Frankly, that ending poisoned the rest of the show for me. It's just so disappointing.

@S.C.:
I must respectfully disagree. I'm pretty damn sick of him.
I'm getting sick of Charlotte too…..even if they weirdly decided to have her drop the title to Bayley.
-
I love Lesnar. He was a favorite of mine in his first run, and became one again in the last couple of years. A Lesnar lurking with the Briefcase could be really fun and interesting, imo, but if he just straight up challenges immediately, it will feel wasted. Hopefully next year, a couple of the guys who were in this match will have been booked properly enough to seem worthy of the briefcase, because it has torn apart many more than it has helped. KO or Zayn would have been good choices to win, but neither were in the match.
-
I like Cesaro's new theme.
-
R-Truth is the new 24/7 Champion!!
-
This has been the best Raw in a while.
-
I do not get what they are trying with the 3rd hour of RAW…
But it was a good episode... And I know people hate Brock but I still fucking love him

That ugly belt tho .

Breaking News on the new episode of Road to Double or Nothing. The winner of the Casino Battle Royale and the winner of Jericho Vs. Omega will face each other on a later date to become the first ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
-
Today is 20th Anniversary of Over the Edge 99. I remember watching the ppv when it originally aired and the Owen stuff left me in shocked. I reccomend listing to the Grilling JR episode about Over The Edge 99.

Jon Moxley have arrived to AEW!!! Also they are setting up for Moxley vs. Omega.
-
Oh snap! Sami just mention AEW on Raw.
-
The cynic in me won't let me believe AEW will ever be a serious threat to the WWE, but god damn, the energy and creativity differences between the two is staggering. The WWE is as stale as hardtack from the Civil War right now.
-
More Jon Moxley news. Jon will be facing Juice Robinson for the IWGP US Championship, next Wednesday on the Best of the Super Jrs Finals show.
-
-
Jon Moxley is on the new episodes of Talk is Jericho and he explains why left WWE. I don't blame Jon for wanting to leave WWE after that doctor skit promo. Also I'm not surprised that he was against doing those promos about Roman having cancer. This episode of Talk is Jericho really shows how petty Vince can get.
-
On that note Vince apparently wasn't too happy with Sami Zayn's AEW reference.
Also is it safe to write off the women's tag titles and Elia's push?
-
I'm not surpised that Vince is mad about Sami's AEW reference. Espically after listing to the Moxley episode of Talk is Jericho. It really shows that alot of the wrestlers are frustrated with Vince and creative.
-
Here is the promo that made Jon Moxley decide to leave WWE.
-
Part 1 of Wade Keller's interview with Jon Moxley is now out. Part 2 comes out on Sunday.
-
The sooner that HHH takes over, the better.

The sooner that HHH takes over, the better.
Don't know with Gargano dropping his title recently and Bazler presently being Rousey-Lite he may be no better than Vince.

Great show for NJPW today. All three main event matches were great. Shingo and Ospreay was a great way to end this year's Best of the Super Juniors tournament. I really like Jon Moxley's new ring gear and his new entrance music. Jon and Juice had in a really fun match and it was in my opinion the match of the night until Shingo and Ospreay happened. Plus, I'm fine with Moxley winning the IWGP US Championship. I just hope Moxley will be in the G1 so that we can get Moxley vs Suzuki as well Moxley vs. Naito.
-
Here is the card for this Sunday's NJPW Dominion.
Jon Moxley Vs. Shota Umino
Satoshi Kojima Vs. Shingo Takagi
Yoshi Hashi and Jyushin Thunder Liger Vs. Zack Sabre Jr and Minoru Suzuki
Ryusuke Taguchi, Juice Robinson, and Hiroshi Tanahashi Vs. Taiji Ishimori, Chase Owens, and Jay White
Never Openweight Championship: Tomohiro Ishii Vs. Taichi
IWGP Tag Team Championship: Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga Vs. Evil and Sanada
IWGP Junior Championship: Dragon Lee Vs. Will Ospreay
IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito
IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Kazuchika Okada vs. Chris Jericho -
So, who watched Sweet Saudi Blood Money 3: Oilbellum? I heard the finish to Goldberg vs Undertaker was botched.

