I think one of the reasons the capture levels in gourmet world are much higher simply because they live in the gourmet world.
A place where no normal people can enter under normal conditions. (yes they are way stronger to)
compare it to the shining gourami, a normal fish with a capture level of 80 because it lives in a place where normal people cant enter.

RE: Toriko II: Ichiryuu's Slimy Insides!!
Good points some were mentioned. I think Jirou would be overkill and make the journey too easy though if he tagged along.
True, the man did stop the world for a moment after all.
I thought maybe he wanted come along to have a moment to talk with his brother. -
RE: Toriko II: Ichiryuu's Slimy Insides!!
i loved the chapter :)
For Komatsu's behavior i have the following explanation.
I think is wants to learn all he can over there to prepare himself for the gourmet world until Toriko comes to pick him up.
He has can learn to cook allot of exclusive ingredients over there he normally would not have access to.
Also most of the best chefs from over the world are over there, he could learn allot!I think he is here to learn because of this page in the last chapter:
[http://www.batoto.net/read/_/211670/toriko_ch261_by_hi-wa-mata-noboru/6T](http://www.batoto.net/read/_/211670/toriko_ch261_by_hi-wa-mata-noboru/6)hey wanted to learn all the could at the restaurant and thats probably the case here as well.
For Toriko :)
I think there wont be a big fight and he just comes to pick him up.
If Toriko wants to "safe" Komatsu he has to fight Midora, there is just no way he can win that fight… so it probably wont happen.
Besides Midora has no reason to fight Toriko since he already let go of Komatsu.Toriko has all the reason to fight probably wanting revenge but maybe he can keep his head cool and just come for Komatsu.
Also Jirou will probably join the quest for Komatsu, Midora being his brother.Tell me what you think :)

RE: Chapter 709: King Punch
I dont post often but hear me out
I don't t think this has been discussed yet. I'm really interested in what happened in between the moment Bellamy grabbed the troll and the king punch landing. And how the barriers work.We see Bellamy grabbing Bart and then getting attacked from behind, at this moment Bart makes a barrier in front of him, does he create it through Bellamys arm? If so does he have different kind of barriers in example for living(Bellamy) and nonliving objects (force of the king punch) and he created one for nonliving. I dont see why Bellamy would had let go of Bart at this time if anything and he really did see the king punch coming with haki he would have thrown Bart towards the king or anything else but he would not let go of Bart why would he?
Bart creates a barrier at this point witch Bellamy can pass through since his arm is sticking through it (or did i get cut off?lol), then we see Bellamy getting hit from behind by the kp yet we see him flying backwards (did he get repelled backwards by the barrier towards the king landing in the water behind him?)
the lines indicate that he is flying for forward (shouldn't he fly towards Bart?)Or the next scenario happened: Bellamy was acting like a retard let go of Bart turned around stood still and got a dramatic flashback of his live, got hit by the King punch and flew over Bart and the barrier or bounced of it landing in the water yet it was big enough to protect the crowd behind Bart.
I think Bart can create different kind of barriers for different kind of attacks and situations.
Any thoughts on this ? -

RE: General Blackbeard Thread
Has the cyborg theory already been mentioned?
Because that one sort of makes sense giving the fact that we've been told before that objects can "eat" devil fruits.I dont think it would be a good idea for the user.
Offcourse it is possible to make objects eat devilfruits but if you do that to an arm/leg it cant be good for the rest of the body, imagine exedentily turning your arm into a zoan or whatever :P cant be to good for your joints or whatever your mechenical arm is screwed into.
Then there is offcourse the question, can you control a devil fruit that you yourself did not eat? Sure the arm belongs to you but its technicly not yours so you probably cant control a devil fruit inside it that way.
It would be interesting if it did work that way, because that would basicly mean that you could cut off lets say whitebeards toe hang it aroung you nek and use his powers.

RE: General 'Haki' Discussion
Long time lurker here :) finally made an account and this is my first post.
About Luffy's so called weakness to sharp attack's i think its like this.
Luffy when not stretched is in my opinion more resistant to sharp attacks since rubber is harder than flesh. What is harder to do? Cutting a piece of meat with a knive or cutting a rubber tire with a knive? Now when luffy is stretched its a different story.
Luffy stretches his body this means there is a ton of presure on him when he does so.
When he gets cut when stretched this presure will cause his rubber to rip.compare it to a balloon, when not inflated something sharp wont do more damage than on other (semi-soft) materials but when inflated it will explode and rip it self to shreds trough tension thats on the rubber.
In short, i think Luffy is more ressistant when not stretched and weak to sharp objects when stretched.
when stretched.
