@dwo:
The next chapter will be much about Luffy&Nami
,nothing about Kuma, little about Oz ;-))
Can you explain that? Or is this nothing but a groundless statement? A prediction of yours?
Usopp didn't do anything striking or impressive in the arc he was introduced, so the same might go with Brooke too.
So you want brooke to join. In my opinion he is terrible boring but i think we got it all right now. You can stop. Just wait. ^^
Robin's body on page 1 is horribly deformed! A classic "stick with breasts"! I don't like how Oda draws women.
/RANT
In that special case, you are right. In fact she is not looking very well but this is an excerption in my opinion. Some rocks are in the way and she has a strange lyingposition.
But normally i am very pleased with the way he is drawing woman, like on the cover of 44 or on some different colorspreads. Sometimes the waist is a little bit too thin but normally his woman are beautiful in my opinion.
Hmm, maybe i am a little bit slow but is there a chapter this week or not?
If i got it right, then the answer is no.
Robin, being older than most of the crew may be more knowledgable, is not the most intelligent. She know more of the world they live in from memory, but that does not mean she can solve problems quickly or create complex plans. She is the wisest, as she has a a wide array of history and facts of One Piece. If anything, if someone is not sure about the World Government, the Grand Line, or a mystery in general, Robin will be the one to go to to clear it up.
I totally disagree with you in this point. Of course she is the most intelligent within the Strawhats. You didn´t mention that she passed an archeologist exam at the age of 8. Of 8.
And Prof.Clover stated that she has the same genious blood in her venes like her mother. She is not only wise she is also very intelligent.
Some people are mistaking FORCED character development for character development in general. Not everyone goes through drastic changes for no reason, which people aren't getting. The subtle changes the crew have gone through, getting to know and trust each other, work well for OP.
Also I don't know how you could watch Water 7 and not think Usopp's character has developed. He was more brave then he'd ever been, and showed the most emotion. You could see that although he knew Luffy was captain, he always thought of him as nothing more than a friend and, mistakenly, an equal which wasn't true. It wasn't until after their fight and Usopp rejoined at the end of W7 that he realized Luffy had supreme authority as the captain
Haha, one of the greatest off-topic posts ever.. Have you read the title of this thread by any chance? Who cares about Usopp and his development in this thread?
At Topic
Yes i think that robin just feels more confident with the strawhats. They have done the unimaginable for her and now she knows that they will never abadon her. This is for the whole "Call the crewmates by their names" thing.
Also, i think that she simply enjoys the feeling of being within this crew. For the first time in her life she can really relax and just be herself without fear that someone will hand her out to the marines or whatever.
She just starts to enjoy life. ^^
You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I crack you up how, I mean I crack people up like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean crack you up, how? How do I crack you up?
Hehe, nice try, but not enough. I mean Good Fellas is a good film but why do you quote Pesci here?
But if this is a real question: Yes you amuse me like a clown. xD I know you don´t ask me but i really don´t understand your offensiv attitude.
Dear lord, do I have to write even longer extended text that everything I want to say is clear? Of course you didn´t say anything like that, I just said that it´s tiresome to read critiques about critiques because not all critiques are unjustified.
And on this certain specific topic, I didn´t write a critique out of the blue but decided to put the thoughts I´ve kept to myself for a long time to paper and share them here. The stuff I said about Usopp not being able to hit quick targets is not something that I just made up out of the blue after reading this chapter, but is rather the conclusion of what we´ve seen him do ever since he´s been introduced years ago.
Even without that chapter, my argument would be exactly the same. The only thing that would be different is that it would be lacking one example (which would be Usopp missing Absalom this chapter). I don´t change my opinions like a flag in the wind.
Ok, i understand your argument. Confirmed. xD Btw: You have to visit the pirateboard.
