Read these next words in a fine, balanced stead, for you may not feel the same when you exit my linguistic journey. You may even question the fact that your essence has been labeled with the digital boundaries we know as "Screen names". I, however, am free from these vile claws (as the puppeteer of the vultures that circle around your computers) and I show no hesitation in portraying these beliefs to you; except perhaps for a quick trip to Thesaurus.com.

In the graphical World (and beyond, to those among us with flying ships) we know to exist - albeit namelessly - in the tome dwelling boundaries of "One Piece", there exists a group, although not specifically a tenacious cabal of sorts, that seeks to halt the progress of our Peace Main - one Monkey D. Luffy - and his crew by means of mental and (more frequently) physical combat. They each have their own methods and reasons for this assault, however every last one of them is cast in the light of the villain (a shadow, perhaps.) It is with a sincere grimace that I present to you these images:

Erm… Don's is more grey then purple... Crocs is really dark grey with a touch of purple on the highlights... Spandam's again is mostly grey. Warpol's is blue. Would I be scorned if I said I don't get the point of this topic really?

It doesn't hold any special information. Or connection, its just how Oda decided. Kuro had black hair, Arlong had black hair, Enel had blonde, Bellamy had blond, none of the Shichibukai have purple hair, none of the Gorousei have purple hair (thats because they're old geezers. :ninja:), etc. etc. etc.

Unless there is some magical hidden power that comes with purple hair I deem this topic pointless.

ahh u see…the colour of purple has this power to take sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide from the air to form oxygen and glucose...meaning that they really dont have to breathe nor need to eat sweets!!

thinking aobut it, just because the shade is of a slightly different color, Krieg still has grey hair, same as Mr 1. howeve rif you look closely you'll see shades of pink and blue are actually a majority of the white in Marine uniforms.

when it's Animated it comes out differently, same as sometime Manga Artists use the color/shading of the book it's published in to their advantage of adding special shades in.

Spandam's is definatly purple, and Wapol's is definatly Purple, but much darker. the shiny on Crocodile's head of black hair doesn't count, since it's Shiny and is there so he doesn't have a black bloth on his head.

Enel also had blonde hair I think goes with that "superior race" thing seen in other animes, like Dragonball. Though I don't recommend that sort of thing.

Kuro's hair was black, and so was Lucci's. Black is the color of the Grim Reaper's coat. So…black hair's are assassins? Mr.3's hair was black too, and he was technically an assassin.

Meanwhile...Foxy. He had a big purple coat I think.

Now Buggy, he's the odd man out here, having blue hair. This is kind of appropriate, considering that he's a little different from all the villians so far...he's still in the story. And yet....

Vivi and Franky both have Blue hair. If we assume that Franky will join the crew, then does that mean...that Buggy is a future Strawhat?!

Heh, I never noticed that until you put pictures of them together. While I'm leaning toward it being coincidental, maybe future villains will also have purple hair and then someone in the SBS will point it out to Oda. And of course Oda will come up with some crazy answer about how the purple hair made them manlier or something.

I think his point that Lucci wasn't the mastermind of the Enies Lobby arc. Lucci himself even stated that Spandam was in charge:

Spandam: "That girl and the woman are following us! Why didn't you kill them?"
Lucci: "You didn't give the order…"

Spandam is the mastermind of the Enies Lobby arc, as crappy as it may sound.

None of those other people you've mentioned are main villians except for Enel. And G-8 was a FILLER ARC. Foxy doesn't count because that was more of a comedy relief arc to help people relax after Skypeia.

Still, I think the theory's bogus.

Purple is supposed to be the colour of pride, so that could have something to do with the characters:

1. Krieg thought he was invincible.
2. Wapol thought he was the only ruler Drum needed.
3. Crocodile thought his plans were foolproof.
4. Spandam though he was the reason why the Buster Call wasn't attacking the bridge.

Therefore, purple hair must be given to characters that are very arrogant and proud. Of course, almost all One Piece villains are like that.
