Reported in this week's Jump, the current opening "Brand New World" will be replaced with "Crazy Rainbow" by Tackey & Tsubasa (ED - 14 Mirai Koukai) on November the 5th.
No word on any changes to ED theme.
Interesting, very interesting. Certainly would be the quickest change to the opening if it did happen, although that fact seems to be the greatest opponent against it happening. But hey, Tackey & Tsubasa, could always use more of them.

Well, anything would seem fast after having Kokoro no Chizu for aslong as we did.
But it wouldn't make alot of sense if they did change it. The CP9 fights haven't even begun yet, a few of which are featured in the opening.

well think about it… . How long did Bon Voyage last? three months? I think there's a pattern with the Theme songs. One lasting about 50 eps. and then two not as long ones.
Believe and Kokoro no Chizu was our longest, thats for sure. Also imo the best openings too…maybe the length of the openings have to due with how feedback recieved on them are.

I agree. The second intro Believe lasted for far longer (to long in my opinion), and yet Barve New World, which is my favourite to date, doesn't get to last as long.

Brand New World is probably my favorite in a while (though I liked Kokoro no Chizu too.. but they should've waited for more interesting developments before they animated it and we had Pauley for much longer than we should've).
Well I personally feel Kokoro no Chizu was one hella a song and deserved to be around for aslong as we had it.
I didn't really like Brand New World that much. I guess I was expecting something a little less bright and perky and a little more epic considering where they were in the story. Silly me.
nah, Buuhan you are not the only one that liked Believe, I actually loved that one for the longest time XD I like all the openings, though I think Bon Voyage and We Are! are my least favorite…. Brand New World, Kokoro No Chizu and Hikari E are my faves...
this new opening sounds like it could be pretty cool since Tackey and Tsubasa are pretty awesome ^^

I really like Brand New World, but it's not like I can't go back and rewatch it when there's a new opening or anything. I'm interested to see what new stuff we're going to see.
Only strange thing here is Brand New World won't even last for 20 episodes now, which just seems sort of weird.
Oh, it's not a rumor anymore, more awesomeness then. Too be honest, I didn't like Brave New World, nor really D-51. Maybe they're shifting to change the opening more often. Would certainly stop us from growing tired of them over time, like Believe (didn't like that either)
Aw man, I love Brand New World. In fact, I have it recorded to a re-writable cassette. Ah well, nothing lasts forever.

WTF, that was way too quick, plus I love Brand New World, but I guess since they hardly covered the fights, but then again, it's actually correct untill Nami fights Califa.
Thinking about it, Brand New World was used 13 times (since 268-269 and 277-278 were double episodes), so that could be a new pattern. I'll miss this song, but have a Tackey & Tsubasa opening sounds good enough.

I dunno, I kinda like it though. Maybe it means we'll get something like the first couple openings where the crew was just hanging out being the crew instead of actually spoiling the show.

As much as I'm surprised that they would change an opening after so short a time, especially one that revolves around an arc so much, I'm looking forward to this new one.

Ahem well anyway Back on topic i think this opening will be great but I think the opening changes were soon but also good reasons to change it since a new member MAY join.
But seriously now, as long as it's not rap, I pretty much automatically like it, if not love it. I may need to listen to some more T&T songs than just ed14 or that insert Inuyasha song.
And there's no way they'll make it for the new member. Unless they want to spoil another new member.

I don't know if it ever will be either; Real DX I'm almost certain won't be since that's a live-only song. But it's been a long time since they've even performed Kamira Tamara O_o;
They do have a new album coming out this year though, which is probably what Crazy Rainbow is gonna be on. Don't know the setlist though.
Oh I see, is this rumor credible? Maybe that is the reason why as of episode 279, the opening reverted back to "We Are"? Is it? It is just too bad, I really, really love "Brand New World"? It is my favorite after "Kokoro no Chizu".
