fantastic episode, i loved it. as for the sub. not bad, indeed an improvement over the last one, however they forget to translate things at the top of the screen on occasion.

Looks like ADC will have to step it up a notch. Glad to have someone doing faster subs on OP, not that ADC was ever a problem, but this is great :D

regarding the subs, nice translation although some few expressions may have been translated such as "kairoseki" or "ganbarre". As for the font, it was big enough and very readable, much better than 285 ^_^

Not a bad improvement, although it kills me to see anime without karaoke nowadays, for some reason. I mean, it's not even essential, it's just that it's a trademark of anime fansubs in the latter years. On the whole, an improvement, but I still feel they have a way to go. Good luck to them, I'd like to see them taking on other projects in the future if they step up their game enough.
However, not meaning to sound like a dick, I do think you guys might be overrating their speed a little. I mean, there was over a week between their releases. ^^;

looks like everybody already forgot that you were releasing your subs the next day that the raw was out, when you had your old translator (if i got it right), and with a very high quality on top of that.

Hopefully, we'll be doing that again when we're back up to date. We definitely have the capability to do so.

For promfrets work, its great. While I'd prefer that they use a different type face. Its still great.
Besides, it certainly doesn't hurt to have a lil competition to get ADC on the ball again.

As we've said for a while, our priority for now is getting back up to date, which we've almost achieved now. When we've done so we'll be releasing two batches of Straw Hat Theater omakes, one for HD episodes, and one for standard resolution.

You've released 7 episodes, which in doubt might have been sped up slightly quicker due to some competition.
And while you've released those 7 episodes in 1 month, that only shows how far behind you've gotten.

Alright, I thought I read that it'd be released in 1 batch after the omakes had finished and it'd been several weeks since then. But as long it wasn't forgotten then alls well.

3 episodes behind would be about 3 weeks (almost a month) behind assuming that an episode aired every week which isn't always the case. Again, just another perspective of the situation.

But if you truely want them to do well, then I have no problems and I'll cease this small converstaion.

I'd say. ADC lost their translator and had to recruit a new one. Normally I don't care for people who complain about fansubs, but it seems like you're just going out of your way to be an ass about it here.
Only an ass cause Wicko seemed like one first :-\ and if he said that he never intended to put down promfret and it was just a miscommunication then I'd let it go, which he has yet to do.
