But after campaigning for her for almost two years, being bashed like hell by other forumers, and then having the story itself giving us a huge hint towards her future last chapter is more than enough to make someone give up. I'm tired of arguing the same thing again and again, with the story never going in a direction favorable to my arguments.

I'll be the happiest mofo in all Earth if she ends up joining, or at least interacting with the crew for a while, but for now it's just better for my health to not count on it. If she doesn't join (which is likely) or even doesn't appear for a 100 chapters from now on (which is less likely, but still very possible), I at least won't get disappointed.

So, don't make yourself a fool. If you wanna campaign for her, at least try to present some good arguments (though I doubt you will come up with anything that hasn't come up in this thread before). Just don't act like a blind fanboy like you're doing.

1. Hancock hasn't given up on the relationship
2. We didn't see Luffys face and the Okamas say boys are always mean to women they like most
3. Hancock as Captain and Luffys lover travelled with him.
4. There was no "Good bye" from Luffy which seems VERY strange. What he actually said was "lets go": he was talking to Hancock.
5. There's trouble on SA and Hancock will get involved because she's always worrying about Luffy.
6. Her love sickness hasn't weakened
7. FI wasn't destroyed for Jinbeis betrayal nor will AL
8. HQ has moved making AL safe, even though it's always been safer than FI

Now please address each and every one of these with proof in order to guarantee Hancock won't be next nakama or Luffys wife.

Maragret didn't travel with them, I assume, since she's not on Hancocks crew. She's still an Amazon Lily warrior.

i think chapter 598 closed this thing about the new nakama debate. there won't be any.
there will be many allies, that luffy will make friends with and they'll help the strawhats in time of need, like Boa and Jinbei, but no one will join until the end of the series.
the reasons are:
1. luffy said he wanted 10 people on his crew. including the ship it's already 10.
2. all the characters have changed a lot in the timeskip. it will take oda some time to show us what they've learned and how they've changed and what they've been through.
3. how can someone from the outside join now, after they've been to all this shit and gained so much love for each other in their journey?
it's like some random person can't join your family, after you've been together your whole life. not even a husband or a wife.
if there actually will be a new nakama, it will take at least 100-200 chapters.
