Why would the Gorousei risk sending one of their own to accomplish something so dangerous, as well as being linked to the crimes of CP9?

[snapback]1249[/snapback]Nobody from the Five Star Elders is in Water Seven. Spandam is the chief of CP5, an intelligence agency that reports to teh Elders. Also, part of CP9's skill is to avoid being connected to anything, so there's really little danger of embarassing/criminal links to the Five Star Elders so long as CP9 does their job right.

Corgi's not a member of the Star Elders. He might be a Cipher Pol, but he's not one of the Gorosei.

Are you sure? He looks EXACTLY like one of them, right down to the scar on the right side of his face.

I checked, and compared. He isn't one of the Gorousei. He's just an official. You can see for yourself in 328 and 233.

Corgi's probably just another CP agent. He has the same exact emblem on his jacket than Spandam and his homies has. And I doubt a Five Elder Star would bother to come down into Water 7 personally.
