiting locals to be informants is hard in illiberal societies. It gives them an advantage in the espionage game. It's how the USSR could keep up in technology with the West throughout the Cold War. They simply stole all the great inventions and designs. It's even harder to get intelligence on a nation state that's not only illiberal, but also xenophobic and isolationist.

RE: Chapter 910: Onwards to the Wano Country
I don't understand why the Marines "don't even dare to step a foot in Wano" when I see one half of the SHs easily infiltrating the country and the other half reaching the coast so easily.
I thought there were guard houses all over the border. Like, a Berlin Wall or the inter-Korean frontier. But actually, it's just a matter of bad weather.I guess it's a wide-ass country. Anyway, just SHOW ME THOSE POWERFUL SAMURAIS ODA !!!
I thought about this argument too. But it still doesn't change that the coast isn't under close surveillance. I'll let it pass for Zoro's group, because they probably came to Wano with Law's submarine. But in Luffy's case, he better face one of the best samurais of the country in the following chapters. Because if he successfully "infiltrates" one of the most hostile countries in-universe with their sunken ship on the beach next to him. I'll have to call bullshit
That they're xenophobic and isolationist doesn't mean that they have to have their entire coast under surveillance. It's a country, not fortress. A country that in all likelyhood is at a more or less medieval level of development and might have a low population to length-of-coast ratio. If some pirate is caught trespassing, no big deal, just execute them. That way, most will be kept away by fear. Most others will have to pretend not being outsiders, thus limiting their potential for contamination of the population with foreign ideas, which was the reason for the isolationism of Edo-period Japan.
On the other hand, a WG official setting foot there might be like poking a hornet's nest, a provocation with unforseeable consequences. They don't go there, not because they don't dare face the massive firepower of some sort of Atlantic Wall type costal defense system, but because they don't dare taking the risk of making another powerful enemy when they have enough problems already. Seems perfectly plausible to me.

And Orlumbus sucks at being a classic pirate.
Looking forward to Luffy arriving on an island and being hailed as a hero and captain of their saviors.

RE: Whose light will be erased?
Pell's being alive, standing there, being concerned about Vivi, couldn't feel more wrong and unnatural if he was literally a zombie. He can't die because nobody would believe it at this point.
The WG can't know Shirahoshi is Poseidon. We know the lengths they would go to for an ancient weapon. CP9 was on a mission for years to get the plans for Pluton. If they knew, they'd snatch that giant fish girl and lose no second thought about it. Curious though that half of that particular lineup of CP9 is present at the Reverie. Also, I wonder if they built Marie Geoise on top of the Red Line to be out of sea king range.
Anyone else is fair game, I think, but Vivi seems unlikely because of Oda's tendency to do the unexpected.
