RE: Felch Discussion Part 3
! So they neither reincarnate nor become part of Soul Society. Okay then.
! And about this whole Vasto Lorde thing: I think it's time we had a little talk about this. The first time we learned about these things was when Hitsugaya and his gang of retards started going to school with Ichigo. Our short little girl-baiter was the one who got everyone going, with this image passing by as he explains the concept of Menos to Ichigo.
! As you can see, Hitsugaya explains that 'their size resembles a human more than any Hollow.' I am unsure if this is a bad translation or if it was ever stated differently later, but as far as I know, being shaped like a human was never much of a requirement for being a Vasto Lorde. Then, we have this flashback chapter, and this expository exclamation:
! So we can obviously do more than assume that Grimmjow is an Adjuchas, the only one ever specified to be such. Or so this would be the case, if it wasn't revealed later on in the manga and in the very same anime episode that this Gillian was Shawlong Kufang. So it could be that George Lucas simply didn't consider the idea that the audience would flow off from the comment about Adjuchas onto the picture of a cat with hole in its chest right below. Soon after, we get an interesting case with Nnoitra:
! It's evident that Nnoitra is the one standing atop the hill, before becoming an Arrancar. There's never a closeup shot of this, but we can roughly say that he's human size, or a little larger, though not Yammy large. Save for the horns, he also manages to fit under the classification of an anthropoid. If we go by either size and shape, or size alone, Nnoitra could well fit into the rank of a Vasto Lorde. Then again, Lucas gave him an extra four arms for his release, so who knows what the fuck was going on there.
! Unfortunately, this makes me believe that 'size only matters' in this case. While there were some changes and such between each released and unreleased bodies, what would be consistent with the idea of everyone but #9 being a Vasto Lorde is if the released form's size is supposed to be congruous with that of the original Menos form. Example from the blob itself:
! This form was the biggest one of any of the Espada (ignoring Yammy, again). The fact he was Gillian before serves to reinforce the fact that previous Menos forms have a direct influence on the size of the Arrancar's release size. But this runs into the snags of people like Gantenbeinne and Shawlong Kufang, who had relatively small releases yet were no better than, say, D Roy or that fatass who wanted to spin his frank in Matsumoto's golden retriever. Fatass grew large, however, and Shawlong was shown to be an Adjuchas before hand along with the others. Mr. Kufang's release was no more detailed or monstrous than, say, Halibel's, so if it's not size that's a revealing factor, what is it?
! What does this mean then? Do we know who's a Vasto Lorde by size, shape, or both size and shape? Did Aizen mean, when saying they would gather the Vasto Lordes, that they already had them and just wanted more for firepower's sake? Are the first five Espada Vasto Lordes, the first eight, or was everyone and their mother a Vasto Lorde in disguise?
! >! It means that none of this matters because George Lucas obviously didn't put as much thought into this as I did with one post.Wow, that just blew my mind. I love trying to figure Kubo out only to come to the conclusion that he doesn't even know what he's doing :getlost:

Poor Zeff, just like Dofla he falls victim to Robin :(

RE: Beckman vs Moria: When Fans Collide!
Moria gets my vote, the Beckmann hype has nothing on an actually established character.
