I don´t know if there´s another thread on this i searched for "first anime" and "first manga" and didn´t find anything.
So the questions are What was your first Animé/Manga experience? and what is it that makes keep reading/watching
My first anime was Inuyasha a couple ov years ago and it was an awesome show too bad it ended, but the manga goes on. the thing that keeps me reading and watching is that theres always something new in comparison to western comics. give me your thoughts.

I think back to the days of when Nick Jr. aired "The Li'l Bits" and "Adventures of the Little Koala." I can't remember when, but I also remember watching an episode of "Anpanman". Didn't know any Japanese at the time, but hey, cartoons were cartoons.
Prolly Pokemon or something
The earliest anime I've seen was Transformers. I didn't know the show was an anime at the time and I care more for the toy line than the show. Some time later, DBZ first aired on UPN and it was one the first shows I watched from start to end.
either Dragonball(original) or Ronin Warriors
first?? Transformers and Yattaman… and of course Daimos (or however it is spelled) and then DBZ...
might be goldorak or samurai pizzacats. but it might also be something older, i was under 10 yo back then ^^
