Err….she was part of a secret organization, don't you think they'd have explosives?
Err….she was part of a secret organization, don't you think they'd have explosives?
But what was the point of all those hands?
Setting up the explosives in the boat.
She either a)had a whole shitload of dynamite or b)attacked the powder room. Could be either. That or she got one of Mr. 5's boogers.
lol why is it even a spoiler? XD

But what was the point of all those hands?
when i saw it in the anime, i was thinking she do that to save ingram
I was trying to figure it out too. I always assumed she lit some kind of explosion, and then it wne tup to a barrel. She pulled her hand(s?) away and BOOM!
when i saw it in the anime, i was thinking she do that to save ingram
I thought so too because if some other B.W. agents came, they would have actually blew up his ship and killed him. But I guess this could be interpreted in different ways :S
Oh boy… you called Robin useless. Local-chan is not going to like you dissing his wife...
Robin is hot. End
She probably hav a lot of dynamites or other explosives or maybe there are a lot of gun powder on the ship and she lit it, then those hands maybe lit the dynamites or save igaram… and her hotness contributed to the explosion...
I used to think maybe she created a ton of hands inside and it just kionda made the ship go splodey.
Robin is hot. End
@--MRED--:
explain your theory
lol sorry but that just seemed funny to me..
Anyway I always thought she did some fancy thing with her powers cause DFs can do many things like Luffys new technique.
Perhaps she did something else and not blow it up and someone else did instead?
Though now that I think about it, I do kinda wonder whether Robin intended for Igaram to survive, or if that was just coincidental… She didn't really have much of a reason for him to be either dead or alive at that point... Probably been discussed before, but I ain't round these parts too often.
i guess she never really intended to kill him… cuz i know she's really kind hearted and it won't affect her plan so much if she let him live... that's what i think...
The explosion happened because it was written in the script.
Magical Oda explosions help convey potent, mysterious abilities.
And I think she was trying to murder Ingram. Of course. But, Oda also puts into the universe of magical explosions a magical 'Get Out Of Death Free' card.
You just can't die in this very dangerous world of One Piece.

THUS CAUSING LARGE SCALE COMBUSTIONS?
explain your theory
WTH!! Sorry pips…It's a full moon that time.
I just morphed to retard mode!!
Neway off topic:
Let's put it this way. .Robin creates all those hadns to rub them all together and create friction so powerful that an explosion takes place.
^that sounds painful for Robin.
I just remembered…didn't Igaram fight with guns and explosives? He probably had some on the ship. Robin just needed to light them up. Yet, she probably saved him, so that she could be a "good guy."
Yeah, Robin feels everything that happens to her sprouted body parts. Rub your hands together really fast and try to make a spark, let me know if you make it.
–why is this discussion still going? o_o

Yeah, it's not even serious anymore.
Oh yeah, I remember now that Robin's turtle had a cigar! She probably threw it into Igarams ship and blew it up!
It was the turtle! It was the god damn turtle!
Yes, blame the turtles.
what happend to that turtle…
DAMN YOU ODA
NO CLOSURE FOR REPTILES EH?
Wasn't he what was being cooked for the Baroque Works meeting before Crocodile said "Hell with it, just put their orders in the dishes."?
The turtle didn't like Robin. I've always thought of her to be an animal killer.
there was a turtle?
there was a turtle?
Shame on you. Not remembering the glory of the giant turtle which we met when first met Robin.
was that in the anime as well?
(I'm slowley watching OP over again. I'm just about to start wiskey peak)
this was a year and a half ago, that I have to remember one little scene out of about 300 episodes.
Yes, the turtle was in the anime too. How the hell would Robin have gotten on and off the Going Merry if not for the turtle?
Make a bridge from shore to it with her body parts and walk it?
ok, since all of you guys got off subject, i'll tell you the answer. robin didn't really blow up all those ships. the marines made that up because they didn't want anybody to know the truth of Ohara(robin's hometown). if fact, it was jaguar d. saulo who destroyed the marine ships.
well, actually, yeah, why not, buu. ^_^ I could see that working. (bridge of body parts) I just don't remember, that's all. I'm sure I will laugh at myself when I see it again.
Rob L. that's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about the whole alabasta arc, right after whiskey peak, when robin was a bad guy. Aperently, there was a turtle too. lol

…Did you even READ the opening post?
I always thought Robin put explosives inside the ship and lit them with her many hands. It's just something you don't think about much, as you know it's mostly over with.
I thought the manga didn't show hands. But did the anime already know her ability somehow? Seems like quite a far gap between manga and anime, as opposed to now with the Enies Lobby situation.
