Meh, it's for the best. Even if they literally do nothing, the budget deficit will go away in a few years anyway, especially since the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are drawing to a close. If the Bush tax cuts expire, the entire situation will resolve itself by 2015 at the latest.

Just look at the Tottenham riots to see why people are so bitter and angry, and turned into this kind of person.
In her eyes she's probably thinking "this country is at an all time high on the jobless, foreigners are coming over and plundering our retarded benefit and housing system, and to top it off i have to sit on the floor with a child because of it."

Oh I know lol I live in the UK. I dn’t know about the actual numbers of migrants coming into the UK to settle down permanently but I agree that on the surface, especially in hotspots like London migrant numbers are high. Is the picture the same if we look at absolute numbers across the country? I dn’t know but I doubt it.
There are so many studies about the jobs migrants perform being in a large part those at the lowest end of the labour market, left vacant because there is often not enough supply for low status-’dirty’ work which are for the most part concentrated in the informal sector. I dn’t think many migrants happily jump in planes,boats,trucks to ‘hell yeah lets invade take everything’ the UK like this woman seems to think. The higher migration trends nowadays are not going to stop until the countries they come from achieve economic & social development. She may say why should the UK have anything to do with this? that’s where the notion of global justice,historical links, the world economy’s structure etc comes in right.
I think there should be tougher ‘screening’ for better skilled migrants though. But they are less likely to be the ones in dire situations back in their countries pushed to migrate and this might pose an actual threat to the unemployed skilled pool available here in competing for skilled jobs. Most importantly Brain drain.
Bref, you are right that's exactly what she is thinking I mostly found this funny especially the 'look at the tram' bit hilarious lol. I have so many times 'ranted' about 'too many migrants!!!(including us lol)' with family members whether in the UK or France but at least I have some small grasp of deeper issues underlying these trends. Racist tirades like this woman's,whichever side it comes from, boil down to ignorance. I just hope the brats around also noticed the hug given by that lady to the upset guy or the woman who got pissed off in the end. Nothing unusual or new here about all this that's life(although she actually managed to get a little tear out of me at the end) .
