Worst! Anime Opening/Ending.

I did a few searches for this topic and couldn't find anything on it, so if this has been done, my apologies in advance, and mods please act accordingly. Anyways. . .

Have you ever come across an opening that was so bad and stupid that you almost stopped watching the show. Now I don't mean those terrible dubbed for American TV openings where they think they have to show random clips of the show and repeat the shows name over and over again, I mean the original Japanese openings.

What openings sucked!?!

Mahou Sensei Negima (the 1st series) opening. Animation, music, it's all really bad and rushed. But then the anime start and everything gets worse.

Specifically, the second Naruto opening and the fourth Fullmetal Alchemist opening.

Just heard "No Boy No Cry" (Opening 6 to Naruto) and that song sounded better on the game Taiko Drum Master, that isn't saying much…

Lesse, other openings/endings I didn't like:

--FMA opening 3, "Undo"
--One Piece ending 6, "Fish"
--Bleach ending 3, "Happy People"
--Berserk ending

Naruto's 3rd opening, Bleach's 4th ending, and Blood+'s last opening. I can't believe they let that group of retards sing Blood+'s last opening!

But Nadesico's "You Get Burning" is fabulously awful mangled English.
Other wonderfully awful examples are the Escaflowne ending "Mystic Eyes" and the Kenshin ending "Tactics".

But these are IMO too much fun to be just plain bad. (Although the visual of the Michael Jackson red glove on Van in the Escaflowne one might just put it right back over the top into plain old awfulness.)

I agree with the Wolf's Rain op, even though I like to sing along to it for fun.

I think the op for X TV was awful, and I wish they used an X-Japan song like they did in the past X anime projects or something. I also wasn't too fond of the first ED from Bleach, but it did have accurate english lyrics which is rare. Ooh that reminds me, I hated the first ED of Naruto too.

…also, every op/ed from Weiss Kreuz. is not over the fact she bought into that fangirly over-hyped garbage

I know there were loads more, but I can't think of them…

The first ending to Lupin III makes me want to gouge out my ears with a discontented badger. Most OP endings do the same for me too, actually, except the first two.

Tokkos opening sucks, its called "Nothing" i think, dunno if anyones heard it but it sucks. And all OP Openings dodging toma toes and 200-page essays from nerds.

"You gonna feel" and "Hey Jimmy" from Peacemaker Kurogane. Not that I don't like the two, but they don't fit the setting of the story if you know what I mean.

There are plenty of other openings and endings I'm not crazy about, but just because I don't like them doesn't automatically put them on the WORST list :P

Aw, no. People have different tastes, and that's fine. I happen to like FMA openings, but I'm not stupid. :)

besides, if someone is stupid, it is becasue they are just stupid. It has nothing to do with their tastes. :P
