apparently he woke up to shoot spicy photos then return to death status real quick
dude's a chad even while offscreened.

the entire fandom wants to see Kuma have his revenge on Saturn ( sweet dreams )
meanwhile in ugly reality Kuma is guaranteed to fail to get his revenge so our protagonist can rise and steal the heroic spotlight for himself ( even though he has no personal beef with Saturn and never met him in his life ) the rubber ultra boring tom & jerry fucker will have it all. even though so many of us wants to see Kuma the one to do it.
as for the question he may not be able to, reminder that Kuma has been absorbing very enormous pain and he should be able to extract his own pain and use it as a finishing move on his nemesis, if Kuma with low consciousness was able to use ursus shock multiple times then he should be able to use his other abilities.
reminder that Kyros got his revenge on his wife's killer without Luffy's help. the same should apply here.
Luffy doesn't have to fight everyone just like the fact he never fought Diamante and instead he fought the stronger opponent. in this case that stronger enemy is unquestionably Kizaru who's soon about to rise again and it is Luffy the one to stop him
I believe it was Caribou who fed Luffy, there are no switching sides anymore. Kizaru is not like Sentomaru and it is disrespectful to him to accuse him of sudden treason.
we deserve to see a proper fight between Luffy and an admiral, the first round was far from serious as each had their own objectives interrupting the fight
Kizaru was razor thin close to execute the almost dead Luffy at the end of the summit war. I want to see Luffy get his revenge too because I'm not satisfied with just a dizziness punch. that's too soft for a man who almost killed him and his crewmates.
regardless of that, what a cliffhanger we got. with the worst timing possible. I advise to avoid spoilers as we're hitting the climax.
maybe those who never watched OP caused the positive reviews
good for us. i want them to continue working on it for decades
Oda couldn't attend in person during production due to covid, therefore the best is yet to come with expected deeper involvement from Oda, however that will cause more breaks!
everything looks so moist
Oda skipped how Teach and Koby dodged the petrification but my guess is observation haki
it's a different case than Law not moving two yonkos because of their strong haki
because afterwords Teach acknowledged the danger of her powers if he unhanded her, if his strong haki would protect him then he wouldn't be worried if she is lying or not.
I really hope Lucci doesn't end up as an ally
he does not fit the good side at all, in fact i would've preferred new cipher pol agents instead of returning ones who already had their time
the cipher pol needs variety and it was denied. from 9 straight to 0 with previous members, meh.
how long would it take to reveal Kuma's backstory
any theories on why he sold himself to become an obedient slave ? Like who agrees to that ?
we're talking about a greater sacrifice than Oden's who agreed to accept humiliation for a fixed period, Kuma is permanent !
but what if Kuma makes it to egghead and go to that room and touch that big bubble ? will he restore his real self now he connected with his own memories ?
I really expected a lot from Vegapunk prior to this arc
he's just dumb af
like what did you expect when you create a clone made of your disgusting greed ?
anyways good chapter.
now that i look back at it
it's kinda disappointing that luffy vs kidd is outta the window especially that they had a build up to it from way back
and it's also a bad look on shanks who didn't had the guts to hunt for the treasure until his main rivals got dethroned
he waited several years challenging neither of them then he demanded the copies from someone who had the guts and actually earned them
we deserved to see shanks versus a real yonko cuz all is left is an old enemy of his, old friend and another old friend
the standard to test his strength is gone, bullying a supernova ain't nothing new .
Barkworm
That's your taste
I would've much preferred Kamusari to be exclusive to Roger
Give Shanks his own identity, they already share a ton in common prior to this and now their abilities are the same too ?!
That's not how you handle a popular character, For that you go the extra mile every time. definitely not the case here.
Luffy hurting himself while punching someone makes NO sense!
that should've been a thing of the past.
Look at Garp's Galaxy Impact. Why is Luffy so fucking inferior to an old man who long past his prime?
Hyogoro's teachings are out of the window this week. Just like how Big Mom forgot she possess an observation haki during her final battle.
Fighting is my favorite part of One Piece. and these misses hurt me deeply. and they don't seem to have an end. each arc is loaded with its own flaws.
anyways it's sad to have the feeling that none of the Gorōsei will be sacrificed here, instead it's Vegapunk who died while everyone failing to protect him.