Oh, that's today? I missed it. I just looked up the results.
I'm just glad that after all these years Mansoor finally got his due.
Yeah, I googled him too. :ninja:

I didn't for sure. Since I'm waiting for the better wrestling event that is happening this weekend (Dominion).
-
I'm not giving the WWE another cent until they break the deal off and/or Vince retires/dies. Wrestling's a scummy business, I know, but come on the hell on.
-Edit: In also pleasant news, the dude who won the Battle Royal is apparently a massive anti-Semite. Charming.
-
I watched it. Pretty good show, actually.
-

Because the tag match from Crown Jewel wasn't botchy enough.
-
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced this year touranment blocks for the G1 Climax

@Sammy74:
I like to watch WWE in my free time.
Nice. Who is your favorite wrestler in the E?
-

They put two guys in their 50s in an athletic contest in blasted heat and expected them to perform acrobatic moves they used to do in their mid-30s when they were at their peak and have actually performed on average once a year in one case, with degrading performance each time, and really only once two years ago (three times if you want to count the 'just tackle the other guy once and he promises not to get up' matches).
And put them on last as your big drawing main event?
That such a thing could remotely sound like a good idea to anyone is silly. The result is exactly what should have been expected.
I don't see how people weren't just done with the Undertaker when he did two once-a-year matches against Triple H where the majority of it was just the two of them laying down in the middle of the ring napping between rest holds.
Between the Saudis demanding Undertaker vs. Goldberg and Triple H vs. Randy Orton, I really have to wonder if whatever hacked up, religiously and culturally censored version of the program they are showing there consists primarily of segments from 15-20 year old episodes.
Everyone is happily jumping onto AEW as if it is going to be the solution to everything– but we've seen this before. TNA, Ring of Honor, Global Force, New Japan-- every time some money gets behind another wrestling company, people herald it as a new major competitor to WWE that will take it down with superior shows. But the shine will fade, the cracks will start to show and it will only take a few missteps before everything turns sour.
And when it is the guys in the main event who are booking the entire show, it pretty much spells disaster from the beginning.
That's without getting into mistakes like hiring too big of a roster or things beyond control like important people getting injured or retiring suddenly and unexpectedly.Or you get someone who decides that they shouldn't have to lose to anyone ever and should get to go in there and beat up 6 up and comers all by themselves.
After all-- Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior and John Cena did that and are considered the best ever. Surely you want star power in your promotion!Anyway, it can just go so very wrong in so many different ways.
I would say keeping expectations low, applauding them if they exceed them but keep in mind that it won't take much for the bottom to completely fall out.

I don't recall anyone arguing that ROH, Global Force or New Japan would be threats to WWE.
TNA in particular never really truly had the money to go head to head with WWE…....did have enough to throw away on Hogan and Bischoff.
-
Even the most positive of optimists would have to concede it will take years for AEW to be a true thread to the WWE. On the other hand, the WWE is probably at it's most stagnant and unappealing in years. Like, it's just straight-up boring and unenthusiastic.
-
This is making me wonder what Conrad feels about this. Since now both Bruce and Bischoff are back with WWE.
-
I am pretty sure the WWE did more 2 out of 3 falls matches during the past 2 weeks than they did in the 30 years prior.
It is almost as if they are literally doing everything in their power to make their programming worse.
At least there is still NXT?
-
Not with Shayna Bazsler still holding the women's title and them doing god knows what with Gargano.
-
The Heyman era of Raw is off to a great start.
-
Undertaker actually looked way better tonight then he did with the match against Goldberg.

Well, it sure was a lot better potential last match for him then that debacle.
