I would say Whitebeard, but my friend thinks it would be Aokiji because he has all that ice. but i think Whitebeard would've swept the floor with The Aokiji.

This is totally unknown right now. We only know Whitebeard´s face. If Whitebeard is a normal person(very big, but nothing more) the marines would have probably killed him

We only know that WHitebeard is the strongest man alive in the world. I vote for Whitebeard though I like Aokiji much more.

Aokiji is big, but Whitebeard is like a friggin mountain. Even though size should have nothing to do with strength, I'll still go with Whitebeard cause I'm even scared of him.

Yeh, it's hard to gauge how a fight would turn out, if we don't even know how one guy fights, what his abilities are or if he is a DF user?! Sure Newgate took Roger to task, but they could've fought bare knuckled in close combat, for all we know.

or lets say maybe aokiji had something to do with catching Roger. It would be impossible to compare them we dont know there full powers yet

Whitebeard of course. He´s the most powerful Pirate in the One Piece world. Besides the Gorousei said that if Whitebeard and Shanks would join forces this would be a serious problem. If you follow the logic then this must mean that those two pirate crews together COULD take on everybody who are loyal to the Government. That includes Grand Admiral Sengok, the three Admiral supremes and the Shichibukai. So yes, Whitebeard would beat up Aokiji IMO.

what i think they ment is that, if shanks and whitebeard join forces then lots of pirates well join and shichibukai start leaving the goverment and chaos well start. if they took the goverment down they can move around easily thats what i ment

It´s not just Whitebeard and Shanks, it´s their crew´s aswell. Whitebeard has Ace and once Blackbeard was also a part of the crew so there might even be more such guys among the crew. Shanks on the other hand has Ben Beckman, Lucky Lou, Yasopp and a rookie with 94.000.000 Berry on his head. These two pirate crews must be the non plus ultra in the One Piece World and if that is the case then you can bet that their captains would be even more powerful then the rest. And since they seem to be so strong I have my doubts that they would easily let any other pirates join. I think the Gorousei must think so too.

Well, as the most of us know Whitebeard is considered the strongest man in the world so my votes on him, man…. I think he'll step on Aokiji and ask his crewmates to sweep him away :lol:

Personally I think that Aokiji because we know that he is from the World Goverment and he's really strong.
Whitebeard is strong but he can't defeat Aokiji because he has nurses all around when we first saw him so, that could mean thta he's sick and his sickness might strike him any moment in a fight -
i think one blow from whitebeard is enough. and how old do you think he is? HES OLD and gigantic the only thing i feel sorry for is his legs. how can they carry him

nah no matter how strong he is oneblow would never be enought to take out aokiji who is the top fighter in the marine,
would probably be pretty even given that they are the strongest of each side but in the end whitebeard would probably win

They called Whitebeard the Strongest Pirate (or Man), but Aokiji was constantly referred to as the Marine HQ's Strongest Fighter.
So, like I said earlier, it's too early to call.

Sengoku is the Chief Admiral of the Marine Forces, he has the higher authority over those three high Admirals.
I don't think he has any special abilities or huge strength whatsoever.

When they said he was the Marine HQ's strongest, I assume out of everyone who's stationed there, and that there could be people equal to or stronger than him stationed elsewhere (Akainu, Kizaru). I think Sengoku's power is more political than physical, but I wouldn't doubt that he has some might himself.

i wouldnt be suprised if he was incredebly strong since the SB seems to respect him and obey him and those guys dont seem to respect anything other than strenght
