Yeah, the last four matches were incredible. I like Kenny a lot, but have never been 100% in on him because I don't like his character and hate his promos, but he put on a show and Okada, no matter what you wanna say about his push, proved that he is as big a main event wrestler as you can be. I'm a huge Naito guy, and wish he had the big belt, but I can't complain since they built the stage set just for his entrance and the Japanese commentators kept putting him over as the dude who ended the Ace. Really good show, just thought the undercard had some misfires.

I won't be watching Wrestle Kingdom until next week, when Axs tv airing starts.
Chris Hero appeared at NXT tonight

Okada/Omega is the easily the best match I've ever seen.
I watched it live and was on my feet/holding my breath/shouting at my tv for almost the entire match.
Even with all the crazy spots in that match the thing that really got to me was the part where Okada would just not let go of Kenny's wrist and Kenny was fighting for his life to get Okada to let go.
Such a simple thing but it really got in under my guard.
-
I don't know if it just me, but I have been really enjoying Smackdown since the draft. It seems like Raw continue to go downhill, while Smackdown continues to get better each week. Smackdown is having the storylines are going in a good flow, and that I actually care about the storyline. I'll admit Smackdown actually made me care about Miz for the first time in a long time.
While Raw just seems to drop the ball on stuff. I mean there are wrestlers that I do care about on Raw (Jericho, Owens, Sasha, Bayley, Charlotte, The Club, Rollins, Cesaro, and Rusev), but I feel they aren't being use correctly. Heck, Smackdown is having a couple of favorite storylines in WWE right now (The entire Orton in the Wyatt Family, Miz storyline, and Styles vs. Cena storyline).
-
What about Becky Lynch's feud with Alexa Bliss which is starting to get stupid?
Along with this Natayla-Nikki Bella-Carmella mess.
-
Finally got a chance to see Okada vs. Omega from Wrestle Kingdom 11. Since I was waiting for the Axs tv to aired the show. The match was really great and it kept getting better as it went on. I have to say both Omega and Okada did a great job in the match. I can't wait for next episode with Naito Vs. Tanahashi.

Along with this Natayla-Nikki Bella-Carmella mess.
The storylines are way better than what Raw has going on right now for the women's division.
This last Tuesday the crowd was losing their mind for a Nikki/Natalya brawl and they want to see Becky get the belt back from Alexa.
I'll take those over Charlotte's storyline of "can suddenly never lose on PPV but can lose the title on Raw every time I defend it"

Nice turnaround from all the bitching about Nikki hogging the spotlight as diva's champion and not dropping the belt to Charlotte the week before Night Champions….I do wonder though why anyone wants to see Natalya participate in another feud she'll likely lose before being usted back down to putting people over.
and they want to see Becky get the belt back from Alexa.
I'm honestly of the mind that Lynch dropping the belt to Bliss was poorly booked with how weak they made her look before it happened. So why anyone's on the bandwagon for this is strange especially with this La Luchadora nonsense being thrown in.

50/50 booking son.

Which in this case has been pretty terrible for over half a year. 50/50 booking can be good if it keeps people engaged in a feud or it's used to build to a huge story moment for one or both wrestlers, but Sasha/Charlotte is not that. Shinsuke/Joe is a better example for the same time period, but still not amazing. Wrestling fans have seen great booking before and remember what it looks like. Stone Cold and the Rock were both somehow positioned as close to equally as possible at their respective peaks and it worked. Flair and Dusty had perfect booking for their era and audience. Austin vs. Bret is also an almost perfect feud from beginning to end. At the end of the day, people just need to care and be continually engaged, and for most fans, that's not been the case for a large part of their feud, though to be fair, the same can be said for most feuds in the WWE today. I wish they'd take a note from old AJPW booking.
-
^ I don't disagree on any that I do get incredulous over the concept of it do to the fact that WWE doesn't actually seem to know how 50/50 works.

Seeing Wolfy go as far as he did was great though.
They kind of built him up to be one of the surprise packages of the tournament along with Bate.
I was pretty sure we'd be seeing Trent and Dunne in the final with the way they were talking at the beginning.

