Yeah Shinigami, if you don't like that scene then you're just not a fan of One Piece, period. It's like the first real amazing climax of the story after all. I think what made it so great is that it was so emotionally charged even if they were walking their normally, because of Nami being at her breaking point and begging for help and whatnot and we're all just like YES! Arlong is finally about to get curb stomped!

RE: Chapter 731: "Dressrosa Operation SOP"
Yeah come on guys, don't be ridiculous. It's Sabo, just embrace it and be happy and enjoy the Dressrossa ride. The Bon Clay theory belongs in that thread where all the dumb theories go to die.

RE: Favorite One Piece scenes?
One of my favorite scenes is when Blackbeard and his original crew are trotting into Impel Down, and Magellan damn near wipes out the lot of them within 10 seconds. Just goes to show you never really know what's gonna happen in OP, especially with Devil Fruit users. But part of the reason I like the scene so much is BB and his crew's reaction. They were just so careless and stuck up to get caught in that attack. And some of them just so easily resigned themselves to their fated demise. (also coincidentally, Blackbeard is the name of a real pirate as everyone knows, but also Magellan was the name of a famous explorer)
And really that's another thing I love about his crew in particular, BB is a murderous bastard but he believes in things dreams and adventure and the pirate's spirit that makes the whole anime so much fun. And his original crew seems to really wholeheartedly believe in things like luck and fate as if they trust it with their lives and death and thus have no reason to worry over the matter as it isn't in their control. Well that's my interpretation at least.

RE: Chapter 727: Ambushing Heroes
This is one retarded chapter… I mean wow, come on Oda, there is Idealism and then there is Idiocy. King Ricku acted liked the biggest fool of the entire story. I like the part where DD manipulates him into killing his own men, but otherwise this chapter was lame. And I can count on one hand the times I've ever thought that about a One Piece chapter.

RE: Chapter 720: Convict Gladiators
@Monkey:
People who keep saying things like this really don't understand Dofla's character at all.
He's not some super plan OCD person, he's the guy whose reaction to literally every twist during the Whitebeard battle was to laugh and get excited about the new chaos.
He's that kind of villain.I used to think that but I'm not so sure anymore… I think more than anything else he's selfish to the extreme, sadistic and of course he doesn't 'mind' chaos but I think he cares a great deal about keeping his interests in tact. This guy seems to have one of if not the best business and political minds we've seen in One Piece so far... He's King of Dressrosa, has a pirate crew, he's also a Warlord so he has connections to the navy, while he's also doing huge business deals with Kaidou, and has another name that is literally known as a very smart, notorious and cutthroat businessman. Maybe back in Marineford he seemed like that kind of villain but right now he actually seems to be the type that always has some nefarious plot going on. And he's capable of being scared shitless, like at the thought of pissing of Kaidou. Of course only truly crazy people like Luffy or monster-tier people wouldn't be scared of Kaidou.
Though when push comes to shove, if the collissuem collapsed in front of him, I doubt he'd be shaken by that. Luffy isn't exactly intimidating the big shots until he actually fights them.
I'm not saying your wrong though, his character and personality just seem to be all over the place at this point so he's unpredictable.

RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
Jinbei is gonna be chief chum scrubber and head of the poop deck. Right where he belongs. Then he's gonna die.
Come on guys. You think Oda the master of character designs can't come up with someone better than freaking momo or kineman? Seriously does anyone even want to see these dumb little characters in every single chapter just cause they provided a laugh or two? Why should they join the SH crew they aren't special, strong, or interesting enough.

RE: Chapter 709: King Punch
Not sure about anything, but it will be a damn shame if Shanks isn't stronger than Kaido and Big Mom :\
Maybe Big Mam but Kaidou is really no push over. At least he better not be. Yonkou are strong man when it comes down to it anyone could win on any given Sunday when it comes to Yonkou and Admirals.

RE: What will happen to the Mera Mera no Mi?
I could also enjoy the fruit to be shoved down doflamingos, or someone else powerful throat just to watch them explode.
Wait a sec… That actually makes a ton of sense in a funny but logical way. If he could manage to force Doflo to consume it, would be like a mortal kombat fatality! That should totally happen someday in the series, we've never gotten to see just how real the adverse effects of eating 2 fruits are.
Maybe Law could carry around a fruit everywhere he goes. Whenever he comes across a strong Logia he cuts them in half, shoves the fruit into 'em, puts them back together and goes "haha". Oh and he can remove their hands so they can't try to throw it up! lol

RE: What will happen to the Mera Mera no Mi?
Do you guys really think this tournament is gonna somehow keep going and have a winner who gets the fruit? Maybe I'm the one who's wrong here but if I were a betting man I think the marines and CP0 will serve as a catalyst to the impending chaos and somewhere along the lines Luffy is gonna end up fighting Doflo for the fruit. Everything else seems quite unpredictable at the moment but I'm pretty damn sure the tourney will end abruptly and Luffy will do anything and fight anyone for that fruit which means he's probably gonna get it. Straw Hats and Luffy spent a lot of time failing and getting their asses kicked, then training, then there was Fishman Island which was fodder camp. I think it's about time they start to shine a bit and take down some real big bads you know?
