It uses footage of Usopp taking out a smoke bomb, and replaces it with the animation cel of the knife Nami is holding. In the original, she just stabs him with it and he bleeds everywhere.
In the 4Kids Version, it is a cleverly hatched plot between Nami and Usopp.
Or so it would seem..?

I've never seen the dub but judging by the screen shots, these definetly look hilarious. I think the the super soakers was a really odd idea, pretty whack.

Like in the first episode when Nami knees one of Alvida's pirates in the balls, they showed it! Also when the Ussop pirates hit Jango in the balls with their weapons in the forest, they let that slide! So I really don't know why they edited that when they've let hits to the nuts pass other times.

My favorite has to be Meri's suction-cup gun he pulls on Kuro. Because if someone comes at you with sword-fingers, you pull out a SUCTION CUP GUN on them. Masterful logic!

The edit that got me the most was Arlong pointing his finger of doom sending Bellmare to the dungeon, I almost pissed myself laughing.

I thought it was quite funny when they changed one of the Veggies swords, in the Kuro arc, to a saucepan, it looked so poorly drawn.

THe amazing hammer gun was amazing. I was also laughing when Kuro did his special attack and his crew just randomly were like "GASP!" And fell over…..
When Luffy said: "What an ignoramus!" I was dying. Seriously, the real Luffy wouldn't use 'big words' like that!
That's all I got. I've only seen 2 episodes, anyway. I'll watch them so I can bring up more later.

I thought Bellemere's shovel was pretty stupid. 4 Kids is so lazy with their editing, since the trigger clicking could still be heard.
Ever notice how inconsistent the editing is sometimes? 4 Kids obviously rushed their dub. Just look at what happened when they erased the post from Zoro's cross; part of Luffy's hat dissapeared! In the intro when Luffy attacks Mihawk, his sword still looks like a cross, and Bellemere's grave is still a cross at one point.

My friend and I were looking at the edited screenshots today. When I showed her the one with Helmeppo's hammer gun, she was like "It looks like a shower head!". It kind of does.

I also found it stupid how they erased everything that says "Marines" and replaced it with Navy. It was a completely pointless edit! Why did they even do that in the first place? Honestly, sometimes I don't even understand why 4 Kids edits what they do.