Do you hear that…?
That's the sound of the Royal Rumble Rumours generator going into overdrive.
-
I'm hyped that Mickie is back. I think I'm going to like the Mickie and Alexa team up.
-
Goldberg doing a promo with a cut head…...gives no fucks.
-
So… Tonight is the night, tonight is the Royal Rumble, arguably...the most exciting pay-per-view and match of the year.
So far, 22 participants have been announced/entered into Royal Rumble 2017, these include (in no order):
1. The Undertaker
2. Goldberg
3. Brock Lesnar
4. Mojo Rawley
5. Big Show
6. Dean Ambrose
7. The Miz
8. Sami Zayn
9. Dolph Ziggler
10. Big E Langston
11. Xavier Woods
12. Kofi Kingston
13. Bray Wyatt
14. Randy Orton
15. Luke Harper
16. Braun Strowman
17. Baron Corbin
18. Chris Jericho
19. Cesaro
20. Big Cass
21. Sheamus
22. Alexander RusevThis leaves 8 "surprise" entrants, which, can consist of returning superstars, debuting superstars, or even superstars a part of the main roster/part of WWE already. So... Who do you guys think the 8 surprise entrants are going to be?
I'm going with:
1. Kurt Angle. He's being inducted to the Hall of Fame, Class of 2017 as the headliner, and, apparently cancelled all plans this weekend. He keeps denying he won't be at the Royal Rumble, but come on…too many things are adding up to him being a surprise entrant).
2. Samoa Joe. IT'S TIME!! CALL HIM UP!! PUT HIM ON SMACKDOWN!! He wasn't/hasn't been a part of NXT for awhile–didn't partake in NXT TakeOver last night--and he's more than ready to become a threat on the main roster.
3. Tye Dillinger. Do it WWE!! Make him come out at #10 in the Royal Rumble!! Though it's predictable, just do it!!
4. Finn Balor. I think he's returning, can't say much more than that really. He's apparently undergone tests this week to determine if he's ready to return, and, we haven't heard the results yet. I'm quite certain he's coming out tonight at the Royal Rumble. If it's not Finn, if Finn isn't cleared, this will be a WWE Legend, like Kevin Nash or Shawn Michaels (he is suppose to be a part of the pre-show afterall).
5. R-Truth. Boring…since it's not a surprise, return, or debut, but I think it's obvious he's going to enter the Royal Rumble.
6. Goldust. Again…boring, but not as boring as R-Truth (and someone I actually like). I think it's obvious that he will be in the Royal Rumble with his partner.
7. Tyler Bate. The newly crowned WWE UK Champion. What better way to debut and give some exposure to your new product then debuting him to the mainstream audience during one of the most exciting and popular events of the year for WWE. It's either going to be him, or, Pete Dunne, the man he fought in the UK Championship finals.
8. James Ellsworth. Ugh… A waste of a spot if you ask me, but you do need some shotgun eliminations in the Royal Rumble, and he could be a comedic/cool one (especially if eliminated almost instantly by Goldberg or Brock, perhaps even Braun Strowman; would be funny if he eliminated Strowman, lol, but he won't). He's also been doing videos for a week asking to be a part of it, so...I think it's almost a guarantee at this point.
Wild card: Kenny Omega. I know it won't happen, especially since he said he's heading back to NJPW for another year, but would be amazing if it was all a story and he indeed is attending/being a part of the Royal Rumble. Like…less than a 1% chance this happens. lol

Or get buried by dat 50/50 booking.

I do feel Seth Rollins is going to try to get into the rumble

I do feel Seth Rollins is going to try to get into the rumble
I feel Triple H is going to be a surprise entrant, but, Seth is going to run in and eliminate him, further building the feud they have going into Wrestlemania.
-
I typed out my predictions for the rumble only for it not to go through. It's frustrating.
Anyway, I have Taker winning the whole thing.

If that happens I expect the people whining about how guys like Cena don't put over the younger (that's really that young)/fresher talent to complain.
-
Cena vs AJ has been awesome… Sad that AJ lost the title but so be it... I just afraid that they will put him with Shane at WM... He doesn't deserve suhch shitty match.
Randy winning the Royal Rumble is still better as Reigns but I for sure hope we won't see Randy vs Cena for 100 times... Maybe at EC Wyatt will gt the title to spice things up... Further more I really want to see what they have planned for Luke Harper... And even more when Eric will return.
Love how Baron was able to eliminate Braun... Awesome
And now to Kevin Owens... First of all I love that he is still champion but I fucking hate his cheap wins... I want price fighter Owens back who was actually booked like a proper heel and while doing cheap shots, he did it on hid own... But well he was against Roman... And no one beats Roman besides maybe Balor
-
So pouring over the results
Most of the heels won.
After months of being made weak Anderson and Gallows rolled over Cesaro and Sheamus who for the last couple of weeks had the same thing being done to them.
After being brutalized a couple of times in his feud with Rusev Enzo enters at #27 and gets mauled by Lesnar.
Strowman now seems to have heat with Big Show who they look like they been trying to throw him into a feud with, along with Baron Corbin who eliminated him, Reigns who he attacked earlier at the PPV,, and Sami Zayn who still has heef with him.
Charlotte wins at the PPV (but she'll likely incur a few losses via submission on TV) whereas Sasha jobbed unsurprisingly.
Triple H wasn't in the rumble so Rollins couldn't screw him over as payback for Triple H screwing him over twice before.
And Cena and Styles apparently had a barn burner of a match for the title.
Baeically the PPV was apparently all over the place.
-
I'm hype for Joe Vs. Rollins.
-
We get a Samoan named Joe at #30 and I was furious.
A Samoan named Joe destroys Rollins on Raw and I was happy.
It's been quite the rollercoaster of Samoan Joes over the past few days.
-
It's being reported that Rollins has reinjured his right knee when he was attacked by Samoa Joe this past monday on Raw. His status for WM 33 is currently up in the air.

