Just the name so far, though they've said that they're doing an album for sure this year. So as I say, Crazy Rainbow will probably be on it

Brand New World is personally my favorite. even if the animation is a little green(no really there's a tooooon of shades of green used)
Kokoro No Chizu outlived it's welcome by a couple episodes sure, but seriously, they can't just get rid of a new opening what 15 episodes in? I personally like it and would rather that they held off on it for another 30 episodes.

They're really catchy and that's coming from a guy. Personally, I don't find them attractive (in a non-homosexual way (( not that there's anything wrong with that)) ) but they put out some really good music that will stick in your head.
Actually, they've done at least one OP ending before so you should already ave an inkling, even though that was a really laid-back piece.
I figured Brand New World would last at least through the entire Enies Lobby Arc….considering its so content specific to what's going on.
Im surprised at this as well. I really like Brand New World… and I mean half the things in the opening haven't even happened yet and WON'T happen by the time they change it O_o that's just kinda weird.
and I know it lasted a long time but I personaly believe Believe was the best opening thus far.
I firgured they would change opening just before the fights get started seems good to me i like new openings
and one piece gets the best music and the openings scenes are always awesome i just cant wait!

Reported in this week's Jump, the current opening "Brand New World" will be replaced with "Crazy Rainbow" by Tackey & Tsubasa (ED - 14 Mirai Koukai) on November the 5th.
No word on any changes to ED theme.

The 10/15 date is advertising episode 281, which'll be Nami's flashback. The bottom half of the One Piece box there is the opening announcement. ^^

Look under Nami, next to the picture of the band. There's an 11, the kanji for month, and then a 5.
If its November 5th…..I'm assuming the filler will finish the week before that then and the new theme song will kick off the CP9 fighting episodes. Which means that Brand New World didn't even get through 20 episodes....thats quite short indeed. (Since they used We Are again, and could possibly use it or other theme songs in the coming weeks)

I'm glad they're changing this one quickly, it's pretty meh…and even if u like the song, the animation could be SOOOO much better. Alot of the into clips look kind or rushed and choppy..
Considering ep 279 has the old 'We are'(sh ver), I wonder if Japanese fans hated Brand New World and they're scrambling to get a new Opening quick.XD

That's too fast, Brand New World didn't start all that long ago did it? That's only about 4-5 episodes away… I would've expected the song to change until mid to late in
! Luffy and Lucci's fight. And Brand New World is so catchy too. Maybe the new one will be more jumpy and fit in longer and more visual scenes of the CP9 fights.
Possibly also featuring whomever it will be as the next crew member. I know Franky's already in the Brand New World but maybe the manga would have revealed the 8th member will be Franky (not saying he will, not saying he won't) so the theme song will do the same (like when Robin joined, the theme song already featured her before the anime actually showed it right?).

What pitty that Brand New World has to go already. I really liked both the song and the opening footage. This was the only song that came close to give me my OP Anime feeling I always had/have by watching episodes that had Believe is the opener. But what can I say, if they want to change it then it´s their dicission. I just wonder why so quick.

Same I could actually care that It's gone. But that's my thoughts. As you can see, they highly Contridicts w/ Carley. But yeah, It was okay.

I remember T&T for doing One Day, One Dream, Inu's 5th opening. That's the only one I can really stand listening to anymore.

anyways I am sad to see it go, It was my absolute favorite so far, and nothing can be better, I do however think that the animation on it was tacky. is was a bit…not blurry and not pixelated, but that sort of cruddy style thats a little blocky. the animation needed to be refined a bit better. their edges were very "blocky" and "rough".
I did however think they did an awesome job of showcasing everyone(evenm the villains) which was pretty nice to catch up with everyone else a bit, somewhat.

I too agree with was quite fast, the song was okay but I didn't like it too much it was defferently my least favorite. And others have said the animation was the same as the anime instead of nice and special like the other openings.
Tho I'm not too femilar with T&T I more than likely have listened to their songs plenty over winamp and enjoyed them without even realizing, so I'm looking forward to this opening. I hope we get good animation.
I have a feeling they're changing the opening because most of the popular anime got new openings around this time…

Change of seasons sure didn't seem to effect the changing of openings for OP before.

How odd. I mean, all the scenes shown in Brand New World were not shown, whereas all scenes shown in Kokoro no Chizu were shown, so they took it off since it's been on forever. Brand New World's only been on for a short time, so why the sudden change is my question.
What can be changed is the ending. Perhaps another Ruppina sung one.

well then I have to say this. Brand new world followed byKokoro no Chizu were my favorites. that said, I base what I was saying on my opinions.
It fit Enies Lobby well. I don't think there is anything we can do about it. even if we could send letters to TOEI, then I doubt they'd listen to use since we are in America.
then again I also think they should do the cover story arcs. it's better than fillers, in my opinion, and it actually accomplishes something. I heard the ratings arn't good but fillers, I'm guessing, arn't too good either, probably worse(I am basing this on the people in Japan)
The end of Brand New World shows them all standing facing Robin, so this next one, while completely going against the standard of long-spanned openings, is pretty appropriate. I'm betting the next one is going to have more spoilers–-possibly even more fighting. And then this new one will be shortlived as well. After all, they've been getting close to the manga. With the Water 7 Opening I'm guessing they had more material that they could think about and show. So until they start getting more behind the manga, or create an opening without spoilers (probably the next one after this new one), the openings will be short. Unless they're lazy. They don't seem too lazy recently.

well first off they only have it normal sized so One Piece is filling in the widescreen stuff.
next off on the lsit, they didn't want it to be classic We Are! I guess. and perhaps they no longer have the right to us eit sinceit's been so long. since they probably got permission to record the special edition, they probably have their own rights to that.

No, I'm pretty sure they can't do that. Nor can I see any reason why they would want to. All it does is give them royalties and promotion, after all.
you can't loan rights to someone and take it away.
besides, like cosmic debris said. you pick up fans, which is always good, and you get royalties everytime it's used.
TOEI probably doesn't see much profit coming in form CD's considering as far as I know they have all used Japanese bands and singers to make their songs, which of course means royalties royalties and more royalties.
Hopefully the new opening won't be as spoiler laden. My brother and I were watching the episodes before he had read the manga (he had stopped reading a little before Water 7) and Brave New World ruined Gear 2 for him. So he had to close his eyes while we watched episodes. It was dirty of them.
Why didn't he just skip the openings? Thats what the seek bar is for. Hell, I skip openings and endings almost always so I can get straight to the episode.