I love unique arcs but this is quite a sad one. Finally becoming a Yonko just to triumph via running away while some allies die to make that happen. almost as if Luffy's growth was meaningless since this is the outcome.
remember when Luffy learned an advanced usage of haki where he doesn't need to physically connect his fist against the target ? that technique is most superior, most efficient way to use haki and it's not even a CoC exclusive. it solved the puzzle to confidently attack enemies where it's not wise to touch such as Akainu & Magellan.
why suddenly Oda forgets about that and makes Luffy suffer from crashing his fist just like pre Wano against Katakuri ?
where is post Wano Luffy ? the one who shocked the readers at chapter 1010 ? by using the highest most skillful use of haki possible against the strongest creature ?
that is such a let down.
the first half of the episode is x10 times better than the other one.
Mole Pistole was done dirty, they minimized it ( no blood on Lucci ) and they replaced it's effect with a filler headbutt “sigh”
It's indeed odd that Lucci cares about his partner's safety
However such sudden development is welcome. As much as i liked Kaku in the past I still believe he shouldn't've reappeared in the story. I much prefer new agents over returning ones.
@Cockycent so the paint bucket had to come out of thin air but not the bat who had to be an existing object!
can't believe wano gear 5 was better. it had less crap and was funnier in general. it's like comparing one trash bag to another, one is less smelly while the other is wetty and drippy.
Chapter was underwhelming in general.
None of the elders excite me in their beast form
Making them fighters was a mistake, making them conquerors was a grave mistake, and finally making them immortals on top of all that is just absurd and ridiculous
When they were commanding from top of the world they had aura and weight around them, that feeling is gone. now they're generic obedient pawns, no charisma no ambitions and no cool abilities, that panel of them standing front of giant captains felt like they're an upgraded version of the prison guards. except they talk and can't die.
Last panel of the chapter was a long awaited one, This could be the best thing that comes from Egghead. I hope this metal giant showcases the strength of the ancient kingdom not just drop some lore.
Looks like that's it for Kizaru on this arc. shame he deserved better. heavily distracted by his mission & no awakening and no proper fights.
He didn't even honor his hero with the cover page like he did with Kishi
While the reason is unannounced but anyone with a 20% brain knows it's the Netflix LA series S2
It's not a secret that they're currently working on it. Such a heavy price to pay. Show is not even that good and i doubt they would learn from their mistakes.
While it's a dire reveal of dire antagonists I'd say this chapter ... idk they all didn't meet my expectations of them
two of them are giant insects
one big angry boar ( so brilliant )
one disgusting serpent dino bird ( at least it has a cool name )
and last but not least everyone's favorite is a heavily Miyazaki inspired design skeleton horse swordsman putting the famed Shodai Kitetsu blade into action!
However I only love the hybrid form of Saint Venus, the full beast form is meh and so most of Zoans in general
Zoro should've had this moment in chapter 1,111 instead of this, This chapter is lacking for instance Saint Warcury had nothing to show, all thanks to Zoro filling pages with his useless boring ass fight
idk why i saw a lot of complains regarding the giants getting into the main action, like some people actually wanted to see 1vs5. come on folks he is Luffy not Kaido. he needed help so fast while only fighting 2. which implies once more that none of them are going down this arc but I hope one or two would be nice but it seems unlikely.
could it be the ancient conflict was basically magic vs tech ? and the bad guys won just so we can have the story
of course the great kingdom could've won but it would've been at the price of mass murdering people hence the ancient weapons, so they chose defeat and save lives by doing so
by that outcome the world was ripped from advancement and prosperity and Vegapunk is going to expose that fact, he probably would mention the hideous divine tribute to ignite the people, how sad it is the entire world pays tribute every year just because the evil side won 800 years ago ? if such message is delivered it would cause a massive chaos and more revolutions would rise. starting the end the WG. but honestly that role is too wild for Vegapunk yet he's so perfect because the people love him and trust him. the public is not going to believe that if it comes from a pirate's mouth. I just hope he doesn't bring up religion like hey Nika is back and you need to know about him, that's a freaking nightmare for me.
it's most likely the message won't be revealed by next chapter but I'm excited none the less. I want to see majestic monsters not giant insects like Saturn.
it will be explained once we know what's his DF is all about
the thing that has no explanation is that he looked the same for the past 40 years! Garling was there for comparison and he aged reasonably.