Well shit .
-
I haven't got a chance mention. I recently finished watching the Axs tv airing of Wrestle Kingdom. I have the best matches of the show were Omega vs. Okada and Naito vs. Tanahashi. Naito continues to be my current favorite wrestler since last year that I started watching New Japan on Axs tv.
-
Elimination Chamber was a really good show. I'm happy that both Bray and Naomi won their matches. Both the chamber match and Harper vs. Orton were the matches of the night.
-
Took about 3 years but Naomi finally got a title.
-
Yeah Wyatt is FINALLY champion. Well deserved and should have happened earlier.
Sad that h most likely will lose to Randy and won't get it anytime soon
-
The visual of Wyatt holding the title inside the chamber with his fireflies and the WM sign in the background was amazing.
-
So how did everyone like Emma's redebut as Emmalina:ninja:
Also nice to see Dana Brooke do a run-in during Charlotte-Bayley (despite not being around Charlotte for the last few months) and Sasha screwing over Charlotte despite being in a feud with Nia Jax.

I thought that part was really great. Naomi reaction of winning the Women's Championship on Talking Smack was a great moment for her.

DDP is going to the Hall of Fame!
-
Show vs Strowman genuinely surprised me, especially Braun's athleticism.
-
Other than Kevin Owens, Brock and the main event another meh RAW.
Glad I bought tickets for Smackdown instead.
-
Strowman continues to impress me. Seriously, I have to give the guy some credit, he have been the highlight of Raw for the last several months. Besides Jericho and Owens, Raw have been pretty bad since the brand extension. Smackdown continues to be pretty good and the storylines on Smackdown flow pretty good, while it doesn't on Raw.
-
I'll say I like how just a few short weeks ago Strowman and Zayn along with Sasha and Nia were feuding with one another now suddenly with those feuds having any proper blowoff
Zayn is feuding with Joe, Strowman is feuding with Reigns, Sasha is apparently being thrown into the middle of Charlotte's and Bayley's feud with special guest Stephanie McMahon and a cameo by Dana Brooke, and Nia? back to squashing jobbers -

The issue with Strowman is that as soon as his booking goes it's probably going to be all downhill from there.
We've seen it so many times before with monster heels in WWE.
They finally get that itch and have the monster lose clean and after that they have no idea how to book them without them losing credibility.
Umaga and Kozlov come to mind immediately.
-
Kozlov was bland and somewhat dull.
-
I don't know if I'm only one. I recently started to listen to the Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast. It's pretty much my favorite wrestling podcast right now, because it so different from all the other ones that is out there. Some of his stories about Vince on the podcast are pretty funny and interesting. Couple episodes I do recommend are the two episodes about TNA and I also recommend the XFL and the Last episode of Nitro episodes as well. It's a really good podcast.
-
Breaking News, The Hardys and Drew Galloway are done with TNA.
TNA really messed up big time this time around. Losing both their Tag Team champions and their Grand Champion in one day.
-

They long since messed up when Jarrett brought Dixie in.
-
Well… I'm guessing the Hardies will be coming to WWE now, because I'm sure they want at least 1 last run there. (Also I'm sure WWE is throwing them all the money, and probably offering at least somewhat a nice amount of creative control).
I would also, perhaps, expect Drew to come back now as a MUCH bigger deal than when he was in his first WWE run. He will probably start on NXT though.
-
I have a feeling that the Hardys are going back to WWE. But from what I read the Hardys have some Indys booking until May (That includes the Supercard of Honor match with the Young Bucks during WrestleMania weekend). I can see Galloway coming back to WWE pretty quickly, since he have improved a lot since his last run in WWE.
