My friend wrote this article and i thought I'd post it hear cus it's kinda interesting.
I mean, nearly every anime and manga i've seen is full of people with crazy colored hair and wierd faces and i never really thought about why that was, exept to make them memorable, but surly the atists would try to make them look japanes so that their target audience wuld identify with them.

i guess some manga, like One Piece are actually set in crazy made up worlds but even the ones set in Japan don't really have too many asian looking characters and the only one i can think of off-hand tht draws attention to it is bleach, where part of the premise is that ichigo has freaky colored hair for a japanes person.

i like buggy and all, but Rayleigh is too deadly to vote against
