I don't even care about these mails anymore. First, Big Mom was in the playable category, and now she's in the bosses category. What if it's yet another mistake?

They also mispelled Carrot, Katakuri and Hawkins are nowhere to be seen even though both were confirmed as playable characters already. And I'm pretty sure that Luffy's Snakeman will just be another transformation with new combos, like Boundman. Don't you guys forget that we can change the R1 attacks before battles, it was confirmed. So, yeah, personally I'll just take into consideration the VJ scans, at least they know what they're talking about.

Be aware though, the scan only confirms Hawkins as a new playable character (ホーキンスを操作できる), Kaido is only mentioned as a giant boss here (巨大ボスのカイドウ).

Ryokutya's a fiable source so it's indeed confirmed. No doubt that Katakuri was going to be in anyway. Luffy's Snakeman form is confirmed as well, which is neat. Before someone asks, yes, the scan clearly says that Katakuri's joining the playable roster.

Yes, it does make sense, I won't deny that. I was just saying that, so far, nothing says that they're a package deal. That WSJ scan made it very clear that each of them were playable, it's from an official Japanese magazine so I don't see why I (we) shouldn't be trusting them, it wasn't an error on their part or something.

I know you guys want them all in one and a same character so that we can have two more free slots for new characters, but that's not what's happening here. They'd have clearly said it in that scan if they were all playable together in one. Again, each of them were confirmed to be playable, and you can't tell me they're playable within Ichiji's moveset just because they appear for like one second during one of his attacks. We aren't controlling them, they just pop up, do a small attack and dissapear. If you're still not convinced, we'll just have to agree to disagree, wait, and see.

Furthermore, Ichiji's description in that character select screen says nothing about his brothers, it's just about him and his fighting style. I don't want to be the Devil's advocate but all signs indicate that they're all separate characters of their own. We'll just have to wait and see, but personally, I don't see them being a package (three characters in one).

On another hand, Sky type being a thing in this game (IIRC, the other ones being Speed, Power and Technique), it gives me hope that Monet could be playable this time. She's perfect for this considering that she's a harpy and has wings, plus I bet she could be extremely fun to play as. Fingers crossed!

Keep in mind though that when the Germa 66 members were revealed in that WSJ scan, it was said "Play as each of the Germa 66 members!!", so just because we can see Ichiji's brothers for a brief moment in one or two of his attack(s), that doesn't mean that he's the only one playable. They could very well do the same treatment for his brothers.

Unless it's officially confirmed, there's no reason to think they aren't their own characters with a complete moveset. I mean, we aren't playing as them when they pop up within Ichiji's attack(s), that's completely different. To me, that sentence in the WSJ scan made it very clear that they were playable as well.

The same gameplay videos as the ones shown during the TGS, but this time played by a competent player! He's trying pretty much every move, both on ground and air. I saw some attacks I didn't actually see in the gameplay videos from the TGS. He's really doing justice to the gameplay, it's looking extremely fluid and dynamic! And Kuzan? God, he's insane!
