Who´s strong with the force here?

Today was yet again one of the days where I emberaced myself in front of people but this event actually helped me realise one thing, I´m a wannabe Jedi/Sith! :blink:

I went with my friends for a little shopping and when we wanted to enter the store I was waving around with my hands while the electric door opened as if I was some sort of Star Wars character who could actually influence it.

Well, since it was in front of my friends we had a good laugh for a couple of minutes but actually I realized that I do that quite often without even thinking about it. So yeah, the point of this thread is actually to see if there´s actually other wannabe Jedi/Sith out there or am I the only one? Would start to get worried if the latter is the case. :shocked:

I play Star Wars RP but… I don't know if I'd consider myself a Jedi/Sith wannabe... though sometimes... I think it might be pretty cool to have those powers

Erm, with wannabe Jedi/Sith I actually meant if there´s others here who´re waving around with their hands in order to make it seem as they´re using the force like I sigh do. Apparently I´m the only victim here.

Yeah, seems to have been very entertaining to my friends. I acted like it was something I did to make them laugh but they didn´t seem to buy it. No wonder. :getlost:

Oh man, I do that everytime I go into a store… haha

Whenever it's really, really windy during the fall, windy enough that little groups of leaves are being carried off in little mini-tornados, I like to do one of two things (only when in the company of friends, of course):

Stand in the tornado and make it look like I'm "powering up", complete with exaggerated constipated groans.
Wave my fingers at the tornado and follow its path with my hands as though I am controlling it. It's really fun for no reason at all.

Although these don't have much to do with Star Wars necessarily, I think I know exactly where you're coming from, Ivotas.

A couple of times in junior high school, I did the hand wave whenever someone I didn't want to talk to kept talking to me. "You will….. stop talking"

I had a phase when I was talking backwards like Yoda for a month. In english class, it was good fun

i do that whenever i'm given the opportunity to.

though, i did that when i went out on a date and she ended up sulking after that… >_>;

I've never done what you did but i'd do anything to be a Jedi/Sith and have a awesome Light-saber. I cry realising this is all but a fantasy. Reality sucks.

Never did Jedi type stuff. But I am a big Harry Potter fan, and I find myself say "Lumos" when I switch the light on, and "Knox" when I turn it off. Half the time not realizing. Very Embarassed to say that.

I've done the door trick before, though I don't do it frequently.

I've done some Star wars Roleplays.

I also played Star Wars galaxies before the purge. I cancelled my account after the NGE, but have recently come back as a Wookie commando after hearing that creature handler may return.

Oh yes, and I was, at one point, obsessed with crispy Anakin. XD

Lol, I swear I´m getting old. The first time I read your response I ended up reading "sulking" as…well another word that starts with s and I was like no way, what kind of girl was he dating? Well yes, but then I read it a second time and got the meaning of it. :getlost:
